  1. I use Symantec Endpoint. My Uncle has a business that has 4 computers, so he bought a 5 user license and gave me the last user license. It's a very nice antivirus, I'd recommend it to any business/single user.
  2. I can try to simplify it for you. An ISO File is literally the disc 'image', it's an archive that contains all the files from the disc, in their proper folders. Daemon tools is a drive emulation tool. By that, I mean that it 'creates' drives on your computer which act like proper CD/DVD drives, to which you can 'mount' the ISO file into.
  3. And no, you wont be able to do it. Your HP will be taken away too fast, and you will die (I'm talking about the Monkey archers, not including the rest of quest).
  4. URL: http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/2585/auyy4nv.png To the question I was asked, I use photoshop to clone the background, delete the previous background (I do this because the original background is locked, so a lot of editing cannot be done), then use the 'Magic Wand Tool' to select large amounts of white space to remove (With Anti-Alias turned off. If you keep it on, the edges of the character will fade), then just save it, and it keeps it's transparency.

  7. quite a few people play more than 8 hours a day, in order to get the most out of the money they spent on playing the game. If Jagex were to limit the time that they could play, they wouldn't be very happy. Also, since the month/3 months/year/whatever you pay for isn't based on time you actually play the game, it would be rather imposing on players who wish to milk their money and time as much as possible. I do have a sort of addiction, where I'll play quite a lot depending on the day, but I do other things (one example being photography). As mentioned by others, you pay to play the game however you want, not by restrictions imposed by the developer.
  8. [hide=Manipulated][/hide] [hide=Unmanipulated][/hide] Both images have been resized. Edit: Oops, just realised I have to PM it, oh well.
  9. I said that I used Juggernaught and PPsh to combat MP40 + stopping power. I only use MP40s when I run out of ammo (always an MP40 lying on the ground in TDM)
  10. actually i already have 99 defence, going for 200m defence xp ;) Oh, good luck with that then XD
  11. I would train slayer, if I actually liked it. I will eventually train it though.
  12. Thanks. I tried to deliberately avoid putting strength in the title. Ending with the nub 99's is also good as it allows me to get it on F2P, which means a bigger party :D Though obviously, it is going to take a long time (I reckon about a year to get to 2250 total, which is probably being generous, and two-three years for max total, if I make it that far).
  13. Got my 8th 99 today (Strength). I didn't intend to finish off my melee stats, but due to college, I was forced to change to a skill that I can do while revising. This got me max melee, and now I am focusing on the buyables (after I have finished runecrafting). Then, I used the Tip it calculator to work out what I would need to get 132 combat, to my surprise, it was either 1 prayer level or 2 summoning levels, since I didn't have the charms, I got the prayer level and 132 combat. And finally, my full stats: Now, I'm going to work on Runecrafting. Once I reach 99, I intend to continue making natures until I can get 99s in at least 3 of: Smithing, Herblore, Prayer, Farming and Construction (based on prices now without the use of sc tools, the cheapest 99s would be Smithing, Construction and Farming, totalling to around 188mil). Then, If I have the inclination to keep making natures, make enough money to buy the other buyables (in the list above). The move onto the non-buyable decent skills (Hunter, Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, Slayer). From Slayer, I should have the charms for 99 summoning, which should leave me with 4 skills left to get to 99; Thieving, Firemaking, Fletching and Cooking. Wish me luck. Rate/Hate.
  14. I've used it before many times... It's worked perfectly.
  15. This is a wild stab in the dark, and I don't recommend trying it if you think you can mess something up, but if you got the notebook from a business or school (as suggested by the Novell login), then the Boot Device Priority may be set to load the HDD as it's first priority. You'll need to access your BIOS and change the boot order to CD-ROM first and your HDD second. This may not work for you, but it has worked with some people that I know.
  16. Yes you can, but you need the installation disc, which you said that you don't have.
  17. He could use Ubuntu, or any other version of Linux. I've never used Linux, but I guess it's the best free OS he can get.
  18. When it says 'insert system disk in drive' it means that you need to insert a disk that has an installable operating system, therefore, a recovery disk will do nothing. You could probably get away with Ubuntu if I'm honest. That's usually what people call a recovery disk. :P That's not what I've been told to call it by many people, and the internet. I stand corrected.

  20. Or you can use Darik's Boot N Nuke, which will format your hard drive. Here is the site: http://www.dban.org/

  22. Yes, you are right. There isno point buying an adapter higher than what your wireless router is capable of.
