  2. Well I need 15 Firemaking levels and 6 Fletching levels, and few quests to use fairy rings, but I guess it's worth it. Thanks for the help :)
  3. Kind of off topic here but when I pray mage at Abby Specs the mage attack is WELL away from me when I activate my prayer but I still get hit. I have come to the conclusion there is either extreme lag when you activate a prayer, your prayer kicks in after 1 round of combat, or if the attack is already on it's way you can't defend yourself from it.
  4. If you play this game trying to chase the Golden Age back, you will never have fun. I miss it too, I remember when i had 50s in melee stats and thought I was so good :P But you need to learn to try to make the best out of the new changes to RuneScape, nothing will bring it back to the way it was in 2004.

  6. Upon visiting the Lady of the Lake wearing the Seer's Headband 3, she will enchant your Excalibur to be an Enhanced excalibur. The attack and strength stats are a significant improvement. Additionally, the special attack restores 20 hp (takes several seconds) and boosts defence. I'm a little confused, does this mean I just need to beat all the hard tasks or the whole diary to get the enhanced excalibur sword? TY :)

  9. So I finally unlocked them :D but I am wondering what setup I should use to maximize my exp/h. Currently I look like: Neitz Salve Ammy Verac's Brassard Verac's Skirt Abby Whip Rune Defender Dragon Boots Obby Cape (Don't have any gloves that give stat bonuses :P )

  11. So I finally got 70 mage to use the black sally, and I want to know what a good setup/invy for barrows is, and I have a few questions. Is a spirit terrorbird worth taking? If so, should I bring 1-2 summ pots and an extra pouch? And should I use scrolls to help me get through the swamp without losing too much? Also, if I cant afford the veracs helm to go with the rest of the set, should I use Neitz helm for def bonuses or prossy helm for pray bonuses? How much harralander tar should I be bringing with me? And are there any tips and tricks I should know? TY :)
  12. As far as I know, ranging them is the best way to go. I tried ranging them at 74 ranged with pots, and I found it really slow. I think skipping it (like you did) was the right idea. But, you should definitely level up your ranged level for the next time a task like this comes around. These tasks can be very profitable if you have the skills required. If you REALLY despise Ranged, get your melee stats to around 80/80/80 with 60-70ish prayer, so you can make good profits meleeing :)

As a Barrows user/Bandos wanter (lol I invented a word) I can tell you that Barrows is probably "better" for someone with defence stats like mine, but Bandos has good prayer/strength bonuses and looks really cool :thumbup: I am guessing when they add the new armour it will be high leveled stuff, and it will be the new thing to wear. Thus, people will sell Bandos to get the new armour, and Bandos will fall to a reasonable price. That's just my guess :D
  15. 1) Aviansies!!! 73-74 for me was 100k exp and I made 1.6m~ 2) Cannon the dragons in the wildy, Chaos Tunnels, Blue Dragon in Hero's Guild, Blue Drags in Taverly dungeon 3) Cleaning herbs 4) Powermine until you have access to the Living rock Caverns, then do that. Cannonballs are a good way to profit through smithing, but they are kinda slow :/
  16. Don't for get a BoB if you can get one. Wear semi-strong and light equipment to fend off the black demons and such. I personally have 22 glories as it makes having to recharge your amulets a less frequent distraction. I personally find a BoB to be a pain doing this, as you need to transfer the orbs 1 by 1. Instead, I use a magpie.
  17. I was considering swapping out the verac's helm for neit to save me the 4.3m or whatever, but do I really have to switch attack styles for the different brothers? I was hoping to just kill them all with the salamander mage option :S
  18. OMG! I only have 14 days left! THIS SUCKS!!! I could've sworn I was getting 31 day months for previous subscriptions when there was 29 days in the month.
  19. Buy an air staff, 3 cosmic runes per unpowered orb and 10+ ammy of glories. Search a vid on youtube for the path to get to the obelisk, it's really quite easy, and when casting the spell it's semi-afk able :)
  20. To get from 68-70 I'm chargin air orbs I am getting between 500-600gp profit per cast, and 76 exp per cash. But it is slower exp than alching. I only alch after get a buildup of a lot of nature runes from monster hunting, so I end up profiting. To find out how much it would cost/cast, just add the cost of a nature rune and whatever you are alching and subtract the cost of the high alchemy reward from it.

  22. According to your sig you are 4,197,337 exp from 99 defence. That will require you to inflict 1,049,335 damage to achieve your goal. (4,197,337/exp per damage dealt[4]) 1,049,335/4= slayer exp (every 4 damage dealt, you recieve 1 slayer exp) You will recieve (APPROXIMATELY) 262,333.5625 slayer exp on your quest to 99 defence. Add 262,333 to your current slayer exp and see what level that is.
  23. 1:4 on average The only monsters that don't are things like Tarn Razorlor, Monstrous Cave Crawler etc...
  24. Most monstes give 1 slayer exp for every hitpoint they have, and you get 4 def exp every time you do 1 damage.
