I used protect against magic and he only used his stop attack sometimes. When I turned on protect from melee he got enraged and starting doing a lot of damage to me. He didn't get enraged when I used protect against range.

The quest guide atm says: it does say you can't protect from his melee attacks and to pray against magic. Imo that should be enough, I don't think there is any need to warn against praying against melee attacks.

Extremely doubtful because jagex clearly stated their intentions for effigies weren't to be horded. Though I would love to see a sequel to the dragon kin storyline. I kinda mean it in the sense you need say 5 effigiess to summon/fight/whatever some monster/access some area and since you can only have 5 at one time people are more likely to use them as they get them now and it is harder to get effigies now so it could play into it?

I'm not sure if anyone thought of this or not, but couldn't the effigy nerf be something to do the Dragonkins and some further story with them? When you use a dragonkin lamp you get told "As you focus on your chosen memories, you feel a burning malevolence in the back of your mind. You have gained new insight into [skill]... but at what cost?" It could mean something will be done with that now?

It's not really shut down though is it? Granted all you can do is upload and download files if they are yours and you have to login as well. Uploaded.to has stopped American users from using the site as well.

Well, whether the sites are guilty of hosting pirated material is for the courts to decide. They're innocent until proven guilty at least. And AFAIK, MU always was really damn good about complying with the DMCA. You can't control what users upload, but you can certainly control what can be removed. I think that is part of the reason, MU apparently only removed the link to the file and not the file itself.
