80 Firemaking, now 80 Hunter. Then thieving to 99 along with 2k totals.

I just hit 79 firemaking, but I don't plan on grinding to 92/94/99 etc. Would it be worth my while to get the Flame Gloves and Ring of Fire for future firemaking? I've seen somewhere it's not worth the time/cost but I'm just wondering for sure.

15 seconds? That's enough time for you to switch to full melee gear, do either 2 AGS Specs, 4 dds Specs, 2 dds Specs + 1 Ags Spec, etc. That's way too long. Maybe for 1 attack length but 15 seconds is an eternity when pking.

I really should train Agility or RuneCrafting lol...
