It's there to put an end to quote chains and +1 posts. It hasn't happened recently on OT but it probaqbly goes on in the other forums. I have only ever seen that in LOTPW, though I'll admit I'm not a very widely-posted forumite. It seems like a useless feature, and for some inexplicable reason it offends me. <.< It looks like the Tip.it forums are slowly turning into Shoryuken's forums, but with a better reply interface. You probably can't see it if you're not a registered member, but there is a "like" feature, and no one has a problem with it.

Getting used to a state that you have not been to in seven years. Unfortunately for some of you, I did make it safely to Norcal.

My dad and I apparently loaded the trailer wrong. It was a little bit heavier in the back than in the front, causing the imbalance. Thank God no serious damage was done. Now I'm back on the road on my way to California. We just left the trailer back at my grandparents' house to prevent future screw ups. Smartest idea ever.
