  1. Agreed. Those who think that selling an infinite amount of a rare item at an expensive price will not cause a drop in value are wrong. The point of a rare item's price is it's exclusivity. People are willing to pay millions for a holiday rare because of the fact that it's a) rare and B) discontinued. I guarantee people won't buy a Blue Partyhat for 300mil when ANYONE and EVERYONE could eventually get one. Hell, I doubt anyone would buy one for more than 10 gp. Because as soon as everyone has the potential to get their hands on one, Partyhats, Masks and the Santa Hat become nothing more than another "Chef Hat".
  2. I agree on some type of armor that can be sought after only with maxed stats. It would give a boost to the economy for a while for everyone training more intensely towards 99's (almost like skill capes...no wait, exactly like them). Untradable items are more likely, I would think. There are enough overly expensive items on the market and we certainly don't need more of them. I also support ideas towards the possibility of item upgrades (the infamous "+1" and all that). But that's not part of the discussion topic, so.... :P

    Watchmen

I really do hope they don't change too many things in the movie. It'd really compliment the graphic novel to see it as-is, though in motion picture. The movie has already received a rating of R in many places, so why not fully replicate the graphic novel into a movie? I'd love to see those intense scenes. But whatever. My opinion will be complete when I see it, and who knows... I've seen good adaptions to novels through films, though the storyline may or may not follow the novel.
  4. Good luck on Woodcutting, it can get tedious if you don't like it :P I'm afraid I won't be paying much attention to RS as I just bought Fallout 3, and it is amazing =D Ciao.
  5. Update: I know I'm close to my 50 Runecrafting goal, but I just picked up Fallout 3 for my PS3 and I'm hooked, so I'll probably be on hiatus for a while here :P See you all later!
  6. Good point. That's a very welcome idea to me. But I still wouldn't post on RSOF, because the amount of P2Per's spaming up the F2P posts/sections would get ridiculous (yes, I can see this happening). I also support the little to no blackmarks system. If a player's been good, or if they have made a mistake or two that earned them a blackmark, they may post on the forums. All this, throw in either a playing time or 1000 total level requirement and you've weeded out the majority of the F2P noobs. Now if only they'd do this for P2P... :-k
  7. Hi Star!! Congrats on 61 Magic and 58 Smithing. Hope your foot is feeling better from the last time I talked to you :ohnoes:
  8. I find that if you concentrate on one to three goals, you can keep your bankspace pretty low. Right now I'm RCing, then I'll be mining and then maybe come more WCing. I've got a grand total of like 30 space used (Also, I'm a space Nazi). In my personal opinion, F2P does not really need more bankspace. We need some method to store our random events elsewhere, but other than that, I think we can manage. As for skill capes... Why can't they be F2P? I mean, many things that were P2P became F2P in the past.
  9. QFT: it'd be like members being able to come into F2P with their dragon hatchets, Barrows gear and what-have-you-not and have all the stat bonuses available. It'd be too unfair to F2P, as our items and stats are limited.
  10. I don't go around telling people I play generally because of the whole thought that it's a kid's game. I'm not embarrassed about it, but I don't like to be teased either :P
  11. Haha, sweet banner. Keep up the great work with your goals =D
  12. Alrighty then. And thanks for breaking out a new page on my blog guys =) It makes me feel special xD
  13. This is online gaming. People are going to be rude to you, no matter what. That being said, you could do with speaking kinder to noobs. They'll only raise your hackles by being stupid. I guess it's just me, but I have no beef with people who show up to my spot and suddenly training isn't a good as it was 10 minutes ago because I can't kill something right away. Calm down, deal with the people in the dungeons, cause it's not just you playing the game.
  14. Ah well, I've got 1.3k ess left so i might as well stick with fires =P I wouldn't mind 20,000 fire runes to sit on. Just a question though, to anyone who reads my blog. What should I craft later on when I want to start RCing again? It seems to me that everyone does airs?
  15. Always love other F2P blogs, and I must say yours is quite detailed! I love it! Keep up the great work and F2P ftw!
  16. I totally agree. Why not give members more slots whilst doing the same for F2P? I'm sure P2P would appreciate the added selling/buying boxes.
  17. That might actually be...okay. I mean...I guess sooner or later they'll run out of ideas for holiday event rewards, at which point I GUESS it'd be okay to re-introduce older ones... I dunno.
  18. I'd say go for rune if you can make a profit. Otherwise stick with addy cause you seem to be getting levels rather quickly? :P
  19. Meh. Just move to another rock? I mean, the guy's obviously a complete jerk if he's mining the rock you're mining at in the first place. Unless it's something like addy or mith... Like others have said, high levels can't always get the ore or they'd dominate mining.
  20. Just a few things. Your proposals do, in fact, take away the uniqueness and rarity that so many players enjoy with tradable holiday items. Not to mention months of work gone into making enough money for people to buy said items. They would also take away the sense of reward from players who actually did the holiday tasks. Because that's what the untradable holiday items are: rewards from being there and participating in the holiday events. I just don't think that those who weren't there or didn't bother to do the event actually deserve the items we got. There's always be plenty more holiday events and items to go along with them. Best they stop ferreting over what they don't have and look forward to what will be given to us for Easter. Also, how did your friend "decide to give it to his brother" (the hilt)? You know, the whole unbalanced trade thing...
  21. I have a hard time spending money in real life and in RS. :P Which I suppose is better than spending impulsively... Kinda the problem I have, except that I tend to sell anything and everything I'm not using at that moment, so I can always have the maximum amount of money and focus on one skill ;) I suppose when I start playing GOP, I'll be tempted to buy a set of robes :P
  22. Nice bank pic. Makes me feel like I have nothing in my bank, cause I don't :?
