Okay here's the best recollection of the movie I can come up with: This guy transfers to a new school. He is unpopular at first. He starts giving people advice and eventually becomes the "school psychologist". He becomes more and more popular to the point where the school bully is helping him. He starts getting drugs involved by faking his symptoms to a real psychologist. The drugs start selling like crazy until one person nearly dies from an overdose. His popularity takes a big blow but people still come to for advice. Life returns back to normal. Side-plot: He gets a girlfriend. Her father is the principal and doesn't trust him. Once he finds out about the drugs, he really despises the guy and tries to separate the pair. The daughter becomes alienated from her father and the father nearly commits suicide but the guy saves him. Sorry for the vagueness
I saw like 3 in each world at the Chaos Druid Tower (I think it's called that). You could tell that they were bots because they all had similar equipment, 5-lettered, nonsense names, and they just showed actions that a bot would display.
Americans should never go any further than dubbing animes. Even the American animes. They've destroyed Avatar: The Last Airbender. Agreed, the American versions of anime are altered/censored waaaay too much. If the Japanese can watch mildly mature material, I don't see why Americans can't. Some of the dubs suck just as much in my opinion.
