Revenants feel plain [wagon] annoying to me. Pkers gave me a thrill because they were real people but these npcs just feel..like npcs. When I see them I don't feel the thrill to fight or run but just a sigh as a random event with no prizes and a high likelyhood of you dieing. :?

Ok for the bard task this is getting tiring. I didn't have the crafting req but on rs quest description it said I didn't need it. Instead of making the lyre I killed Lanzig for a drop as it said on one of the quest guides. He dropped "lyre" and i assumed it was it. Im trying to string it with golden wool but it doesnt work. He also dropped the lyre on the first kill...Is he supose to drop another "unstrung lyre" or what am i doing wrong I gota finish this! :shock: :shock: :shock: Thanks

You are right repeating the same idiotic argument over and over makes you intelligent and able to destroy each and every of my "half assed" arguments. Point is I don't have a problem with people who disagree with me but it's annoying when someone just posts the same old thing over and over instead of posting something worthwhile to prove why my post is wrong.

Ok my rant is the people who come to rants forum but instead of writing something meaningful all they do is go to every thread posting "stop complaining" and "it's their game" and "don't like it don't play." Yes we all know that you love Jagex with your soul and criticism about them you take personally; But seriously this is a RANT forum this is the place where people express negative thoughts about some aspects of the game. If you can't handle people who don't fanatically agree and support every update that comes out, WHY come and post here. Go to the compliments forum and dwell in happiness among others alike. People who post rants KNOW that the game is owned by Jagex and they think that there is nothing wrong with expressing what they feel about their service free to play or not. So anyway don't take this the wrong way but I just don't understand members who come to rant forums to spam with typical answers which everyone read hundreds of times and long ago acknowledged them but respectfully disagreeing decided to post anyway. All in all it raises the post count right?

Barrows at lvl 50? I had trouble at first on my lvl 100 main. Anyway cmon tell me what to kill :P I'm down with training slayer btw. I need prayer exp so drags do seem to make sense. Also what spell should I use? How good are magic darts? Ancients too expensive?

I am a member and trained to 20 defense for the mage armor. What can I kill for the drops and the mage xp? I was thinking of wearing full enchanted/mystic. I've done mage arena but bloods are expensive. What if I use chaos can I still successfully kill monsters with safespots how high level? Dragons?

You just make some new weapons offhand so they aren't OP.

Depending on your combat levels..but if you do decide to for no reason go to bh with wierdly expensive armor I suggest do it on f2p as you can't get KOed with the mighty rune scimmy that easily...

Hi I was wonder if you'd have any advice. My account just got banned for billing refund. I got my pin from my brother who currently is in another city. He wouldn't really tell my why he did it and I think it was his idea of a prank. Anyway my main is over 100 combat so this is kind of annoying. I already have a paypal membership query submitted but it takes time as my CC isn't added to paypal. Do I have a chance of getting my account back? I'd pay for the "negative balance." Thanks

I agree that the solution was really half-assed. If you can't think of anything just put a bunch of NPCs in. Great solution.

You don't know how long I am involved in runescape or tip.it it may just be another account since I forgot the information for the previous one. Neither do you know how old I am. I always found dueling arena so much fun because of the risks. You actually can win/loose something you and your opponent spent a lot of time making. It's not necessarily a place for fun stakes but it's what it was made after the update. WoW...Now you are just grasping for something to rant about in my thread. Seriously how literal do you have to take my words to actually assume I am proposing a tip.it policy. It's just a figure of speech and VERY obvious one. RWT don't need to come back since they never left. You have to be really gullible not to think new systems won't be exploited like BH. Also I don't think this update was not necessary, Jagex SAID it was necessary because they lost money.

I just love how most "respective users" go to every thread and try to defend Jagex in every rant. It is a rant forum. If you want to blindly support Jagex like most high post people seem to here there are other places to post. Anyway I am just realistically assessing the use of dueling arena. Yes there are people who find dueling with no high stakes are fun, but common apart from a rare duel with a friend to settle a bet or something most people get bored very quickly. I just don't see this as something any player age group could be really interested in. On another note we shouldn't allow posting "you are f2p get over it" response or something -.- It is so obvious and is pretty much spam as as long as they provide service we have the right comment on it whether with supportive comments or not. It's just another typical response by people who feel that any rant about Jagex has to be bashed. Anyways hope this made some sense.

god it's an effing game! I say joke about what you want and if some jagex staff want to be a-holes about it well do you want to play a game with this kind of staff. Besides they already took out a legendary pvp system and replaced it with god knows what. Ridiculous tyranny movements gota stop somewhere?

Long time staker in p2p I canceled my membership a while back. Why the hell would jagex introduce dueling arena to f2p AFTER the update :roll: . Why don't they put a bunch of member's npcs around but you can't communicate with them. Sparing the joy of friendly duel bull, 3k a duel is just a slap in the face. And OBVIOUSLY the tournament (only way to earn money through dueling) is still p2p. It's like a jealous, poor guy watches the rich guy's house burn down and then god gives the ashes just for fun. Anyway I think it's another of those distracting updates to avoid having to put in something worth while. Yes it's f2p and yes it's their game..stfu already no reason to insult f2p players with r-tarded updates.

No No no..! This update is nothing good for rs. At least for me, I always like the sort of 2d over the top look of rs2. The simplicity is what made it professional and now the full screen 3d mode looks so bluntly like an amateur game scrapped in some 3d game maker and rather poorly. Java will NEVER catch up to graphical capabilities of games such as GW, WoW, AoC w.e else. Runescape is popular because the content is so rich and original and you can play it on a website. Crappy looking 3d graphics are a big turn off for me over the simple 3d we currently have.
