Not really, almost of all of the movies that I've cared enough about to buy are rated R which would be my favorite movies, which in my opinion would be the best. So no, not really a silly point, just fact in my case. Also, I've seen more bad films that were rated lower than R than I have that were rated R.

Ugh. I wasn't expecting that much violence, although I guess I should have been. It didn't help that my bladder was about to rupture the whole time. Honestly, most violent movie I've probably seen is Saving Private Ryan, or the spire through head bit in Hot Fuzz. I haven't seen many R movies - this was only my second actually in theaters (first was Role Models). I'm only 14 Why may I ask are you seeing a rated R film when you're 14? Why not? Movies that are rated R are usually the best.
  3. You look really different from your old picture, though that was a couple years ago...but still, quite different.

See it unless you like crappy movies.

Putting Black Freighter into the movie would've been a mistake, too complicated I think, with or without reading it. Plus it would probably bump the movie up another hour or something which would just be unbearable honestly. Also, this:
  6. Pretty good episode I thought, the thing with Sylar and his dad was interesting and not terribly anticlimactic like it could've been and like how the bomb was. I mean okay, I guess they couldn't kill them off but still...meh. I kind of hope Sylar doesn't kill the Hunter because he creates a lot of tension between Nathan and Bennet so he'd be good to stay I think. In the "next time on Heroes" thing, Bennet was questioning Tracy about who Rebel was which makes me thing even more that it's Micah which I think would be pretty cool. Oh and baby Matt Parkman, I bet he has a power which somehow makes him a handful for the baby-sitter or else I don't really see how they're going to carry that storyline out. Not a bad episode, looking forward to the next one even though it's in two weeks  .
  7. Well, I hope they come up with something better than that, they already did that in the first season >_> Yea, so do I. Kinda hope they kill someone off because really none of the main heroes have died. Isaac's was predicted, Nikki was replaced with Tracy essentially and all other deaths have been of lesser characters.

It was pretty faithful to the book honestly. The book is really freaking extensive so you cannot expect the movie to go as in-depth as people hoped it would, it was long enough as is. I could see it being a little over-the-top if you hadn't read the book but wasn't necessary to enjoy it.

Well a lot of them were Broadway actors so it would make sense for them to act like that I suppose. The ending really wasn't all that different, it had the same effect and was executed pretty similarly.
  10. New York, little north of the city.

Yeah...during that scene I was just thinking "Porn...?" the length of that scene was really unnecessary.

This. Longest piss of my life. But no, there was no credit footage. I liked the movie a lot honestly. I came in with decently low expectations as to not be disappointed but I was really satisfied with the outcome. The actors, though obscure, did a good job. Although there was a lack of character development, they really didn't leave out much from the book, I think it did it justice. [hide=About the death thing above]It made more sense to cut his arms off. Before they complained about him being in the way so they slit his throat but he was still in the say so...Cutting his arms off actually removed the obstacle.[/hide]
  13. They've got summaries on heroeswiki.com and the lady he was with is his great Aunt. He's supposed to be 13 or something, if they plan to bring him back as REBEL they probably have him signed on a contract already. Besides, I don't think it would be like them to get a new actor for an old role, they'd most likely make a new character before doing that. Micah probably also has the mental capacity to pull it off so I suppose there's a decent chance it's him.
  14. I stopped reading a while back and recently looked up the summaries of what happened in the issues I missed. Last issue of that one was more than a year ago so yea, not really. They don't really say what happened to him. Last we saw him he helped Tracy find the doctor that genetically altered her when she was an infant. The fact that we haven't seen him and Hana is apparently gone makes me think Rebel is him.

Just ordered tickets for an IMAX showing for tomorrow. Gonna go with a couple friends, can't wait.
  16. Forgot to ask this. Who do you guys think REBEL is? It probably is Hana Gitelman although in the graphic novel she appears to be deleted/die so I'm not totally sure. Only other person capable of this that we've seen is Micah and he always said that he wanted to use his powers to help people. I suppose we'll see.

The comic is decently graphic, I'm glad they didn't leave much of that out.

Well, it all depends on your kind of humour but over all the novel/movie is pretty serious. It basically deals with the moral issues related to superhero vigilantism. I'm really curious to see how they translate Rorschach and The Comedian to the movie though, I could see them chickening out on stuff like Rorschach's prison scenes and The Comedian's last actions in Vietnam. Pretty sure I saw a preview that showed that bar scene. Also saw pictures of Rorschach (Walter) in prison so hopefully they won't. It's also supposed to be quite a long movie because the director wanted to give the book justice so I think they're going to manage to fit mostly everything in.

It really wasn't though...the explosion is what killed the people, not the monster. The Comedian find out about the monster is easy enough to change, they probably just made him find a bomb being built or something.

Started months ago and never finished eh? Sounds oddly familiar...hmm. As said, biggest complaint is lack of detail in shading. Also, I think the flame in his hand should be bigger, barely noticed it honestly.
  21. Pretty sure Nathan caught him and flew him to safety. I agree, decent episode. Underwater make-out scene was lol. I bet he's still hiding in the closet. But I though puppet guy was dead. Sylar totally pwned him when he did his whole Saw thing at Primatech. Ohhhh, that makes more sense. Damn, didn't think of that at all. Hmm. [Wikipedia]Eric Doyle appears and takes control of Sylar before Sylar overpowers him, leaving him lying on the ground bleeding from his nose. He then injects Meredith with adrenaline.[/Wikipedia] Yeah, he just incapacitated him, didn't kill him.
  22. [hide=Spoilers for Tonight's Episode Inside]I though tonight's episode was pretty good. So now we know Peter can hold onto more than one ability, supposedly. But he had to take Nathan's power to fly away? I'm not really sure about that one. Also, if he could hold on to multiple abilities then he should've just healed from that bullet wound. Little confused about that whole thing. About the Matt bomb thing, I think Nathan will either rip the vest off Matt and fly away with it or if that's not a possibility, Matt will command Nathan to fly him up and Nathan will get to a safe distance while Matt is in the air about to explode, thus sacrificing himself to save a couple hundred/thousand people.[/hide]
