  1. Ares writes- "Is there some way I would be able to talk through the mind? Writing will suffice, but being able to communicate properly would be nice."
  2. It's telepathy, isn't it. Ares writes a note asking how their people communicate.
  3. So did Dusty slip into an alternate dimension which can no longer interact with this one? My my, I think he really did fall off the edge of the map. Anyways. Ares finishes studying, and once again tries to make his note.
  4. Ares gestures to the bookcase once more, after placing the book back into it's place. After getting another book, he'll study it for 15 minutes and try to write his note again.
  5. Ares finishes studying his book and tries to write a note using the individual symbols which he has no doubt learned by now. The note says that he wishes to learn to speak the language, as well as writing it.
  6. Ares studies the book for 15 minutes.
  7. Ares puts the book back, and then gestures to the man, pointing towards the bookcase. SInce the man already knows I'm trying to learn the language, he should pick out a book suited to that purpose, right?
  8. Ares returns to the book and studies it for another 15 minutes, hoping to gain the ability to write his message.
  9. Ares finishes studying the language, and then attempts to make a note saying that he would like to learn to speak it, as well as write it.
  10. Ares gestures that he is going to study the book for 15 minutes, so as not to offend the man by making him think he is ignoring him.
  11. Ares makes a mental note of the images, then matches them to the words, and uses some of the letters to try to decipher parts of the paragraph. Ares then tries to make a note explaining that he wants to learn the language.
  12. Ares points to the title (Or what he assumes is the title) and gestures to himself speaking.

  14. Ares gestures at himself speaking and then gestures to the nearest piece of foreign text, so as to imply that he wants to learn the language.
  15. Ares hands the necklace back to him, but gestures that he can keep one of the sunspheres anyway.
  16. Ares passes the man both the lunasphere and the sunsphere, and then attempts to ask if that is alright, through gestures.
  17. Ares passes the man the sunsphere again.
  18. Pointing at the amulet, smiling and nodding. Making sure not to gesture towards myself in any way, so that it wont be misinterpreted as me asking to keep the amulet.
  19. Ares gestures that the amulet is good.
  20. Ares examines the necklace that the man is holding.
  21. Ares waits for the man to return.
  22. Ares hands the sunsphere to the man.
  23. He puts the kraken back, and takes out a sunsphere instead.
  24. Ares takes the Kraken out of his cloak and shows it to the man, hoping to find some kind of common topic, so that he may attempt to learn the language,
  25. I didn't think I'd taken a new card yet, but okay.
