  1. I had an Iron Dragon Task a While ago and only got a few rune items and some runes. My brother was watching me and told me to kill one more, so I did and I got a Dragon Plateskirt. Fair enough it wasnt platelegs, but still, free 160k pl0x.
  2. and the fact that a guy posted the guide in the Player-made guides money making section. This is the guide: and your own reply to this guide? So why did you mention about buying wool in what you said. Plagiarism gets you no where. The price of Mind runes, Body runes and fire runes seem to be determined (Price Wise) by the cost of an uncut onyx (much like obsidian equipment). So buy buying say 40k a day, you arent making a dent on the many people selling these runes to the tzhaar rune shop for tokkul. OVer 20million of those runes get sold everyday. 40k is nothing. Not only did you quote exact figures from the other guys guide, your estimate of 40k a day is wrong as well. you can buy 25k of all runes every 4 hours. 25,000 x 6 = 150,000 per day.
  3. The cc you may want to check is Crafters99 Most of the people in there will have 99 crafting or 90+.
  4. Pyramid Plunder is quite fast and I hear blackjacking is good also. these methods are definitely more effective. Pyramid Plunder can be profitable because of the chance to obtain a Pharoah's Sceptre. Although, having not done Blackjacking before, I do not know whether profit is obtained. The Sorceresses' garden is not that good a way of obatining xp as It requires much more concentration.
  5. Nah, highest crafting in F2P is Diamond amulets at lvl70. He may have been banned from the forums which would mean that he couldnt use them. Unfortunately I'm only 88 so I cant be of help.
  6. You could spin flax which shouldnt take too long, and will make you profit. Otherwise, just make the best bracelet you can and alc it for mage xp as well.
  7. The God Robes you get from Treasure Trails have good prayer bonus, but it is lower than monk robes.
  8. This is happening. Jagex set the maximum and minimum for each object, but the object can go up and down between those limits. For example, things that's market price is also it's highest price means that the item has reached it's highest value that has been set by Jagex. This could apply to Water runes (Market price and highest price is 16gp each). If an item's market price is also it's lowest price, that is the lowest value that it can go down to which has been set by Jagex. For example, when I was doing Barrows, Blood runes dropped to 275gp each. And they didnt go below that. If they could, they would have. Also, Spirit Terrorbirds are sitting at 326gp market price, and lowest price. Yet you can easily buy them for that. Which shows that Jagex are trying to minimise potential profit from those items.
  9. Grats on All the achievements so far. Keep going. Awesome account. Shame about the dfs. 9.5/10. 10/10 when you get 2376 total.
  10. hmm. I did post a picture, let me try imageshack. It wasnt working for me earlier.
  11. I know this probably doesnt warrant a thread but I thought I would post an achievement which is fairly decent. As you can probably guess, I want 99 crafting :D EDIT: imageshack still isnt working, so I'll post the link to it. http://www.imagehostingsite.com/images/ ... vtyjzn.png Rate/Hate/Debate
  12. Currently I have 74 crafting. I am wondering what would be the fastest way to 99 crafting with spending less than or equal to 30mil. any help would be appreciated.
  13. Based on the argument in the earlier pages, I would like to point out that pretty much every skill is buyable. The only skills that are truly 'unbuyable' are: Attack, Strength, Defense, Hitpoints, Agility, Thieving, Mining, Fishing, Slayer, Woodcutting and Hunter. All the others can be bought. So does that mean that they deserve less respect. I mean, you have to have the patience to get the money and then actually buy the items, then you still have to use those items to get the xp. For example, you have to get the cash for construction. Say you were making oak larders. You would need about 80-100mil, then you would have to buy the oak planks (which may take a while considering G.E limits). Then you have to run back and forth between a bank and your house to actually make the larders. The only skillcapes I think aren't as good as the others are fletching and cooking. The rest I think are good achievements.
  14. Oops. I forgot to rate. 9/10. 10/10 if you sell me your 3rd age range armour at trade price :D
  15. Awesome you got it back, and better than ever. I might do the tiara/talisman ways to lvl to 60/70 rc. Good guide, covers pretty much everything for F2P runecrafting.
  16. you could do some more merchanting (or whatever you do to make money) and get 2.147bil in your bank and inventory. Although, that would take a rather long time. 2.1bil/10
  17. I would say something like set yourself a goal of say, 60+ in all stats. Shouldn't be too hard to achieve and means you'll be training different skills quite quickly.
  18. I think the only thing different about them is that Blessed has a coif? apart from that they have the same stats.
  19. Tears of Guthix is a good idea. Get as many quests done as you can so you can stay there for as long as possible. Harralander tar is cheap xp (and quite good xp to be honest). It costs about 8mil to get from level 50 to 70.
  20. if you get something like a black cane from a treasure trail, you could sell that for about 3-4mil with junk. However, things like animal masks need lots of junk to be sold with. Right now, a wolf mask sells for less than a mil on the G.E, but in a trade it can sell for 25mil.
  21. If you are trying to store cash in the G.E, which I think you are trying to do, find an item that is going up, put loads of offers on it for lowest, then wait until the market price changes. If you have an offer on when this happens, none of the items will come through. Items that dont sell on the G.E would be Animal Masks, Black Canes (Rarely, but might get one some time), Party Hats or 3rd age armour (except the mage robes).
  22. It was a fallacy made by Fook-A-Ji to scam people off of their gems in Runescape Classic. He would tell people about the secret underground farm and how you needed to use a cut gem on a certain tree in Lumbridge swamp. When it didnt work, Fook-A-Ji would ask if he could have the gem and try it with that. On an unrelated note, this is what gave Andrew (or Paul Gower, I cant remember which) Gower the idea for the Lost City quest.
  23. The Method of buying bagged plants for farming xp results in fast (if not fastest) farming xp. But this comes at a price, getting from 50 farming to 99 using bagged magic trees costs 2,904,150,000gp. Vinesweeper is pretty good xp, and if you know what you are doing, sorceresses' (dont know how to spell it) garden is a decent way to get farming xp.
  24. The karamja gloves take the tokkul requirement down to 258k tokkul, each chaos gives 9 tokkul, so 258,000 / 9 = 28,667 (rounded up). At trade price that costs 2,866,700gp.
