Why would a 40 or 60 year old get pregnant? If they know they could die because of their limited physical capabilities, they shouldn't have had sex in the first place.
  2. Looks like you are having fun. That's what the game is for! Happy Scaping!
  3. Awesome. :) Keep the levels coming, my intelligent friend.

Are you kidding me!? Do you know how many kids are up for adoption and don't get a loving home year after year? Also, it's not too hard to predict the future of parents who want an abortion (DO NOT WANT THE KID) yet the gov't has taken control over their bodies. No, I am not kidding you. Do you believe Euthanasia is right, too?
  6. I'm on it. :D

^Adoption will avoid that. Predicting a person's future, now, eh? That's logical, I guess.

Women would rather abort than give up to adoption because of the physical pain of giving birth. Which I find funny, since an abortion has negative physical side affects that seem to be much worse. Neat thing about adoption, though. If you take that route, the mother gets to see her "unwanted" baby before hand, and many times, nerfs the adoption plan and keeps it.
  9. I'm not good at leading things, but I'll definitely take part in the mass restoration. Maybe we should ask Lionheart. He could also change the title of the post to attract more people.

Tripsis, Link I'll just explain a few, because most are selft explanatory. Of course, anger and rage, and violence due to it can affect family members who the post-abortion woman takes this anger out on. Please tell me you know how suicide and feelings relating to it can greatly affect family members and friends in an emotional way.
  11. I thought posting crap like this wasn't allowed anymore. People obviously don't read the "Guide to Posting in the Off-Topic".

Since its morning, I'll post what I did yesterday. Woke up, went to school. Played volleyball after school with a bunch of friends for an hour. Got ready for a football game. Played the football game (victory of 64-30). Went to Sharis for a small dinner with a friend. Got home, took a shower, went to bed at 12:30. :)

Abortion may be a personal choice, but it has negative effects on a lot of people around you, in addition to yourself. Things that affect other people when they don't even have a say in it should be considered more carefully.
  14. We'd have to figure out timezones, and people with 100% ink already would have to use up a bit every day so their ink doesn't reset. But it sounds like a good idea. So should I not use my ink yet?
  15. Likewise. Get a lot done this weekend.

  19. You've got to be kidding me. If someone you respected told you to jump off a building, would you do it? You have to examine the time period in which the Old Testament was written. You obviously haven't interpreted the Bible correctly and analyzed it with the time period in mind. Its the damn Old Testament, get it through your skull. For discussion sake, please point out these texts from the Old Testament that tell followers of God to kill Jews, sell our daughters as slaves, and kill disobedient children. Really. I want to know. He ain't a nice guy? You lived back then? You know? You know him personally? I am very sorry, then for contradicting you, sir. And what did you expect? The evidence you want is pretty much a piece of writing coming directly from God. Dearly sorry, you aren't going to get it.
  20. Atheists want facts that theists can't give them; this is due to the fact that atheists argue with the idea of faith and the Bible, pretty much the only two things that support that God exists. For myself, the thought of something out there is comforting. Where's Barihawk when you need him? :P
  21. The Bible was written by various authors, which disproves the fact that it was written on some psychedelic trip. The church says the authors of the Bible were divinly influenced by the Holy Spirit. The books, for the most part, are coherent. It doesn't make sense that all these people were on a psychedelic trip at the same time, and just decided to add their little hallucinations together to form a book. A lot of it is history. I wouldn't go as far as to say that he personally kills us. Our bodies fail. Yet, the church would simply say you die because God feels it is time that you should join him in heaven. And to your second question, rocks/stones aren't living things, and therefore cannot be killed.
  22. Truly, it was a learning experience. I'll be sure to share what you think with the people in my class tomorrow, because you made many statements that had good points. If a God does exists, and eternal life with him in heaven does as well, I don't think believing will matter much if you treat your fellow wo/men with respect and live a 'good' life. :) In all honesty, your second-to-last statement is logical, and I can understand that. Being openminded helps lessen that arrogance, I hope. And a goodnight to you. EDIT: My last part of my post probably won't make sense, since you seemed to have edited yours while I posted mine. I completely understand that it makes sense for a human to assign a higher being as the explanation of the unknown. Its one of the many ideas that gets me thinking really hard/stumps me. It'll keep me up even later than I am. :P
  23. But this isn't about loving or thanking God. You don't have to. Yet, that isn't what this thread is about. Its about acknowledging that God exists. I respect that you have your opinions. And if you didn't even say that God didn't exist, I am sorry for this whole discussion. On the other hand, if you don't think he exists, I am not sure what else I can say. Apparently, everything we know comes from instincs or whatnot. Those wouldn't be referred to as morals, in my opinion. Just values.
  24. I heard it a lot when I was younger, and did my fair share of gawking at people's wealth. Yet, I just find the statement "[name] is so rich" as a small error. The person obviously didn't expect you to want a completely specific answer. You hear it among young kids. They don't care if they are specific. They try to get their ideas out with as few words a possible. I doubt you would hear a kid say "[name]'s family is extremely wealthy because of the hard work his parents do." Just my opinion.
  25. Different opinions of 'good' would be called values. And I admit, those vary greatly among people. Values are influenced by other people, such as parents. Values, morals, and ethics are completely different things. Ethics happen to be choices of right or wrong, also influenced by people. These choices affect you and many others. All in all, ethics are good principles in practice as established by a group of individuals. However, there is a universal moral law. Morals are objective, coming from outside us, while ethics and values come from within us. As I said earlier, morals come from God and do not change. 'What you may see as good may be idiocy in another's eyes'. Your values differ from the other persons, your ethics differ, yet your morals do not. I do not doubt that you are 'good', whatever you wish to define that as. Question about your last statement, though: You are required to defy him? I thought you were free to believe what you wish? Who's making you defy him? I don't understand.
