but even if your in combat with another monster, say green dragons which is not a multi-combat zone thay have the power to interrupt combat, something pkers never had the power to do

okay first off I'm not talking about investing in the grand exchange merchanting and such, I'm talking about buying dragon legs. My question is if i buy them will they be good enough to actually make monster hunting/slayer easyer? are they worth 600k?

Good point with gravestones the econemies actual change will be nihil. but didn't they say in an update that you would actually loose your equipment when you died? I myself might play Runescape a bit more if I like the update, now the only thing I do is merchanting trough the ge : . It's been my understanding that should one person die to another, they will drop their items in the same manner as it was with the old Wilderness, skulling and everything, but the items dropped will disappear altogether and replaced with the rewards based on the impressiveness of the kill, which the victorious player picks up. Gravestones are illogical, unless the victorious player must destroy it to receive their reward. The economy will change massively , but for the better. But keep in mind that it will only change for the better if jagex finds out how to give accurate drops, I would want more from killing a level 100+ players in full guthans or something to that effect, then say 200k

well I would say rs will never be the same if jagex manages to pull this off correctly, the drops will have to be super accurate for the kill, there has to be some real action and thrill

True but once you have established a spot, say the fire giants lair, you are more or less safe from getting pk-ed, but the revenents are capable of crashing the party in a metter of seconds.

The purpose of this thread is simple, in your mind what is the single most important thing that has ever happened in runescape. Be it you getting to 99 fletching or a more global event like the release of the GWD. Explain why you think this is the most important event if you feel like it.

Many of us know that a while ago runescape was changed forever with the RWT update. I was one of the many who was frusterated about this, but thats not the point of this article. While I was doing a slayer assingment today I was chased out of my area by a ghost. I was extremely mad when it would first hit me with magic, then archery then walk up and mele me. I thought to myself "not even a pker of 5 years with so much pking experience could transition that fast. Its like the ghosts are wearing mystic-rune-skin armor and attacking with a crossbow that shoots magical dragon daggers, thats just not right! And so I later went back into the wilderness to settle the score. After a long fight I managed to kill one and to reward me for my efforts I received a steel kitesheild and 3k, I lost money of food. All in all I want this discussion to be about weither of not their drops should be increased. I myself think this would be a good thing because back when the wilderness was a mosh-pit a player like that would be carrying well more then 3.5k worth of equipment.

I honestly don't get why a lot of people say "Sports are the best!" One main agrument for extreme athlets is "sitting around all day is bad for your health" keep in mind that in a contact sport painful broken limbs, torn ligiments and (personal account) shattered teeth are not uncommon. I take pride in what I do, be it kicking a ball around or killing a dragon without moving a muscle, I am proud.

pfft...I have only 1 real good friend on runescape that dosn't go to my school, me and him go back for 3 years...met the guy while I was training crafting, I needed silver and he needed mining xp. (we were both f2p back then) we put 2 and 2 together and decided he would mine the ores and I would make things with them. even since then we have pretty much done a lot together, cool long quests, mole killing, pking, cutting yews, we even decided to both get members at the same time. This story ends on a sad note however...I received an e-mail from him that said basicly along the lines of this "This is not (I'm not gonna post his name) this is his mother. Sadly three days ago (my friend) was in a terrible accident whilehe was on a bike ride. A car hit him while the driver was intoxicated. He died the following day." the message was longer but I hope you get the point. When I got this message I cried. My friend passed away on july 19th 2006. Now don't tell me that I can't be friends with somebody online.

The G.E can be a real lifesaver, need to grab some runes quick before you head out on your next adventure, sell the spoils later? We've all been there. But in light of recent events, the promise of good ole' PKin' has caused the market to do cartwheels, I bought full veracs for under three mil. what has the world come to?

one time I said to one of them them prove it and he logged in as a lvl 71 with rull rune and a rune battleaxe...we dueled and I won and he complained that I had used a protection prayer (I hadn't though)

honestly your sitting in school for hours on end so why does runescape get a bad rep?

Castlewars has always been one of my favorite mini games in RS but lately I have been seeing lots and lots of people who are at such a low level they can only hert their team by taking up a space that a level 100 could have taken. I think there should be a level requirement of at least 50 total combat level to make the games more exciting, your thoughts?
