  1. I'm out of town for the weekend, if someone prefers, could post before, but otherwise I'll try to get next one up on Monday.

Veiva got the veritable 2500th page... In other news, went for a beer in a pub after a hard day of work. One bar turned into another and beers turned into shots and so it went. Gonna be fun few days.

€7 for half a litre of pretty okay vodka. In a store of course. Beer (pint) in a bar here is around €2.5-3.

If you drink less than a marathon runner before a race I'm going to be disapointed I don't know how much marathon runners drink before a race. And having heard about your alcohol prices I'm a bit afraid I'll be broke before I get drunk.
  5. Bought Rammstein's Made In Germany special edition. Quite good. And seriously, music needs to be bought on CDs if you have even slightly above average sound systems. It's just sooo much better.
  6. Bought 1Q84 and Brave New World. Both books probably don't need much further introduction. Also, through 3 of the 5 books of the Hitchhiker saga. Pretty good, although not as good as it had been hyped up to. From radio as a show it would be much more effective I think, I even read it with a British accent in my head right now. But it ain't quite like hearing it. But still, burst out laughing quite a few times.

So, anybody gonna be in Toronto in June to see how we Eastern Europeans manage our liquor? In other news, been a hell of a long day. Went to work at 6 AM and finished with everything for today at 11 PM...
  8. On a Linkin Park row right now. One of my favourites of all time from them. Even though it is pretty much a solo by Joe Hahn. That is the stuff that makes Linkin Park special. I kinda liked how in a recent Cracked article it was mentioned that Linkin Park should stick to making instrumentals and collaborations. As the collab's have been epic, with Jay-Z and Busta Rhymes and whatnot.

4 drinks is the lowest limit for me to get a buzz. Under that I don't even consider drinking.

Holy shit, we are turning into adults!
  11. I paid the full amount to get the Homeworld aswell ;)

Was in Lithuania to see the final of the Baltic Basketball League. What started out well ended up being a complete wash. Now I have a terrible hangover.
  13. Got the new Humble Bundle. And the Humble Monthly. I was really excited for the Mad Max. And it doesn't work on me shitty laptop.

We have pretty much all mentioned plus chilies, tangerines, all sorts of iceberg, frillice and whatnot salads, pears, peas on a pod everywhere, coconuts, garlic (lots of different sorts), bilberries instead of blueberries (much better and sweeter, almost the same thing). And that's in pretty much every slightly larger store. It is somewhat of a note from the Soviet times when it was somewhat difficult to acquire exotic fruits and vegetables at times, causing discontemt, to never have even an illusion of not enough choice at stores nowadays.

Lamb is the main thing that is grilled and used in kebab and shashlik. You have not lived unless you've had proper lamb shashlik or kebab.

I don't know what you've had then. I know a sheep farmer and thus I've had some excellent super fresh lamb. I saw the ram beheaded, and skinned, and cleaned out of all the intestines and stuff. Don't know how it is said in English. The shashlik was excellent. That is the most natural food (and meat) a man can get, as it was a small farmer with just 20-something sheep. Uses no fertilizers nor growth hormones or anything, pure eco.
  17. Saw Zootropolis with my GF. Kinda funny how the whole room was filled with parents with kids, but damn the movie had some great cameos. Specially the Godfather part was nearly perfect. Also, that social commentary. 'cept for the happy ending, this is a movie for adults aswell.

And how long ago did you graduate? I know one died from my class. Already 2 years ago from suicide.
  19. I doubt that steroid part, due to massive misuse in the 90's, cross-country skiing is very tightly controlled and checked. WADA tests every single contestant pretty much every single larger run.
  20. I see her skiing but I don't see any snow. Is she skiing on the road? Would it not be easier to just walk at that point? That's called roller skiing. She has things on, that look a bit like rollerblades, except there are only wheels at the front and rear. A pic for you here: If you wanna see someone REALLY pumped and with seriously large muscles, google Marit Bjørgen or Justyna Kowalczyk. They are like men. Mountains.
  21. I'd say one is a lot tougher per se. As RPG said, one is nearly 105% muscle. Need that to ski up the Alps.
  22. Apparently you don't know what happens when you spend years outside, specially on snow and at higher altitudes with full sun always at your face.
  23. Showing too much skin would be disadvantageous for one of them, since she simply has no pics online where she is showing much skin. Specially compared to the other one.
