I'm now forced to wonder if wins on the Novice boat count towards the boots. Or, maybe, if they don't stack with Veteran boat wins... I've been keeping meticulous record of my wins and am now slightly above 550 combined, 330 of those from the Veteran boat, when the average is supposedly 500. I click through the dialogue, of course. They say it's luck-based, but we know by now that that's not true in the general RS sense, or people might get pieces after just a few games, same as other drops. I'm still going but this is getting slightly ridiculous. I guess my revised question is, Has anyone here gotten the boots from Novice boat wins?

From the pictures thread. So if you can't stand P2P FoG and want to make progress towards gloves while trying to find a fc/cc, you can just take out newbies on F2P worlds. The fc I used used the same world so it does no good to tell you it if no one's there anymore :(

Novice boats are great. You see, playing alongside bots isn't bad if they actually do something, and on Novice Boats the bots have reflexes as good as my own. They actually attack the portals. They actually attack the Spinners. They don't attack the Splatters! I should add also that the pests do so little damage the Void Knight almost never dies (has only one time in like 150 games) and there are many many boats going out on 144. I wish I'd done this from the start because I think I would've had enough points at the end anyway (for, say, another Elite set, which I already got and more from my time on Vet boats)... Still don't have boots but this is a workable solution.

The message on the left is what is displayed when I click the book now. You also get an animation and message every 50 you cremate, which I'm not sure appeared prior to the update.

They all look very nice except the helmets and colors lol... Any chance you can retake them in highest graphic settings though? Doesn't need to be with stats this time, however.

I don't want to sign up for a clan if it requires commitment... If it wasn't obvious I'm pretty much going for boots and that's it. Are there none I can just like quickchat my combat level and play with for a little while? At the moment I've gone through 120+ worlds and 144 and have an extra set of elite void and all 3 helmets so I'll probably try out novice. Does novice give the same chance at boots as the higher boat does? Because I don't think veteran boat takes longer than 2 min either if you find a decent world...

It's about as simple as the title really. I need somewhere that people actually try. I hate soloing portals and losing 1/3 games on 144 or waiting 5 min for a game on an exclusive 120+ world...

I actually haven't tried killing them since maxing... :[ Pages are crashing hard unfortunately!

New location and weapons make it easier and more profitable to max kills. These are actually only from 350 burns. There were many many alches unaccounted for, probably several hundred thousands. Most of the runes are from the actual killing part... As of this post, the page itself and Torstols haven't sold, but everything else has. This is far more productivity than I usually get done on RS! :D

It's mostly right now, with only your clan banner thing covering Missingno's avatar, lol. About to check how many burns I have and go test max with stakes :D... I think my tree was yellowish white by the way.

TBH this... Kuradal has the passion of avenging her father coursing through her veins along with a fury that hell hath no... So... I'd rather not lose Kuradal as well :( I still want a storyline quest involving the hierarchy of the slayer guild and the 'toes' Duradal supposedly stepped on to make enemies in the guild, like they hinted to in WGS/talking with Kuradal. Getting the Slayer Guild itself would be nice... And following up minigame improvements with skill guild improvements would've been even nicer... :(

I don't even know what to do. Maybe Ourania RCing... And hopefully Summoning with whatever charms I have in my bank at the moment.

Having the same problem but I can read most of it at least. Why is your tree pink lol?? Thanks for the gif by the way. Now I really wanna try this... But with 99 Ranged, Rigor, ext and Void!! And I'm sure if I burned 500 the damage would be even more massive. Possibly 400-500 at 7-speed? Now if only they had actual drops...

Basically agree with this. You're probably well aware that Nex -> Hybrid is trading the LP boost (400lp bonus from a set) for 15% damage. Reviewing them briefly, the relevant stats are quite close in comparison, IE Torva's melee defense is very similar to Vanguard or BattleMage, Virtus' magic attack is very close to Battlemage or Trickster. The only significant deviation I found was that Torva's ranged defense is 359 for the set while Vanguard/Trickster is only 150. They do have specific advantages and disadvantages though, such as in Castle Wars you can still get the 15% boost but miss out on 66LP from the helm, or such as how you can wear any three pieces of Nex gear and get the full LP bonus but (as far as we know) cannot mix and match Hybrid gear and still get the 15%, although that may be subject to change. Is there a particular minigame you were thinking of?

How are Spectrals? I was thinking about buying one for looks lol... Surely they're going down because of SC shields/BXPW?

Updates look mostly teriffic although I'm saving up loyalty points, but I swear they said there would be new prayers at some point down the line? I was seriously hoping for ranged and magic turmoils... Edit probably sound whiny But everything is done right so it's more like a "nod, mmhmm, good," rather than gushing OVER THIS AWESOME FREAKING QUEST I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about it, I don't know what stops me from turning on my PS3, going to the internet browser, downloading java, and playing RS. I have to think I probably tried at at least some point though...

How about you create a huge comprehensive pack of the lore, unique character designs, and (minus pillars) decent storylines RS is credited for, and let someone develop it into a 1st or 3rd person design that actually belongs on a console?
