I think it was muggi who pointed out that mahatma used to risk millions while pking and so if he can do it then why not us. The thing is that back when mahatma was pking, he knew that he'd get the items dropped by his opponent, he was guaranteed a decent drop, with the new system you don't know what you're going to get and you're going to need alot more kills per death to cover your losses when you die.

This is one of the most idiotic updates I've ever seen Jagex implement. Jagex say they want to get us more involved with how the game will be going forward and yet they introduce updates like this without even asking what we think. Not only that but they don't even have the courtesy to explain why they have made this update.
First of all, to all those who think that this update has nerfed pvp tricking, you're all very wrong. All you need do is stand in level 1 wilderness in a bounty hunter world with your 75k and you're set, there aren't even going to be the dclaw rushers about to attack you. When it comes to using your ep, alot of people already did 76k tricks rather than 26k and even if they didn't, the money gained from tricking more than compensates the extra 50k you have to use per trick.
Also, multi pking is now going to be far less interesting than it was before because nobody will be bringing claws/godswords or even whips anymore because other clans will call a pile on you the second they see you're risking alot. Although I can live with this (the only thing I'll change in my personal multi setup is to downgrade from a dragon square shield to a rune kite) wars will be much less interesting and people will stop attending and potentially quit.
Single pking is also going to change for the worse. The vast majority of people will stop bringing godswords/claws/full dharok into battle and alot more will stop bringing cheaper items like the whip/statius warhammer/vesta longsword because each death will cost so much. This is just going to lead to alot of people running around with their dragon daggers and scimitars which is going to take the thrill out of pking.
Although alot of people are saying that PVP worlds are supposed to be dangerous and that it's sensible that you risk all your items, you're not realising that people play runescape for fun, and without taking decent weapons with them, pking will not be fun and people will stop playing altogether. Look at it this way, if the average value of a drop is around 1.5m and you're taking your AGS to pk with, taking the value of an AGS to be 80m, you would have to kill more than 50 people per death just in order to break even.
I like the autoskull feature but the removal of the protect item prayer is like not allowing people to protect from range when they go to armadyl godwars or use an antifire shield when fighting the KBD.

Speaking from experience, tassets are defintely not worth the money unless you have pretty much every other item you want. I'd wait until they crash in price before you even consider buying them.

I've recently obtained a pair of cookery brawlers and I wondered what would be the best cookery experience at my level (83). I plan to cook in level 1 wilderness in a bounty hunter world so I'll be getting 4x the usual experience. Thanks :)

There is a surprising lack of decent armadyl guides on tif and I don't think any of them really focus on soloing. With your stats you will be able to solo kree and maybe get 2 or 3 kills per trip. I've never solo'd so I don't know what supplies to take but in terms of gear, you want to keep both ranged attack and magic defence as high as possible. Melee defence is hardly needed as kree rarely melees (run under him when u need to eat/pot) and the melee minion does very little damage. Off the top of my head i would suggest the following:
God coif
Fury(arma pendant for kc)
Karils top>dhide
Karils skirt>dhide
Regular spirit shield
Snakeskin boots
Black vambs
Accumulator
Rune cbow with broad bolts for kc/minions and ruby/diamond for kree (swap from ruby to diamond when kree reaches half hp)

Iron dragons are weak to stab attacks and so you should use a leaf-bladed sword to deal most damage and use a weapon with a stab attack for special attacks. If you don't like the dds then you could probably use a dragon longsword.
In case you're really very rich, the vesta's longsword would theoretically be the best weapon for it's special attack vs iron dragons.

I can't find any quantitive values for how much the iron/ice/moss titan's special move heals you. I imagine it heals a certain percentage of your maximum health, could anyone tell me what percentage this is (or correct me if I'm wrong).

Depends, not worth it to train your magic but if you're in a clan war or something then it's very useful.

Yeah, I've been quite alot recently and he only uses his melee attack when he's not being attacked, but I've never seen him hit 40+ with any of his attacks (apart from the time my teammate forgot to turn protect from range on).
So nobody has any idea about drop rates? I think I heard that kree dropped armour 1/100 kills and a hilt 1/150 but I'm guessing that this might be a little optimistic?

Pretty good but I think some of the armour suggestions were a bit misleading. The most important thing at armadyl is high ranged attack bonus and high magic defence bonus. With this in mind, the armadyl helm would be better than the zamorakian coif which would be better than the verac's helm. The prayer bonus from the verac helm really doesnt make up for the ranged attack/magic defence bonus lost. Also, I know that not many people have them but the elysian/divine/spectral spirit shields are far better than the dragonfire shield. Infinity boots and even snakeskin boots are better than bandos/dragon boots for the same reason as above.

Firstly, what are the drop rates of the armour and hilt from both Kree and his minions?
Also, in the bestiary article, it says that Kree can hit up to 50 with melee, is this really true? I've spent alot of time with my hp under this level and hearing that he could easily KO me is kinda scary, can anyone confirm?

Yeah, there is no mention of the touchpad, just 2 instances of 'HID compliant mouse' and 1 of 'PS/2 compatible mouse'. Now that we've found the problem, how do I go about fixing it?

I believe there is a lunar spell that heals someone else by sacrificing some of your own hp. Also, things like the duel arena heal you when you fight someone (but that's a little obscure). Saradomin brews are not technically classed as 'food' either :)

OK, basically the touchpad on my laptop is no longer responding when I try to move the cursor or click anything, I have to use my mouse. I was wondering if there was any chance that this could be due to a problem with software which I could fix myself rather than having to send it back to the manufacturer to be repaired.
My laptop is a fugitsu siemens amilo, it runs vista, has 2mb RAM and an intel centrino duo processor. It's about a year and 2 months old. Can anyone help me? If you have any questions, please ask and I'll answer them as quickly as possible.

Firstly, in pvp, it can be used to push people into multicombat areas. Also, while pking in multicombat with a clan or in clan wars, if alot of people spear someone, they can't heal as quickly and it helps get a quick kill. In castle wars it also has alot of uses, spearing people when the flag drops and also to slow down mages/scorers. No use against monsters that I know of though.

Why would you want a tie castle wars world? :? Castle wars is about fun, not about collecting tickets. And since the tickets only allow you decorative armour with horrific defence bonuses what's the point?

As much as I hate to promote people camping at abyssal demons:
Neitznot
Fire cape
Fury
bandos > barrows top
bandos > barrows bottom
whip
rune defender
dragon boots
barrows gloves
zerker/wealth (makes little difference)
Take a few bunyips and a few pure sets and that's all you need really.

Other than the official worlds, no other servers will have games on so unless you can play with a few friends, just check all the themed worlds and hopefully you'll find a fairly busy world.
Less crowded worlds are better if you want to learn how to play castle wars proplery without getting pked all the time though.

Bandos top is only marginally better than guthan for slayer and I would definitely not say that it's one of the first things you should buy. DFS has a lot of practical uses and is better than the blessed spirit shield unless you're planning to do alot of ranging/maging with it or require the prayer boost it gives. I advise the DFS + guthan top because I think the defensive bonuses outweigh the loss of offensive bonuses.
