I'd most definately melee them. Use a D Long if you cannot use a D Scim and do not have access to a whip. Remember to take your anti dragon shield. Banshees are like level 30 in the slayer tower i believe. Just use iron knives. No point in using steel/black edit: banshees are level 23

If you are killing for money I would kill Green Drags.

There are either Baby Blues in the Taverly Dungeon. Or you could kill Baby Blacks in the Chaos Tunnels. Personally I'd just kill Green Dragons and Collect Regular Dragon Bones as well as Green Dragonhide.

I'm pretty sure you still profit even if you buy logs. That is with yews by the way. I dont think you profit at all with mages.

Lighting the Beacons really wont be too hard. Load them all before you light them with yew logs. Get a T Bird and get to it.

Are you looking for just quick power training or are you wanting to make money as well? For powertraining I'd advise Rock Crabs at Relekka or Flesh Crawlers at the Stronghold of Security (Barbarian Village). For money, you could do hill giants and collect Big Bones or you could start training slayer. I think Vannaka in edgeville Dungeon assigns tasks at lvl 50 combat edit: at fleshcrawlers if you pick up various herbs and runes you can make some profit as well.

If they ever make it where you will need a Luciens Pendant to get to an area they will make it where you can reobtain it. They wouldnt want to make all the people that sided with the good PO'd

I'd go with monks. You catch them twice as fast if not faster so you'll actually feel like you are accomplishing something.

I'm pretty sure that you can use the Assist option to make the helmet provided you have learned how to make them. Just find someone with 55 crafting and request assitance on them by right clicking. And it is an uncharged Black Mask.

From what I've been told blue dragonhide is just about the same as green dragonhide regards to cost.

One of my friends she lvled her attack from 95-99 by killing the armoured zombies from the Defender of Varrock Quest. She used torags with Whip, Defender, and Salve (e) and monkfish then when she was out of food she would bank at Bounty Hunter.
