A strange thing happened on a run at barrows today. Everything was normal. Verac was my tunnel brother. Then I went on like normal, killing torag and guthan. I went back to veracs crypt with a kc of 5, went down to the tunnels, and got my kc up to 12. Then I went to the chest with no sight of verac. Got to the chest room, opened the chest and got my reward, WITHOUT killing verac. Is this normal?
