Spent 2 hours yesterday doing my taxes. Only reason I spent that time is cause I earned most of my money from abroad and they have different tax systems and differently calculated so I had to find and match the differences. Good thing is, I still get some money back. Bad thing is, if I hadn't worked abroad, doing my taxes would have been 2 clicks on a computer. On standardized tests, here we have only standard tests for finishing high school. They are also only in 3 subjects: Maths, Estonian and A-foreign language (first and main foreign language you learnt). For finishing primary school (9th grade) we have regional tests. County tests, pretty much. All other tests are either made by teachers themselves or shared by teachers between different schools. And we consistently rank higher in PISA and other tests than UK or USA or even Canada.

FFS, my mouse wheel doesn't work properly. And I can't afford a new mouse. And I will be bankrupt pretty much the whole next month since I won't get properly paid for I have been on sick leave pretty much over a month now.
  3. Deadpool. Mother-effing-deadpool. I understood the R rating. And it was good. Better than hyped. Laughed almost the whole [bleep]ing time. Those opening credits... "Everything except green!"

Our company once tried having a tech support division in India. It lasted 3 months.
  5. Are moldovan girls hot? They are so-so. Too slavic for my tastes, quite pretty otherwise.
  6. Finally bought Dune and finished with the first book within a day. Gonna read second part tomorrow. It really is that good.

With one crutch I can at least carry something in one hand. Right now I can't carry anything.
  8. Not really, I wouldn't consider my phone as a keyboard.

Man, yesterday was crazy. Was at a live for a young up and coming artist. Venue was absolutely sold out, people were left waiting at the door, as there would have been too many people and too uncomfortable. But the dude really brought the public to live. Made chanting competitions between halves of the hall, invited people up to play drums for him, got everyone to jump and shout along. Even got me waving around with my crutches. Film crews were present, the live was recorded to be the official video to be sent to event managers to get him booked on large festivals. In other news, my knee absolutely swole up to be like a balloon. And just yesterday my physio told me to stay horizontal and lay a bit off the exercises, cause the knee is too swollen still and can't handle it. But, next week I can finally get rid of one of the crutches!
  10. Luckily I've only ever seen 3 bots on Tinder. 2 in Norway and 1 here. I totally erased Tinder after it started randomly locating me somewhere in Moldova -_-
  11. I'm AFK for a few more days, so if anyone else could get bonus pics, it would be nice.
  12. I'd say it was Oct or Nov '01. I was just 7 years old at the time though, so at the start I had multiple stupid accounts that I forgot passwords for or told my friends who subsequently emptied me of all my belongings. I remember my mum had acquired a pirated Lou Bega disc somewhere in '02? and thus forever Lou Bega's Mambo no. 5 relates to fishing lobster on Karamja in RSC for me. RS was really huge in my hometown until like 2004. Nearly everyone my age had an acc. It even went so far that at once there were over 40 acc's online out of total ˇ1000 that started with "Saq" which was the start of the name for pretty much every one from my town of 4k inhabitants. People hogged the local internet cafe and computer classes at school to play RSC. And then, as quickly as it started, RS was extremely uncool, the ultimate nerd-loser "thing" and thus I also didn't play for a while. RS says I made my current RS account a year after I made this forum account. Yet I used Tip.It site from pretty much the very beginning for general help on homepage and didn't think anything of the boards. I can't even tell how many accounts I've had through the years or how many times I have quit, but I am out right now. And probably will stay out for quite a while.
  13. There are youtube videos about how to have sex? Damn, they do have everything there then. I heard from a girl I knew like 5-6 years ago when we were like 16, that she learned to kiss from a YT video. I got my first ever kiss from that girl.
  14. Yeah, we do say flatmates. And probably it is a cultural thing here then, as according to my flatmate most girls open up around here when they are 22+. And start getting more conservative close to thirties, if ever.
  15. I truly wish to have a computer good enough for Dying Light. I've played a bit on my friend's computer and it really is good. I'd get it if I had the good enough computer. But right now, stuck with other games. Crusader Kings 2 had a huge update again, but I haven't touched the game yet. Previous large update completely [bleep]ed up my ironman best ever game and screwed me over and I don't want it to happen again and am waiting for the minor patches to fix all bugs.
  16. 5 people living in one room? I'd go nuts in a week. I'm having trouble temporarily living with my brother. And so far, until like 20-21 the not giving in on first date is quite common or even more like a rule here. I can't say for all, but that has been my experience and by now I have some of it. And that is confirmed by my flatmate, who is pretty much muggi in behaviour and philosophies. And he is almost 10 years older than I am and still very actively in the game.
  17. Not necessarily. Some girls don't jump at the idea of sex on first date or whatnot. Cuddling might be the most they are willing to take it.
  18. Wow, never expected it to be this one-sided... No wonder Jason Statham dumped Rosie. But I'd say it's the dimples on Miranda that are alluring. And how the [bleep] could I forget to make the votes public?
  19. Mount & Blade: Warbands again. Started a new game in the vanilla game. Can beat up pretty much anyone in the game, but I made myself a woman character and thus it is helluva a difficult to actually get my own holdings...
  20. Epic sax guy came from here.
  21. Wow, never expected muggi to actually agree with me on something :D

My [bleep]ing knee hurts. I am off painkillers by now, but I have managed to hurt it now multiple times and it is still swollen af now, 18 days after the surgery. I might have ripped apart the sutures in my sewn meniscus with my one fall almost two weeks ago, and if that happened, then I am screwed. Hello prosthetics.
  24. Actually reading this thread the downfall of RS for me started, as was mentioned, with the changeable usernames. I couldn't keep up with my friends anymore after a few months, since everyone changed so much and so often. That was pretty much the main reason why I quit aswell. If I couldn't recognize who was who then it kinda crashed all my previous relations and the game became a lot more bland. That, and the loss of general banter around the RS aswell...
  25. If you guys checked just a wee bit or browsed the Today thread, we have topics or discussions regarding pretty much everything that has been actual in the world. One of the positives of having a community that started out from our love of one game is that we have people of wildly different backgrounds in Off-Topic. We have a polyamory hunk, a rich Middle-Eastern dude, a few LGBT members, Californian libertarians, Aussies with their thoughts from down under, some underaged kids with their naive worldview, rational Brits, cold-blooded Canadians and some guys from more obscure places. And that was just a few of the regulars mentioned, we are a wild bunch with differing opinions and argumented and reasonable discussions unlike anything you see on reddit or 4chan or whatnot.
