The amount of tokens that you will use vary. as long as you have the highest defender drop that you have received with you, you will be able to get the next highest one. Some people have used only 1000 tokens to get to rune while others have use 3000+. Its all up to luck.

You might want to get rid of the Ring of Wealth and replace it with a ring of dueling or ring of life.

I wholeheartedly agree with UW. Range is way better than melee. Even if you are killing in a team you get slayer xperience so it may be better if you just scratch soloing and just join a team.

I'd go with Hunter. It can be way more profitable. At level 83 you can hunt Dragon Implings which may not give much experience but sell for 400k each
