I only have one problem with the Dragon Crossbow idea. I don't like how the monster that drops the pieces is exclusively for rangers. What monsters are exclusively for melee attackers? Or Magic users? If they were to release a monster like that, people would soon expect high level monsters that have high-end drops for ONLY melee users or ONLY magic users. Chaos would ensue, because then the Rangers would complain they couldn't safe-spot some level 200 monster which drops some high selling piece of armor (etc).

That I don't think is a good idea... It just takes away from our argument that ANYONE should be able to obtain a skill cape because tehy put in the effort to attain a 99 in a skill.

Anyone else care to share some highly intellectual opinions as to why F2P are such scum that they don't deserve ANY updates at all? :wall: The only reason F2P don't get updates is because they don't pay. There's no reason arguing about it or trying to deny it or suggest that Jagex need to think up more reasons why not to update F2P more often. F2P has received a lot more updates than they usually get recently, including minigames which until recently were P2P only. If you don't like not receiving updates every two weeks you have two choices, 1, Become P2P, 2, Quit. What else do you want anyone to say? Yes, we KNOW why we don't get updates. This thread isn't sitting here to discuss WHY we don't get them. CLEARLY if we wanted to get updates, we'd do what you suggest and QUIT (I mean pay :P ). We're not arguing that we SHOULD get updates, we're simply ranting about why we did not get certain items/updates that would be particularly beneficial to us. We know we should pay to get updates, but we can still rant about why we didn't get "x" object or update.

I know it's been said, but whenever they feel they have a good grasp on the game is when to make the decision. Of course, I could be a butt and say " \ NEVER!!! Muahahaha, F2P for LIFE!!! \ " ...But I won't do that... ;)

I'd just like to point out two things about your two statements. Firstly: Would they not just TELL everybody where the skill masters are to sell us the capes? I mean they already list out in detail where to find them, it's just a simple relocation and a tweak of the knowledge base. I hardly believe this is a viable point in that it would "confuse many" because they'd no doubt be able to find them again. Like everyone did the first time they were introduced. Secondly: Even if there was an uproar, how would that hinder Jagex? You know what players do when things don't go their way? They either riot in worlds or rant on the RSOF. I've never, ever heard of Jagex employee's taking time out of their schedules of updating/scripting/whatever they do to deal with a riot or ridiculous rants. They have forum Mods on the RSOF and Player Mods in-game to mute any spammers. Continue..

So what does anyone think of the pure F2P official Hiscore Table idea? It really would be nice to see where all these 100% F2Per's are in F2P, eh?

yea i think its really weird that jagex doesnt allow F2P players to post on the forums.. even though I am P2P i think its sort of unfair for the F2P players to miss out on half of the game You know, I'm fine with it. I like a simplicity that doesn't seem like I have a million things to do just to get a taste of the game.

Why can't F2P have their own Highscores table? Wouldn't it be cool to be able to look up the top F2Per's? And I'm thinking it would only be for people who've only ever been F2P, not those who've been a member, but reverted back.

Ugh, I hate that word. Demo. I more like the thought of it being called a choice. F2P is a full version in it's self, I believe. Oh and also, if you want to get into "doesn't need anything", we could certainly say that for P2P. P2P doesn't NEED anything, they simply pay for more content than what comes in F2P. They don't NEED updates and new content, they just get it by paying for it.

Mostly Woodcutting. Though I sell whatever I don't need. I'd probably have more if I wasn't always buying things for skills :P

I'm fine with merchanting. Hell, I bought a Santa Hat when they were 13mil back in August, cause I knew the Santa Suit won. I made 6mil profit from just sitting on it and waiting. I certainly do hope the imps will stay. Are you sure it isn't just the random ones walking around that leave?
