There used to be a guide on this in the AoW. Not sure what happened to it. I'd be interested in comparing the XP rates of using a Yak vs. using a combat familiar. Does the extended trip time from a yak compensate for the lost bonus XP from a combat familiar? I train melee on the skeles there as well, but I use elite void + rapier since it's much more AFK (don't have to worry about selecting the ones w/ the highest HP). It's about 160k XP/hour with 90 melees. Do you have any idea what the xp/hr difference is between using a soul wars cape and the +8 str cape? Prayer drains really fast down there when you have to use dharoks :\ with a yak I can use prayer pots to last for 5 overload(4). I used an iron titan for a bit but it really cuts the trip short (even when I tried with sw cape), and adds maybe only 30k xp per hour (in defence), really not worth it because of how short your trips are made. also when I actually get a rapier Ill compare exp rates with that. I mostly afk and don't bother clicking on highest hp ones and still get great xp/hr

ok? runescape is more popular than I thought.

best melee method I found, blisterwood may be faster not entirely sure, though for the normal person prob better do to this due to time it takes to get the blisterwood fully upgraded

I recently made the call to 'ruin' my tank, found the best way currently is too dh with overloads in ape atoll, doesn't require rapier either which is a plus. Found it is defiantly worth it to get att/str up.

Like I said before, it wouldn't be long until anyone would be able to do this, surprised it was this short but remember when corp beast was released as an unsoloable monster? Sadly it really is impossible to do this one an account with 1 prayer, the wave with 4 level 400 mages would just be impossible :P, dealing with 1 was hard enough.

it is fairly accepted as fact that a monsters combat level gives its effigy rates, someone had a nice chart somewhere.

Killing bots a few times makes no difference, if you set a bot back an hour by pking it repeatedly it is going 12-24 hours a day, so doesn't do anything. The bot owners probably didn't even notice you killing them.

Currently I am in the process of powerleveing my stats to max melee in the shortest time possible, I also want to get Goliath gloves at some point. Was wondering do people think it would be worth it to wait before killing the 500 bosses, or do you not think it will matter too much, jagex has stated that they are going to be making the tower give more competitive xp rates. Also I do not have a rapier yet, I will be getting one at some point, maybe before I do the tower if I wait for the update, perhaps making the tower bosses go by quicker.
