That's something called continental climate. Also, that Gulf stream, heats whole Europe. In winter. While keeping it rainy and wet and cool all summer. I still can't fathom what will the implications be for Brexit. I mean, wtf seriously. I know I ain't gonna go and do a London city trip for a while now.

Canada is [bleep]ing hot as hell. Toronto for example is a lot more to the south than the whole of Britain. Most of Canadian population, probably over 90% live in a more southern latitude than Estonia is situated at. I don't know where you get that coldness.

Anyways, life goes on as it always has been, people in Britain will survive, even if they have to receive cuts in their paychecks and the prices will rise, however, most of the world makes do with much less.

Well, currently the political climate in EU is that Britain, GTFO as quickly as possible. Even Nigel [bleep]ing Farage admitted on TV that the Leave campaign was partly based on lies, most specifically the £350m to NHS per week, which was one of the main arguments of the whole case. And complete and utter bullshit. Pretty much everyone was surprised by the outcome, also the pro-Leave campaigners.
  6. GOG had a summer sale, that wreaked havoc on my wallet, got Stalker series, Mount & Blade series and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. And now the Steam sale is upon us... Someone, please save me wallet!

Sorry for double post, but had to share that: "Overnight the UK economy has already slumped from the fifth largest in the world to sixth. More than £200 billion has already been wiped from the value of the UK stock market - or put another way, 24 years' worth of UK contributions to the EU." Source - http://indy100.independent.co.uk/article/8-of-the-most-misleading-promises-of-the-vote-leave-campaign-ranked-in-order-of-preposterousness--WyxD59VO3Nb The Independent is a rather reputable news source.

Norway, Iceland and Switzerland also pay helluva lot to have these agreements in place that allow free movement of people and goods. I am quite certain that Scotland will have a new national referendum about leaving Britain and Northern Irish Prime Minister already called for a referendum for joining the two Irelands together. As was seen on the voters map aswell, larger cities were in favour of remaining, however the countryside wanted to leave. Old people came out and [bleep]ed up the future prospects of young people, who now have to face the proposition of being closed down in UK. You see, the best thing about EU is that I can work and travel and do pretty much anything in any member state even without a passport. No visas, no border controls, no anything actually. Also all Estonian goods for example could be sold without any tolls anywhere in the EU. Like 10 of my classmates, some of the most brilliant minds in my country went to UK to universities, since it was easy and cheap and excellent education there. Lots of European students and well, more active and smarter people have left Estonia to have a better life in Britain. And those who leave here are usually the smartest... Not gonna happen anymore. Britain walled itself out of Europe. No more cheap holidays in Spain for example. No more cheap holidays anywhere, since pound is well, quite worthless right now... :D And EU as a whole is a multiple times larger economic partner to UK than USA is, think of the distance, for example. The pound dropped that massively because seriously young and intelligent people, who are also vocal on the internet had no idea that the leave part was so large. People have no idea what they lose with leaving the EU. It speaks volumes that even the leaders of the Leave part were seriously surprised and a few even mentioned that they are not responsible for the vote results.

In other news, back from Canada. Slept 16 hours the first day home, cause the trip was [bleep]ing epic! ... and exhausting...

In other news, had our first concert in Toronto today. [bleep]ing epic. Over 120 people came in to listen to us, the hall was packed and some people had to stand (there were tables for all the seats, I don't know why). Leaving Toronto today, to visit the neighbourhood of Canadian Estonians about 100 km's to the north-east. 2 concerts there, will be fun.

Today, spent the day on CN Tower and at Ripley's aquarium and shopping at Eaton. Spent more than $400 CAD there... It is cheaper than in Estonia.

Had some Moosehead, Mad Tom's, Mill street 100th, Shot Put or sth like that. Still, it sucks. However, it is better than 'mudican pisswasser. Still waiting for proposals to go out somewhere here. We are having loadsa fun being inappropriate.

We're gonna have the City Pass, so we'll have the aquarium free. Probably gonna visit aswell. Canadian beer sucks. My view is [bleep]ing epic. 18th floor on Bloor street, overlooking the university and straight view to CN Tower and the lake. It's pretty amazing how large the city really is. And how many immigrants. A mate of mine, who is also here, commented that every time he sees a white chick, eyes are resting. So many asians and blacks and latinos. White people really are a minority here.

Umm, me mate who has been here since last Saturday said it has only been cold here the whole time he has been here. Anyways, been to the Madison Pub or whatever it is called, and had some Smoke's Poutine. What else to see/do?
  15. Estonian dude replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
In Toronto. On 18th floor in a suite in downtown, with view towards the lake. CN Tower is on the way, along with some skyscrapers, but I still have beach view aswell. And it didn't cost me a thing. Bloody [bleep]ing hell it is hot in here, like I'd just arrived in bloody Egypt.
  16. Homeworld Remastered brought it back.

Gonna be in the "Great White North" for you Americans starting Saturday. Will be interesting. First of all, we have no clue when we are going to get there, since Air France is on strike and we have tickets with them for Paris to Toronto flight... Some folks have never flown in their lives. Will also be interesting.
  18. Homeworld Remastered. Have to say it is pretty good. And that music with that story... Brings tears...

The thing is, I am inviting like 5 people max when I go out, but the train is already gone, they already have next challenges...
  20. I was gonna do that in the morning, once a bit more sober, however you already did the thing, so me be free for one more page :D
  21. That is called old school. I can't recommend pirating due to the forum rules, yet the game is not yet on GOG, so make your own conclusions. The HD remake is expensive and doesn't really add anything. To make matters worse, it removes the LAN opportunity, while we used to have bi-daily LAN competitions of AoE II just two years ago.

Most of the time I am on top of the world. Everybody knows me. I can't go out without anyone recognizing me. And then I check the instagram or sth of my friends. Everybody has a closer knit tight community of friends. They are always everywhere. Birthday parties of 100+ people. School endings with 30+ people. And then there is me. Last birthday I had 6 guests. When I finished high school, one mate from my previous school came to congratulate me. At social events, I am often looking from the sidelines how everybody else is in a group. Even if I am the one who has organized and created the event. I feel like jumping off the balcony quite often. The fact that 2 of me friends have already committed suicide does not help to the case...
  23. At the first riff thought it was a tribute to Elton John...
  24. MOAR VOTES! Keep in mind that I ain't posting more gifs or more pics until page 2.
