I don't think that would work at all. Making the seat bigger would cost a fortune, something the airlines are not going to do just because some obese people don't want to pay for two seats. Paying upon the weight of the person will do nothing, since really large people will still pose a problem in taking up other people's seats. The best thing to do is make them pay for two seats, unless they provide a medical certificate or something. In that case, they get two seats and pay for one. Either that, or designate seats for larger people and have those seats cost extra. Yet, the later would cost money to install the seats. So, the first option in the best, in my opinion.

According to the HDI (Human Development Index), the United States has a .951 rating out of 1.000. However, that isn't entirely military power. That rating puts into consideration a lot of demographics and economic and social statistics. In my opinion, when talking about Military strength, I would say yes; China is close behind, though.

I am kind of apatheix about this subjest, but I'd say Coke over Pepsi, just because I drink Coke more often for some reason.

To be honest, I agree with you, and the other posters. This makes perfect sense. The really key point the author makes is "a plane ticket is like real estate: You get only the space you pay for." If obese people complain about this, they should do their best to lose their weight. I know that obesity can be in their genes, but weighing so much that you take up more than one seat in a plane is their own fault, because they likely have accepted the fact they are fat and don't do anything about it. That is what I think.

Yes, I do. Just not as much as I used to. I'll get on for about an hour or something a day if I am not busy. :) It doesn't look too bad, in my opinion. At least we can see all the letters. There aren't blocks of yellow covering everything, and Wildkat/D3N isn't written on everything.

What is your theme for Vista? And I wonder how to get it.

I found this article very interesting. It makes sense. I, for one, wouldn't want the seat I paid for to be taken up by another person. What do you think? Is it ethically right to make them pay for two seats? Or should a law be passed that prevents airlines from discriminating against obese people? Is it even descrimination? Dicuss. :thumbup:
