Meh, a complex adult behaviour I'm learning from 90% of the other kids my age? I'm not saying you shouldn't date. Just the whole "follow your heart" and relationship rules stuff you see in the relationship thread, a lot of it is aimed at adult relationships; relationships in your teens are very different. Most of the time (not always) they aren't as serious so....basically the best advice you can get at this point is just to not stress it.

All I was trying to say is that there's an element of risk in preaching complex adult behaviour to a 14 year old. EDIT: Sorry, this is a response to the posts at the top of the page.

I think it's fair. What they did was absolutely unacceptable.

I'd just tell her to make a decision, personally.

Looks like they got the tanking memo.

You should date someone when you actually want to be with them, not just whenever you want to say that you have a girlfriend. The fact that there's more than one person that you'd like to date isn't a good sign... That said, pretty sure he's 14...don't know how many 14 year olds actually have serious relationships...
