Bah. I summon up a shadow elemental, and a shining elemental, and attempt to bind them so that they don't fuse, but still share power. Sort of like a Yin Yang type of thing.

Ares adds the two in different quantities, so that the elemental is mainly darkness but has light as well, hopefully creating a chaos element. (I assume there are three ways it can go with light+darkness? Chaos, Balance and Neutral, I mean.)

Ares attempts to create a chaos elemental by mixing light and darkness, with aid of an array on the floor of the cave. "Jen, that is the wrong way to go about these things. Remember, Power Corrupts." he mutters.

Ares sends a message to Exile "If you tell me where I can find said money, I shall go and attempt to claim it"

Ares attempts to create a small, one room building from the earth. He wont mess with the cave walls until his geomancy is better. "Don't want to collapse it while making you a room"

Ah yeah, Dusty, do you want a room in the cave we built? The compensation we offer is the construction of houses and slaying of nearby threats.

I wouldn't do that if I were you Igos. Upon request, Ares leaves Umbra in a block of ice. In retrospect, Jen's terms had been rather harsh. Ares leaves another note on the outskirts of Exile, requesting peace, in exchange for us helping the town and the town allowing us to use it's facilities. Jen continue to reinforce the ice dome. Ares continues creating stone pillars and then blowing them up with dark magic.

Ares fires a disk of light at the smaller ogre as it runs away, aimed at the legs.

Ares, running towards the Ogres from the forest, launches a spear of light from one hand at the back of the head of the largest ogre, and a spear of darkness at the back of head of the next largest.

Ares runs to defend the cave, launching a spear of dark magic at the back of an ogre's head, and a spear of light at the back of the other large ogre's head. He shouts to Jen "STOP MAKING SO MANY ENEMIES DAMNIT, I DON'T WANT TO BE AT WAR WITH EXILE, I WANT PEACE!" (I was talking to the people at the cave, so basically Jen and possibly Hakon.)

Ares asks Igos to stop, as they have already left. He proposes a plan to the people living in the cave. If they make peace with Exile and offer to lead it, we could rebuild it into a great town filled with merchents and information traders.

Ares attempts to create a rock pillar, then destroys it with a spear of dark magic, helping him train both skills.

Ares is growing annoyed and cursing at the ground by now. He uses a disks of light to utterly destroy the henge he created.

Ares moves closer to the cave, and tries to create a henge there instead.

Ares tries again.

Ares continues to ignore them and starts to create a stonehenge style structure. Jen, I don't want undead near the cave. Take them out.

Ares totally ignores them and continues practising geomancy. He attempts to try something easier though, and starts raising pillars of stone.

Ares tries again.

Ares goes into the town, and disregards the townsfolk, who are no doubt staring in anger. He goes to the exile guild to claim 150GP from the 3 level ups he has gotten, then goes to the edge of town and begins to practise his geomancy skills by creating basic, one room houses.

Ares goes to the outskirts of town, and leaves a note after firing a flare of light into the sky (No xp, no failure rate. That's basically a party trick, it can't do anything) "We wish for peace, if I can get Jen to stop killing random people, will you leave us alone? Destroying the nearest town wouldn't be beneficial for either of us."

Okay, at my count I have: Light magic 1.5 Dark magic 2.0 Force magic 0.9 Healing magic 0.2 Ares fires a force bolt at a tree, then he works on his geomancy by small hills around 20 metres away from the cave entrance, in the direction of the town. He shouts to Jen "We really need Exile guild membership to claim monetary rewards. Also, I think if you promise to stop killing random people it would help us settle things and become peaceful again." (I'm going to even off my force and light magic, then focus on geomancy so I can improve the cave.)

How much xp did I get for killing the evil plant?

Ares begins to get annoyed and goes outside to smash some trees with force magic.

Ares continues and attempts to assist Hakon in further repairing the cave wall.

Repair that ASAP. Ares uses the little understanding of Geomancy that he has to attempt to meld the rock back together. Also, I assumed the cave was underground, so as long as it is structurally integral, shouldn't it be able to stretch on for quite a while if set out properly?
