Why are P2Ps..
They might have friends here. They might have to meet with an f2p'er to do a business transaction. They might be checking shops on f2p for items. They might be trading f2p items. They might just want to be on f2p because they can. Why are u asking this question sometimes? Like, whats so interesting about a p2p'er on f2p ? We don't own f2p, p2p paid for f2p, so its their turf too.

Do you have friends that think runescape is stupid???
Gutterball is awesome! I'm cheap, so I never got the full version, but it's a good game. is it not legal to firewall games like RS on public library machines??

A useless(ful) tip.
I tend to agree with Unitedite. The most straightforward way of implementing a loot table for a monster is to assign probabilities for all the items that the monster can drop. The drop is determined by a random number computed at the time of the monsters death in conjunction with the preassigned probabilities. A ring of wealth would just tell the system to use a slightly different loot table with higher probabilities for the best items (and lower for the rest). The only "do this to get better loot" scheme that I know of that might work is the "take more damage to get better loot" strategy. Even then, if it does work, it's small effect. But only Jagex really knows for sure. im not trying to explain the [mod edit: please don't evade the censor] combat system either, im giving a tip that can be put to use, as i've put it to use. what more is there to it?

A useless(ful) tip.
rare drops are random, but so are all other drops, sometimes monster don't drop anything at all. and i seriously doubt that its pure luck . for the last time, if your not going to put this tip to use and find out yourself, you might wanna post somewhere else, because i know this tip works

A useless(ful) tip.
it makes alot of sense. if you train at GDS or other locations for some hours, you'll find that the same monster never drops the rare item twice in a row, so if u get a rune large, your gonna wait 30-60 mins for the next one, perhaps longer. this rule is reset when the server refreshes, meaning the rune large the demon dropped 1 min ago is liable to be on the monster again after a server reset, meaning you can in theory gain 2 rune larges in 5 minutes from the same monster, and in theory 4 rune larges in 5 mins , as there are 2 demons ;) get it ? I understand what you're saying, i just think it's wrong. As far as i'm concerned, the way rare drops are worked out on rs is the same as spinning a roulette wheel. The chance of getting a 0 is always 1/37, even if you're juve got a 0. For what you're saying to be true, the rare system would have to remember where and when rare drops are given out, then calculate another random number basedon that to predetermin when the next drop will be. I can't believe jagex would put in such a complicated system when my version is so much more straightforward. okay mr scientist, but unless you've exploited this tip, i'd suggest you.................................................................................................. go try it? if your one of those ppl who can only survive with facts and numbers, well.. im sorry on your behalf  but to put it simpler so even you can fathom it i'll try to explain in a simple way.. 1.monster have item. 2.monster drop item 3.server refresh 4.monster have item again instantly, just waiting to drop for you now go away human, we busy So you're saying that each greater demon only has 1 rune large, and has to wait until the next update to get a new one? im definitely not saying that, can i hit you?

at the time, i never left GDS (greater demons) before having at least 2 larges, worth 80k at the time, more than a rune plate was ;) so ya im sure

A useless(ful) tip.
just having a server update, i came to think of this while i was boring myself. a trick i used some years ago when i took money seriously in this game. whenever a server goes down it refreshes when it comes up again. meaning monster drops also refresh. i used this oppurtunity to be the first at the greater demon drops (being f2p only) and get the rune larges. so if ur an item hunter, stay near the good monsters next server update,

Rune's original color
It was purple. Andrew and Paul used to walk around way before the real rune was introduced, with a purple rune helmet. there is also a picture with a rune 2 hander in purple.

The Knowledge Base - Jagex vs Fan Sites?
It was #1 for the obvious reason Andy paul and Ian posted on the forums :P Just kidding Tip.it was great then and still going strong. I think Oergg said it best on another Topic, Jagex will never be against the fansites, since the fans are the main source of new customers. Well both of those things are true :P And Bluerose with Dmonik did all their business on Tip.it, no doubt it was a great boost the whole period she was miss monopoly 8)

lag today
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lag Deal with it. Its not my end of the connection. ;pp All other sites are fine for me :) And how can I deal with something that is not wrong with my computer? Albeit Runescape can be played at 56k and is written from a Java based language, I think it takes up slightly more resources than a web page. By slightly, I mean a lot. Trust me, 99% of the time it's something user end that causes the lag. maybe. but most of the time it is fine for me and I have a 2.2mb connection with only my internet running. And most the people on that world were getting it too. Ah, so change your server. Or better yet, stop downloading the horse pr0n :!: Sounds like you know what youre talking about... :P personal experiance? :D No but my pet monkey experienced the exact same thing ! One strange monkey.... How funny you say that.. His brother won't stop saying it.

The Knowledge Base - Jagex vs Fan Sites?
I doubt its to lash out at fansites, some years ago Runescape.com had a top5 runescape fansite list, where tip.it was (not surprisingly) #1.
