The "positives', in this situation, only go up to 10 though, since we're rating it.

In addition, don't we also need "Spec restore pots?" If these would come into being, they would obviously have to be priced highly so that people coulden't abuse them.

This was back before runescape was well-known, it was a minor game back then; this means the people who played it really liked it. Now it (the players) have changed, so Jagex has the change with them to keep it a fair game for some people.

I always thought it was location that determined at what age you would go mad and when you'd be sane again... Yay for me I'm wrong again. Yeah, I know several of those types of people. Any type of a cape would only protect you better if the attacker attacked from the back, therefore the defence of capes would never be high.
