When I play the special infected ,as well as the survivors heads, turn invisible from time to time (it usually happens near water). Is there anything I could do to remedy this?

I did not. Did you know all polar bears are left handed? Well obviously you coudn't actually do it, but if you could contain the energy and keep it constant it would be about equal to that.
