  1. I'm just wondering, what is considered good melee XP/h for F2P at 99 Attack/Strength and range XP/h at 99 Ranged? I'm trying to experiment with different methods/gear in F2p, but I have no idea what the XP rates are like so have don't know if my findings are worth anything or not. :P
  2. If you want to train as efficiently as possible (as your title suggests), the Mask of Dragith Nurn is the only F2P helmet to give positive melee attack bonuses, making it the best item for training melee. :P
  3. Overloads are used because they reboost your stats every 15 seconds. This means that even though the boost dissapears upon entrance to Daemonheim, you will be reboosted shortly after starting the dungeon. 85 Farming and 96 Summoning both have no use in Daemonheim over 84/95 respectively, save for a higher chance of higher yield and Summoning points lasting longer.
  4. 1 day without xp gains = undeniable quitting in this thread m8. No, l2 read. I said it's not a bad thing but the whole point of this thread is based on those players and obviously people will ask being how intense the race is. No one is really racing lol. Elias said multiple times he almost stands no chance on being the first to 200m all. He never even said it's his definite goal. The race is pretty much over seeing as it's obvious that Suomi will be first. If he quits (which won't happen) then you can start calling it a race. It's far from obvious, Suomi still has massive financial problems, he can't afford anywhere near all his buyables. If he doesn't get enough from donations and has to stop training to get money (or do slower methods), that will increase his time to 200M all by a lot, potentially even costing him rank 1. Saying the race is over when no one is even 3B XP yet is extremely nieve, I'm surprised at you.
  5. Did Jagex just send the same Q&A to multiple fansites? The questions were almost an exact copy of: http://runescape.salmoneus.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=350717.
  6. Something about how deflect ranged blocks 100% of the damage from the eyes on World-Gorger Shukarhazh and how if it's Defence has been ragered low enough, it's faster to kill all three eyes for higher hits could be added as well. It's ridiculous how many people I've dungeoneered with who have no idea how to kill Shukarhazh and just pray Magic and run around aimlessly. I was talking about a different boss http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Runebound_behemoth I know, I meant that a lot of people don't know how to do Shukarhazh properly, so trivia about it would be good as well. :P

  8. Wonder if it's faster than (read the description). I always thought you'd couldn't cannon there, guess I should have tried it.

It also has a much much higher level requirement than Trio. Speaking of Trio, I've asked people I know and they say it's a fairly easy boss. In turn though they say that Yk'Lagor is the hardest occult boss, but I dunno. Was replying to this:
  11. There are lots of outdated methods in the AoW that haven't been updated, so it's not always the best place to look. Cheat, you can get upwards of ~250k farm XP per day without even resorting to allotments or herbs.

Trio takes a lot less time than Kal'Ger.
  13. We're talking about binding it *with* a hex, potentially as a 4th bind. :P
  14. He's 70 Dungeoneering, do you honestly think he'll get floors in 148 or 28? 148, yes. But what's your point? Does this pertain to you in any way, shape, or form? Are you a DGS administrator, moderator, keyer, member, enthusiast, or anything of the like? No? Then kindly [bleep] off. Thanks. It's 6am and I haven't had my Cheerios yet. You're definitely looking for your Cheerios in the wrong place. Articultural, you may not share the same views as administrators and other members of DGS. That's okay. What you need to do is to attempt to understand the mentality of those in charge of this clan. DGS is not meant to be a Chaotic Collection Clan; that was not the vision in mind when the clan was shaped earlier this year. As a result, due to the ever-increasing popularity of this clan largely due to the RS Highscores, extreme stringent measures have to be on hand to ensure that we avoid the types of members who want to Dungeoneer just for a Chaotic. It is annoying, to say the least, to encounter a new name in the CC, whose first words are to the effect of "Any floors I can 148 in?" The med student guy we had earlier definitely did not help himself by coming in with that opening statement (as opposed to identifying himself as a TIF member), nor did he help his own image with the post he made in this thread earlier. We've taken in all kinds of people, not only from TIF, but some others talent spotted from 148, 3BO, and so on. With the Clan Citadel update looming (ha) ever closer, we have to tighten our recruitment and CC procedures to make sure only players we deem teachable, who have long term Dungeoneering goals, get to make use of the expertise of our other members. There's leeway for newer members open to learning and criticism, but to those who come here looking to go on with their Chaotic hunt or prima donna attitude, we've already run out of patience in dealing with them long ago. My point is that expecting people not to use world 117 at 70 Dungeoneering is ridiculous, as other worlds attempting to enforce 90/105+ requirements, meaning unless they have a clan or perm team (in which case they wouldn't need DGS), there is little other choice for them. I understand completely that you want people who actually want to train Dungeoneering in your clan, rather than those just in it for the rewards, but if you have a problem with people using world 117 then put it in your guidelines, having rules which aren't clearly stated isn't going to help anyone. Bow, according to his earlier post, merely said "Hello guys, I'm looking for a dg team :), which isn't against your guidelines. I'm not saying that it was the best way to introduce himself, but asking him if he had read the guidelines/etc. would have worked better than kicking him. Creating an inaccessible and anti-new members image for your clan will only be detrimental in the future, if you don't want to help newer players starting out with Dungeoneering, you should seriously consider why this topic is in the Help & Advice forum, and whether it would be better suited in a Clan recruitment/discussion forum instead.
  15. His hiscores, incase anyone wants to see:
  16. People pay 20M for +2 strength legs. Yet I see people at the G.E. whining that the whip vine is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE to justify the +2 strength bonus it gives. When I tell them that tassets are only +2 strength and are 20M they tell me it's totally different. When I tell them the vine whip doesn't even take up an equipment slot they tell me to STFU. Substitute availability? Since there are no other item that gives str bonus in ring slot or leg slot, so hardcores (or the one who can afford expensive stuffs) have to wear those for high level monsters. Chances are they will still be in favour using chaotics than vine whip for high levels monsters. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=10467

  18. If the OP was worried about efficiency, why would they be at rock lobsters in the first place?
  19. Sorry for the late reply, I've got some pictures of Sagaie hits from earlier. Tried out Bolas in Castle Wars too, it's amazing. Freezes people for 20 seconds (10 if they're praying ranged) and its accuracy is based on your ranged attack + the opponent's range defence. As a result, if you have a barrager and someone with Bolas on your team, people stand almost no chance as they can't have high Magic defence and high Ranged defence at once. A friend of mine who's really into Castle Wars hated them when he first heard about them, but now that he's tried using them, he loves them. It's nice to finally have a reliable, repeatable way of freezing without Magic too (ZGS is once per 60%, Jade bolts are ridiculously unreliable and only freeze for 5 seconds), I can see it being extremely useful for bosses like Zilyana and PvP, especially in conjunction with the vine whip or Sagaie, where you don't want your opponents to move. :P I'm pretty sure 500 is possible without void on Mutated Males, I hit 490+ three times but didn't manage a 500. Obviously, you'd hit higher with void or ontask with a focus sight, but I didn't try with either. :P
  20. Tipisi (and others) are researching whether it would be worth it to do c6 smalls instead of larges for the best xp/h.
  21. Yes -- back on topic +1: I am curious if the new whip might have benefits as a PKing weapon. I haven't seen the actual "special" in effect yet, so I am merely speculating ... Throw a Bolas then spec with the new vine whip? :P Probably better just to use claws or korasi's though.
  22. Darkdude98, it does hit multiple targets if you're in a multi-combat area. Maybe you should try it out before spreading rumours, rather than complaining about others doing the same thing. :P
  23. I'm sure working on the biggest free-to-play MMORPG in human history would sound impressive on your CV. :P
