it makes alot of sense. if you train at GDS or other locations for some hours, you'll find that the same monster never drops the rare item twice in a row, so if u get a rune large, your gonna wait 30-60 mins for the next one, perhaps longer. this rule is reset when the server refreshes, meaning the rune large the demon dropped 1 min ago is liable to be on the monster again after a server reset, meaning you can in theory gain 2 rune larges in 5 minutes from the same monster, and in theory 4 rune larges in 5 mins , as there are 2 demons ;) get it ? I understand what you're saying, i just think it's wrong. As far as i'm concerned, the way rare drops are worked out on rs is the same as spinning a roulette wheel. The chance of getting a 0 is always 1/37, even if you're juve got a 0. For what you're saying to be true, the rare system would have to remember where and when rare drops are given out, then calculate another random number basedon that to predetermin when the next drop will be. Tried it at least 20 times. Its worked almost every time after 10-15 minutes. Dunno if others have mentioned it. How do you want to get the same result, when the result depends on the server update?

heh, imagine a virtual reality Runescape... you have to 'pick up' a pickaxe and 'swing it' to mine... macroing would be easy, get a monkey to do it for you :P

You might be right, i likewise experienced in Rs1 pking, that i hit alot better if I equipped bronze and a r2h , than full rune and a r2h.

Would be mad good, if Jagex one day released some of their game code, allowing programmers to modify the game and make their own shards.

i log on about once or twice a month to do a little training at iceys in wildy. they tear up your armor and make you eat food. but ALWAYS! and i mean ALWAYs, when i've eaten my 24 swordies, they start sucking. i used 5 swordies to kill 24 iceys, now i have no food in my inventory ( im training as i write this) and i've killed 30 iceys and lost about 10 hp all in all. this happens every traniing session i have. why do we hit more, and monsters hit less, when there is no food in inventory ??

took 5 yrs for this topic to come up, i doubt they are close to changing this minor detail :D

We need a shard with about 3 servers where pvp is allowed in ALL ZONES except towns. Who agrees?
