Call of Duty: World at War
I've gained like 3k kills since I was able to prestige again, but I don't want to lose my PPsh, Mosin Nagant, Kar98k and M1A1 Carbine.

Well, we all knew the MP40 was more powerful, but the PPsh gets more of a benefit from using stopping power than the MP40. This reduction in benefit with the MP40 can be seen by the amount of people using juggernaut, which negates stopping power. So it's a harsh circle, but not that hard to beat.

The Drum Magazine is much more useful, mainly because of the PPsh's amazingly fast fire rate and it's low power, it's one of the few weapons where perks and attachments really (and I mean by a lot) improve it. For example, Stopping power will take around 2 bullets from an MP40 to kill someone not using juggernaut, whereas it would normally be 3. The PPsh takes around 5 to kill someone not using juggernaut, and 3 with stopping power. Thats 33% for the MP40, 40% for the PPsh.

I prefer the M1 Carbine's iron sights, which oddly is the only gun that I prefer the iron sights on (except the PPsh, but with steady aim, you don't exactly need to aim down the sights).

I was only joking  I'm currently trying to get the extended clip for the M1A1 Carbine. I was using the aperture sight for it, but it sucks.

Muzzle velocity of WW2 rifles is between 2,100 feet and 2,800 feet per second. A WW2 MG42 has a muzzle velocity of 2,477 feet per second, the difference between that and a rifle is unnoticeable to the human eye. Anyway, the only way to really detect these differences is with targets over 2 kilometres away, which most bullets with lose momentum before that distance, and would just drop and tumble. If the difference was 1,000 feet per second, it would be very noticeable when compared to a bullet traveling at 2,000 feet per second (especially is the distance was over 1,000 feet). Basically, the MG42 does pump out bullets that travel as fast as rifles in real life.

Wizard Korvak
I died while runecrafting (this is another story), so I go and get the pouches back. I buy a large pouch from Wizard korvak, and then I try to buy a giant pouch, but I can't. The dialogue for repairing/buying pouches has disappeared. I know this has happened to other people before, so can anyone tell me how to be able to buy a Giant pouch from this failure.

It's not weird. Most Video Playing programs use Hardware overlay, where a background of a certain colour gets the video projected onto. It will stay in the same position the window was in, regardless of it's layer and whether it is minimized. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardware_overlay- Need Opinions
Since it's a fairly small thing, you just get your name engraved onto a cup, but entry is free, and it gives me a chance to see local talent.- Call of Duty: World at War
I've been killed from across the map on Cliffside by someone with an MG42, but to be fair, he wasn't in my sights.- What's your favourite under-rated band (or song)?
You have the wrong thread, this is for under-rated bands.- Call of Duty: World at War
I Don't. PPsh and STG are (most likely) my most used guns. I have used the MP40 a bit, mainly when I run out of the 20 bullets the bolt action rifles give me run out, and on rarer occasions, when I run out of ammo for the PPsh.- What's your favourite under-rated band (or song)?
You can name indie bands.- Call of Duty: World at War
Best Kill streaks everyone? Mine is 31.- Need Opinions
Due to the general opinions of everyone who has posted (Which I value greatly), I will try to get another (better) photograph with a 'proper' (I say proper, but I mean a Digital Compact, which isn't so bad since the image only needs to be 5x7, and I can post-process it anyway) camera. If I am unable to get a better photograph, then I'll use the edited one above as a fall-back. It's only a small local competition, and the best thing about entering isn't winning, it's the judges giving critique on your work.- Need Opinions
The original size is 1600x1200, interpolated with Photozoom Pro 2 to 3200x2400, although I'm not intending to print it at any size above 5x7, for the exact reason of it's quality being pretty crap.- Need Opinions
You have to put bumblebee in your post so that I know you've read it. Too many people only read a part of a post, and therefore don't get the full picture. I do know that the noise was caused by me taking the picture with my phone... And it wouldn't be far easier to take a new shot, as the shot relies on the clouds to be 'interesting'. Since I have other commitments (college and other things), I'm limited to the weekend, one day of which will be spent buying frames, and the other will be Father's day. Then, next week after is the day the image has to be submitted.- Need Opinions
Thanks for your opinion. I would put a bumblebee in, but it'd be too small to see and easy to miss :ohnoes:- Need Opinions
I'm entering a local competition, which is to take the best picture of the Ashdown Forest (for those that don't know what/where it is, think of pooh bear and you get the idea). Anyway, this image was taken on my phone, and shows a lot of noise and artifacts which couldn't be removed by noise reduction. Instead, I went the noob route and made the sky one colour. However, it doesn't look as bad as you think because the image seems to lack intermediate greys (besides the sky and some of the cloud). The final image only needs to be printed on 5x7 sheet, so if you think I should stick with the original, then say so. This is not a critiscism of my photography skills, if you actually read this post, put the word 'bumblebee' in your post, nor is it actually on the image. I just want to know whether you think the editing would be noticeable (though the judge will not have seen the original, which I can factor in) on a 5x7 print. Thanks in advance. The original has a watermark for some reason, which can be removed with ease, so don't worry about that. [hide=Original][/hide] [hide=Edit][/hide]- Best Song Covers EVER!
