Not really. There's a side quest for you to do later on that returns you to the Vault, but it's pretty much the same. If you've killed him now, you'll just have to deal with a new Overseer if you decide to do that quest.

Well yeah. Most of the stuff F2P received within the past little while was probably not even asked for by our community. But this debate over whether or not we should get skillcapes is getting repetitive. Everyone for argues that we work harder for the 99, and the cape itself might be dubbed down, and that there's no actual reason F2P shouldn't get them. (Really). And everyone against argues that we simply don't pay and therefor should not receive. That's it, that's their argument.

Makoto nails it. Just because you pay, it does not mean you're the high and mighty ruler. Stop looking down on us because we choose to not pay, yet want the odd update here and there.

I doubt making skillcapes F2P would be more time consuming than a new crappy P2P quest. Seriously. It's like Troacctid said, what do you guys lose? NOTHING. In fact, I'm ready to assume that Jagex would dole out a number out updates for P2P ALONG with making skillcapes F2P. They did that when they made the Party room F2P. They love sucking up to you guys. It's like you said, membership fees foot most of the bills over there. But I wouldn't go as far to say that their entirely dependent on you guys. Or that F2P is useless. It's like it's been said; F2P is a game on it's own. There are those that choose not to pay and those that want the expansion pack. But I still don't think that small barrier should be the discerning factor for whether or not we can show off our 99 skills. Because that's all the skillcapes do. That's all they would do in F2P. I doubt we'd get the emoticon, I doubt we'd get the major stat boost, I doubt we'd get the trimmed option and I doubt we'd even get the hoods.

I'm pretty sure our lack of playing is about equal ;)

Unlike Barrows armor and Godswords, Skillcapes are objects that directly display that the user has achieved Level 99 in . It's not really that we want high level equipment, but more so that we want to display our achievements. Said it like a pro. In the official debate over here, we were talking about how F2P skillcapes would be lower in stats, but still be higher than our normal ones.

+1 I see no reason F2P shouldn't get Skillcapes. But I'm good for updates right now. Though seeing how much we've gotten over the last while, I wouldn't be surprised if we got more sooner or later.

In all honesty, I'm doing a bad job at motivating him :P But go Pie! Go!

Why don't you? ;) BACK ON TOPIC! Why can't F2P have better capes? I mean there's the noob cape and then there are all those stat-less capes. Give us one slightly better? Make it a reward for something... like a new Security dungeon.

I think Jagex can decide what they want to be given to who. What if they were to give a cape similar to the 99 P2P cape? Technically it's new content, so you wouldn't be mad for "being ripped off". And we DON'T have that stance on everything. Even if we did, P2Per's would still get TONS of additional content. And updates too! You're being dramatic.

But F2Per's have been given P2P things before (like you said), and it's caused little to no relapse in subscriptions (from what I saw when they gave it to us). If people are going to stop paying just because we got skillcapes, when then they can go ahead and be babies. Are you going to stop paying to play? Do skillcapes mean THAT much to you?

You're pretty arrogant in thinking you have just cause to bash a 3 year old thread just because you walk in and see a thread of what F2Per's want. What's the point? What do you gain in making yourself look like an idiot? Your flaming is what I call "RSOF logic".
