Nah, you just need to be a lucky little blighter when killing any of the scroll droppers. True, you need to get very lucky, and tbh, I didnt think about it being a drop until I saw it. Epic win for me. Tried DKS for the first time ever, just brought some sharks and some prayer potions, got down, mage'd Rex (with supreme on me : ), and lookie thar: My first kill, of my first trip, solo.

Thanks, and the only thing this was, was a test run kinda, didn't even expect one kill. I've had a look at Brainymidget's guide, and the next time I'll know what to do : (And yes, I got only kill because I tele'd after this drop)

First trip, anyone? No really, I had no clue what to do (except for some guides), so got rex on me early with mage pray on (I only had sharks with me ><) But yeah, I am so doing more DKS, gonna try hybriding soon.

I dunno, this might not seem like a lot, but to me it is. Like stated, my first ever Dagannoth Rex Kill, on my first ever trip, soloing w/o a suicider. I had range prayer on because Ranger-guy-whats-his-face was attacking me :-# (The full story can be found on my blog, click my sig to see it :thumbsup: ) Anyway, here it is: My final Cashpile: :twss: x over 9000 Rate.

100 Posts! And what a way to post. So I get my new Stealing Creation armour, and somehow I decide to do a solo DKS run, for the first time. (Not in that armour :-# ) So I though, why not? I get to oo'gloog, recharge everything and such, and get out 200 Slayer Darts. I actually got through the dungeon ok, and got to the ladder. I go down, and I don't get attacked by anything, so I run along the edges, and start maging. Then Whats-his-face-the-ranger-guy decides to attack me, so I put Range prayer on, and manage to get Dagannoth rex in a safespot. I kill him, for the first time ever, and what do I see? The remaining inventory spots were sharks, and they got eaten while trying to get Rex into a safespot. Well, this is just EPIC FAIL. I got the new Volatile Tool, and it became a Pickaxe. I start mining, and what do I see? Its a Bronze Pick...FAIL
