  1. Id like to mention plank make passes string amulet in exp per hour by 5-10k or so, and is Half the cost
  2. For mage, plank make is more exp an hour then string amulet (5-10k or so more) and half the cost. This or bursting lobs is best way to 99 I suppose. I got 99 in like 2-3 weeks doing this its fast easy and cheap. Diamond bolts are slightly faster exp, have a max limit per day, flucuate in price, but at times can be better to do. If you ever plan to get 99 slayer, this will get your charms for 99 summoning so you may or may not want to burst. For pray, you use an earth staff, stack of laws and airs in inventory. The 1 space you lose vs teletabs or slayer ring(slow) is definately worth it. use a mounted glory in room beside altar to bank in edge fast. For ranging grey chins are more efficient as shown by chenjs2 ranging guide

Having slayed 99 range with slayer and an sgs ill tell you this: at 70 prayer with void/zammybook/fury (10 pray bonus) you can 5% pray every task for free with sgs. 10% will require 2-6 ppots depending on the task. depending on the task id use 5 or 10% 5% on things like fire giants or greater demons, 10% on black demons or abyssal demons as an example. with a unicorn and sgs and a few pizzas, super def pot you can tank most every slayer task with void zammy book at 99 def. i know your not talking about slayer here, but the concepts the same. if you were to wear full arma, fury, zammy book, fury. or a verac helm instead of arma helm. (14-17 pray bonus) you could probly camp avs for a very very long time with 10% prayer with an sgs. A unicorn would be very useful here since zammy book is mainly for pray bonus and a bit of range. or a sara book i suppose. For a ring probly a explorers ring 3 as the extra pray point would probly out do 4 range bonus of archers ring in this situation. maybe even white boots for pray bonus. Good luck

Get void as range set is very good, and if you get melee void which is not bad, you can get the range outfit super fast afterwards torso is just pure rubbish. it adds around 500 exp per hour tops and takes hours to get. it has same stats as an addy chain and in the time you invest into getting the torso, and then have the torso gain you enough exp per hour to pass not even getting it at all, you will need over 100m melee exp. Compfreak proved this in another thread and is true. void = useful, torso = bleh. though at your levels void wont show that much of a help, it really starts showing near maxed stats
  5. brine rats will get you at least 50k exp and 200k cash an hour. I would just do avs till 99 or just make money another way and chin. Or range slay
  6. Generally at higher range levels broad bolts will always beat out knives in exp per hour. I slayed 99 range with void and zammy book, and 5-10% range prayers. I got average 60k exp an hour ranged with bolts, like 50-55k with knives. maybe on things with extremely low def knives are better but not for most things. I was using black knives as well. Broad bolts are the way to go. and they cost about the same roughly, maybe even less. since you will lose alot more knives then bolts. last thing is all of the monsters suggested below are pretty slow exp id say. Since you refuse to do avianses anymore, your best off powering something for the most exp possible, then doing something else in the time saved to make more money then getting bad range and bad cash per hour. When i was a noob i was getting like 200k cash an hour and 50k exp at brine rats with bronze knives at 85 range no prayer. thats better then anything suggested so far but still very bad imo. Tank ranging is always more exp then safing so keep that in mind as well.

Super heating mithril bars is about break even for 53-59k mage, 30-33k smithing exp an hour. its annoying and alot of banking, so you gotta be fast. a more enjoyable alternative is super heating iron ores. its around 80k exp an hour mage and like 18-20k an hour smith or so. it costs less then alching last time I checked. and you can buy these items easily in mass. Super heating is the most efficient way to train mage f2p
  8. ive killed around 10k fire giants for slayer or so and I got 1 dmed. it probly has a similar drop rate to a visage or something. its just very rare. Ive gotten left half from them as well, i think spear/med/left half all have same drop rate from giants but this can be false. just off of what friends have gotten and stuff
  9. In my opinion, the chest plate isnt that good, and doesnt really have much uses. For slayer and training im a strong believe in prossy top with prossy legs or verac skirt and pray 10% prayer. Its better then using a chestplate imo. Tassets are definately not worth getting imo. Now with that in mind I would sell it. What to spend it on? DFS is bad for slayer/training and a rune defender does better. So I would not use a DFS unless you want to go to arma alot or something. But if that was the case, Id rather get arma gear instead of the DFS. Id buy a whip however, as GS is bad for training. Bursting rock lobsters is a decent idea but unless you can consistantly make like 1m an hour id rather get charms from slayer/waterfiends. Getting herb/farm/con wont do you anything that good except total level, but that may be important to you. However getting 70 con and guilded altar is a good idea if you dont have your own. Other things worth choosing? Getting 99 mage with plank make (if you want the cape) anything past 96 mage is pretty pointless for the cost in terms of effectiveness. Buying a SS for str training if you are training str is a decent idea. Keeping the cash for summoning to be able to afford 88 straight out. (Unicorn is extremely good) Those are my thoughts
  10. My average graahk run is 49 seconds- 50 seconds. 47 is possible. Yes I use mouse keys. If you dont believe me, care to have a race? or time the dude in the runecrafting with graahk, mouse keys video on youtube. I believe he is about 47 seconds. Though I think 46 is possible or so (but who really cares. an average of 50 seconds is good enough) RC is bad profits until 91 (Yes astrals are bad profit if you consider it against 91 rc) Do zmi right to 91 then start making 900k-1m an hour, otherwise no point in trying to earn cash with runecrafting imo, as the exp is horrible without zmi, and the cash is bad till 91 rc. ZMI = 50k or more exp an hour after 75 Rc, (again mouse keys and proper tactics are the most important here) the little things like having your essence, behind the bank all with fire runes, using eniola which is 5 seconds faster then other methods, and things like this are really important here. Also bank all with full bank. Its extremely hard to hit 30k exp an hour with a graahk, 27-29k is more reasonable. but its still pretty slow exp, but the cash is great. its good enough to warrant the dis-use of zmi till 99 unless you hate rc and just want the 99. But even so its more worth it to spend twice as much time and get 250m or so cash unless you really really cant handle it
  11. Ive done 200-300 level 3 clues. (not a massive amount, but enough to know to stop doing them) My best rewards are 1 sara kite and 1 sara helm. both worth 1m nothing else over 100k ever. my average clue is in the 30-60k range. I once had a pure fire lighter clue. 20 minutes spent for 0 gp(2 puzzles in that clue and at least 7 steps) of the 50 or so hours ive wasted doing clues i could have made at least 20-50m doing other things. or gotten a skill half way to 99 Clues are a bad source of cash. I got all these clues off slayer so no time was lost obtaining them. If you are clue farming, then the amount of cash per hour is affected by alot more. spending 10-20 minutes getitng a clue then another 10-20 minutes doing one say you do 2-3 clues an hour and got a lucky average of 100k a reward (unlikely) you are making 200-300k an hour tops. just to put it in perspective, your likely to get 50-200k an hour or nothing at all even. if you have fun doing them then go ahead, runescape is all about having fun. but as a source of cash these are not the way to go. level 1/2 clues are no better really either

    yes blue dragons are a very bad task. they are slow and require alot of banking. and babies are really bad exp. Sugahs, terrorbirds, are better cannonables then banshees and cave crawlers imo. Slayer tower banshees are 22xp ea and spread out. very bad for exp/charms. most tasks can give better loot then this anyways. Kurasks. Rune drops and leaf swords are hardly considered decent profits. at the slow rate of exp and the lack of crimson charms these are very poor. Cave horrors are such a hassle, 600k every few tasks is hardly worth it considering the amount of exp and charms you lose out on. whips and dboots and the occasional d bow is where the main money for more cannonballs comes from. Take it from a 99 slayer that sumona is never worth it. the added few cannonable tasks is not worth the major bad tasks you will consistantly get, and the crimson charms you will lose out on. If you have 100k cannonballs to unload in a hurry and dont care about the summon exp, then go right ahead and cannon away with sumona.

    Charms vary vastly. Sumona gives a huge amount of bad tasks which give green charms. Duradel with a proper set up is almost purely crimsons Cannonables, yes and no. Cannoning trolls/cave crawlers/banshees/basilisks etc is extremely costly and you end up with junk drops/charms. its not generally worth it. the time to afford all those cannonballs will not be covered by sumona task drops, and you will have to do another method of money making, slowing down your slayer progress. Comparing them both, sumona has vastly crappier tasks and is not worth using
  15. On the topic of RC, rc is bad cash until 91, when its about 900k-1m an hour, which is in my opinion the best non merchanting cash in RS

  17. Alright I would just like to know whether SC hammers are worth it for smithing/con/craft Im ok at math but cant really figure this out. I need some help with this, and also with some SC figures In 1 hour of SC, how many items can you get? I heard its like 5 In total for each skill for how long do these tools last? (exp wise I suppose, because thats what they are based on I believe I value all time at 1M/hour how much exp/costs an hour is addy plates? In a set time can I make more money/exp rcing then smithing vs Getting sc hammers, then making the money for half the supplies I would regularly need, then smithing? same question I suppose with crafting green/black dhide bodies and doing con with whatevers efficient? if this to much to ask then sorry, I just would like to know if these hammers help alot/slow me down/ essentially me break even
  18. having alot of friends with 99 fishing this is what i know Fastest exp in game is barbarian fishing dropping the fish (can reach 60k an hour) Needs constant attention to drop after every fish because theres a 3 sec delay before you can catch a new fish Next best would probly be dropping barb fish with mousekeys so you can still semi-afk it Then next fastest is barbarian village fly fishing with mousekeys to drop then shilo, but its not worth it because of how it can hop to other side of river The general best way for most scapers is monkfish to 99
  19. Technically black jacking is best to 99 and can exceed 270k/h with perfection . I hate black jacking and suck at it however so I would just PP lol
  20. Basically, always pay for anything up to and including maples. Dont pay for yews/magics For fruit trees pay up to papaya, dont pay for palms.
  21. Bringing your own logs dont work. Use sara brews if you want and just cut wait and wait a few secs,move. his shots are always in a pattern so its easy to get the timing down and just run back and forth
  22. Teleing to FOG and running west to chaos tunnels is fastest I believe
  23. Besides the SS being best str training weapon in the game, and =/> then zammy spear at fiends (TBH they are almost exactly identical. Its str vs controlled here mainly, though ss may get a few more kills an hour) How does that make it bad? it is the best str weapon in game (d scim blows, also has no crush option, also has no 2 pray bonus) the spec is aweful but who cares. 2 pray bonus does help especially when 10%/piety which is basically the standard for all training now (efficient training that is) Obby sword > D scim as well

    In terms of maxing out all stats to 99 which most people plan to do, training without slayer is a huge waste of time, if your going to get 99 anyways. not to mention the most impressive cape in game. if your 138 cb and 65 slayer, good for you. any one can easily afk those stats. Slay for the cape, but on the way your gonna hit alot of 99s as well. besides its a fun skill with proper block set ups, which you lack.... iron and steels not blocked? heres part of the problem. If you look at it like getting all melees to 99 and summon ONLY. sure waterfiends/lobs/armoured zombies wins, no contest. if your looking at getting all 99s, slayer clearly wins. no point in getting 99 att/str/def/hp all over again cause you were to lazy to train slayer to begin with. Just some input id like to share
  25. doing 82-91 astrals is less cash and less exp for this reason: astrals = 430k cash/25k exp an hour zmi = 60ishk cash/45-50k exp an hour. zmi is basically twice as fast for 350k ish cash less an hour say its 150 hours 82-91 with astrals (to lazy to do exact calculations). so in 150 hours 3.75m exp/64.5m cash 75 hours of zmi gets 3.75m exp/4.5m cash time saved = 75 hours. total exp = same 75 hours of saved time doing double nats = 900k an hour = 67.5m cash, 2250000 exp. total cash = 72m (7.5m more) and your 2m exp ahead..... zmi to 91 is way better
