  1. Which you have 15 minutes to complete and can't do lever or emote rooms in.
  2. Doesn't the Salve amulet (e) not stack with a Slayer helm?

Bosses are supposed to be a challenge.
  4. So Guardian's Wards are great for leechers who like to run around randomly. K. If you don't want Hitpoints XP you can still key a dungeon quite effectively (sub 20mins) provided you have a decent team. All it means is you can't do any GDs or kill the boss, you can still open skill/key doors, do puzzles and make pots/etc. I agree that it's not nearly as efficient as having someone who uses combat, but not everyone is willing to. Just because someone doesn't want to train Hitpoints, it doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to train Dungeoneering, and it's much more useful than having a level 3 sit in your base and make potions. By no means am I saying the ward is the most useful item in Dungeoneering, just that you shouldn't rule out its usefulness just because it doesn't fit with your playstyle. Ward would be great for Castle Wars, the only problem is you only have 4 items, so it might be best to bind grounding boots and another piece of sagittarian armour for ~10 less Magic attack when getting the flag but ~20-30 more when you have it. You'd also need people with weapons/robes/etc bound as well, so you'd have to designate roles to each of your team before the game, so they can get the neccessary binds, imagine having 10 people all playing Castle Wars, all with no weapon and ~250 Magic defence. :P
  5. It's not useful if you are intending to be as efficient as possible, although there are uses for it if you play for fun rather than attempting to maximise XP/h. I have multiple friends who have the Defence level for a Guardian's ward but don't want hitpoints XP, yet still dungeoneer. As a result, they could bind a Guardian's ward in combination with a series of other items like a sagittarian body, legs and coif for +244 Magic defence. Alternatively, you could also bind it with a combination of melee/ranged armour in order to try and have good defence against all combat styles. Obviously if you're maxed melee want the most efficient binds possible, binding a Guardian's ward isn't really worth it, but not everyone is maxed and there are hundreds of different types of pures that could make use of the shield. It is the best non body/leg mage defence item in Dungeoneering, providing you're not interested in DPS, it could make an effective bind.
  6. That's only really worth it if you have a hex though, and many players don't. :P He meant resource dunge Unless you can smuggle a hex out  Where does the multitasking bit come in then? :P Using steel titan + melee That's not multitasking any more than slaying with a cannon is, and Thai specified it was the only way to multitask a slayer task, assuming he meant the only way to do a Slayer task without wasting any time while training another skill.
  7. Your teammates should be paying enough attention to see everything that's said in the chat.
  8. IIRC, he wasn't ever the lowest level with 99 Slayer, there was a level 88 who had 99 Slayer before he did. That's only really worth it if you have a hex though, and many players don't. :P He meant resource dunge Unless you can smuggle a hex out  Where does the multitasking bit come in then? :P
  9. That's only really worth it if you have a hex though, and many players don't. :P
  10. Provided any neccessary info regarding keys or doors is in a language the entire floor understands, why does it matter if they want to talk to their friends about an irrelevant topic in a different language?
  11. Not even close to the magic defense of a leatherbody. Inb4 comment on how it gives magic defense and is a shield (It's not a practical item at all) It doesn't give - melee penalties. Plus, if you wanted magic defence and already had a body and legs, it's the best option.
  12. ^Magic defence. I'm sure there'd be people who'd bind CW-effective binds over useful DG binds if they weren't seperate though. :P Unless you intend to capture the flag, most binds would be great in Castle Wars too, assuming you have Hex, 2h, blood necklace and primal gaunts bound at 120, you'd be great at meleeing the opponent, especially as they'd only have a max of 4 defensive items. It would be interesting to see someone with a mix of primal and sagittarian bound to try and tank meleers/rangers while still not getting frozen by though. :P If it was like Tzhaar fight pits and there was a global option, I'm sure you'd often have someone with celestial top/legs/staff and a hex barraging/ranging you. :P
  13. Why do you still have requirements posted on the first page if you're not recruiting?
  14. Regarding the arguments about whether Jagex own the work put into your account, when you join RS you agree to a legally binding contract stating that: (From http://www.runescape.com/terms/terms.ws) Surely that should have more parameters, otherwise anyone who alters any data at all would be committing a crime, regardless of whether they created/owned it or not.
  15. Okay, I completely misunderstood Muggi's post, sorry about that. :P What would be nice is to have a Castle Wars option where you can only bring in runes/potions and your dungeoneering binds. Things like hoods wouldn't work, but I'm sure there'd be people who would bind celestial or sagittarian just for the minigame. Would be very fun as people would have to think hard about what they want to bring. :P
  16. Jagex really hate Elfinlocks, first the partyhat, now this. :P
  17. Because that wouldn't be at all overpowered. Imagine Castle Wars with a Guardian's ward + grounding boots and full sagittarian, or Nex with a hexhunter bow. Corp with a primal spear, etc, etc. It would make Dungeoneering essentially give out the best items in the game, making almost all other methods redundant, as well as making the current chaotics useless, why would you ever choose a chaotic crossbow over a hexhunter bow, what monster do you actually range that doesn't use magic?
  18. I'm not saying that it couldn't be or isn't a good bind for hexers, it's just not the best use of a bind slot. Similar to how people might bind primal gaunts if they don't have a blood necklace, it's not a bad bind, just not as good as the latter.
  19. Read a guide with all the exclusively warped puzzles, so that you don't slow your team down by having no idea what to do. :P
  20. I cannot recall, has Elias ever made it clear if he's aiming for 200m's all? If this is the case, and he can keep the pace he's been at, he'll be giving suomi a good run for his money. As for tezz, imho he has next to no xp in slow skills, I can't see him being a long-term contender in that sense. yeah ikr, only 200M slayer *sarcasm* Tezz: 18m fish, 20m smith, 17m mining, 19m agility, 200m slayer (okay 1 skill), 26m farming/runecrafting. and now SUOMI's turn; SUOMI: 200m fish, 200m smith, 200m mining, 200m agility, 134m slayer, 54m farming, 32m runecraft. Now tell me honestly that Tezz has lots of xp in slow skills.. Didn't think so. The point being; as stated, 'IMHO (<--- important part, don't miss it) Tezz is very unlikely to give either Elias or SUOMI a "long-term, all 200m's, run for their money.' The difference is that Tezz has the gp to max out his buyables and Suomi doesn't :P Also, since when are smithing and farming slow skills?
  21. Blood necklaces aren't even nearly as rare as hexs are, I often see Edimmu and the drop rate appears to be ~1/12. The primal plate was merely suggseted as a defensive bind as Fulco wanted a defensive bind to reduce dying, and it's arguably the best defensive bind other than a shadow silk hood.
  22. Why do people constantly question others, and are as bad as the people they question because by saying that level 90-110 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, they are acting in exactly the same way as the people that they condemn who think that level 60 Dungeoneerers cannot give advice, making them look like a hypocrite? I was merely stating that they're not high levelled themselves, and therefore calling others low levelled is ridiculous.
  23. Why are people with like 90-110 Dungeoneering calling others low levelled and using it as an excuse to invalidate their advice?
  24. I wasn't saying it was a useless bind, merely that there are both better defensive and offensive binds, a sagittarian body is kind of an inbetween item, it is average both offensively and defensively, but not amazing at either, which is why I wouldn't personally recommend binding one. I'm not denying that it has its uses, I merely don't find it as useful as the other items you could bind instead of it (in this case a blood necklace or a primal plate).
  25. Providing they don't waste time swapping, I can see no reason not to if it improves their DPS. The only difference is that there are a lot more monsters weaker to mage than melee than there are to range than melee, especially with lower tier bows/arrows and the lack of mastyx armour pieces.
