I would imagine Jagex would have thought about the pure Vs People with Summoning, and I imagine Summoning will be usful in battle. Just a thought.

yes it is a lil different knowing that you get something but pk is just click player pray pot eat type "rawrz...u a newb" eat again eat again eat again re pot pick up winnings * if member add a spec or 2 in there and your only thinking of one skill there are many skills to keep people enteratain why pk for items when you can just buy it with skilling money pk'ing makes me yawn but it is a preference so do what you like Re-reading through, I wasn't going to bother to say anything, but I will. That will take 'X' amount of lobsters, if I can catch - bank - 'X' amount in an hour, this will take 'X' amount of hours to do, then I have my new item. That is all well an good, you have "Earned" Your item, what ever that meens. Ok, Pking; AFK/Click for 'X' amount of hours, get the desired stats, thinking to your self 'Yes, now I have 0wnzag3r3dd3zzz stat0rz I shall whip 4Zz..." You head out to the wildy (Or BH now..) You find somebody roughly your level, /heart-races/pray/pot/click/hope for the best/heart races/WON! Ok, you won so your 'X' amount richer and you have "Earned" the riches that fell at your feet, your feeling good so you repeat. Find somebody your levelish - Repeat method, DIE! Now your 'X' amount poorer, to me the risk for gain was what made it enjoyable not the "get rich" Idea of it but that I could lose just as quick as I would win, I did alot of dieing an alot of winning it was alot of fun doing both to be honest. It's all kind of like Monster hunting Vsing a boss or what ever these days, kinda the same thing, yes? Does it, or does it not take some form of skill (Inclusive of stats) to beat a Boss? Somebody with 90 90 90 and does Boss trips regular does have a better chance than a noob at a boss with 99 99 99. Same thing with PVP. A boss is not alot different to a player, but they have a mind of there own, when to eat, what to pray with, an there players setup. I just wanted to adress that there is skill in PVP'ing, quiet alot. Kinda same with skilling, whats the best method, where to chop tree's for least crowding and closest to bank trips ect. This game is skill based in most of what you do albeit alot of mindless clicking. I spose it all boils down to - Don't we all just love this game haha. :thumbsup: But, why did all this anomonisty {sp? sorry} come from against each other. When the wildy was taken out or what? Because there really seems like a rift in the community except for those whom do everything in game possible. Someone who makes a lvl 3 skiller gets dissed for what shall he do with his riches? And the lvl 60 with 1def gets bagged out for being 1 def with insane strength. My question really is, when did all this start. As like I stated previously. When I left, it was nowhere near as bad as since I've rejoined.

I did mention that I do play for both pvp and monster hunting. I feel as though just monster hunters are never complaing, being hated on, or really anything of much - so I didn't dwindle on monster hunters too much. As also alot of people who focus on pvp also focus just as much time, more so even these days than ever with the wide variety of high-end monsters, are almost one in the same in my opinion. But not totally I'm sure.

Ok, first things first; This wasn't made as a who is better than who thread - flame war starter - or bla bla anything thing of the like bla bla. When I used to play before I quit in 04/05 pkers an skillers where one in the same, MOST people did everything, after a while people became more focused on either one or the other but people didn't hate each other for what they did in this game either they would mingle with each other, or they wouldn't, no hatred for a woodcutter, no hatred for a pker. The thing I don't and can't understand is how and why, people over well more so the last 3 years. Is how people have come up with the attitude of pkers are smelly little arrogant kids whom want every bit of gold you earned "pk'd" with in but a few seconds. Then the other attitude is, from what I can see - Pkers think people who skill are mindless for clicking on tree's all day as they play. People play a game how they want yet on this one, your flamed for doing what you want to do. Now, I will say I play this game only for the player vs player and also monster hunting, it will get my heart racing fighting a tough player or monster compared to that skill lvl goal being acheived. Now I have done both skilling and pvp/monster hunting, and I chose the specific part of the game I enjoy most. Yet I find if I go to do something different or tell people my stats I get flamed (in game or forum) for having so many lvl 1 skills - yet I have done it all before but nobody listens so I've gave up defending my self, either I get called a lier or just flamed for what ever... But, where did all this anger for each other come from? I looked back on topics when the wildy was removed, alot of people cryed an yelled - yet not long later people wanted nothing to hear of it. Fair enough you can only listen to people cry for so long till you're sick of it, but isn't that how come JagEx would have gotten some of there idea's from, in amongst all the crying, some people had good ideas an thoughts on the matter. One bloke in a thread even went as far as to say; I don't get how this bloke can have this attitude towards one section of players. Why are pkers losers, an why do they/we have to suffer? People have said pkers are very arrogant, mouthy, 'make up honor' rules that they don't abide by. Yet I disagree, I feel as though in every group there are good an bad. This bloke here is one example of how there is good an bad, obviously a skiller, an obviously arrogant. Now I could dig up something simmilar from a pker showing is arrogance, but wont - But plenty out there I may add. I have been on an off this forum for many years - And do remeber when this forum was mostly pkers - Now seems to be skillers - fair enough, just an open, honest, no flaming discussion is all I ask for. And thank you for views/replys on this matter. One last comment; I've tryed to word this the best I could with out taking sides or anything of the sort. I agree with this guy... BUUUUT, I'm very pleased about the pvp worlds update, has made my coming back 3monthes ago worth while. Hope for the best - will be trying it out on f2p before I go on p2p to play though. Just to get a feel for it. Also that way its more like the old days. !!!PLEASE GODS OF RUNESCAPE - FOR THESE WORLDS BRING BACK THE 3-HIT SYSTEM!!!

Well I made this account a couple of monthes ago after quiting since I dunno, either 04 or 05, when ever they stopped updating our rsc highscores, I left pretty soon after an never transfered over to rs2. So anyway, came back an with a new account came new challenges, making a duler turned out bad an I was allready to higher lvl for low-lvl-bh, so what do I do? Make a med lvl f2p-bh'er so thats what I'm doing, currently 97 f2p/102 p2p, an looking to max out 100combat f2p. I'll stick with attack for a few lvls up to a minium of 80 then what lol? Str or more attack, prayer needs raising or leave it? What!111 Lol please no comments about skill total ect, I've done it all before on my old acc, an more stats would be lvl 1 if it wasn't for a few needy quests. This account is roughly 3 1/2 monthes old now, so I'm trying lol, can only do but so much in so little time unless doing 12hour+days... :wall: :thumbsup: Sorry couldn't think of a better title.

Well for the time I've been back, I could have 'no lifed' for the past 2-3 monthes but I havn't, I've done the best I could have in the time I've played. I guess I'll just do my stats as I go along an see what I come up with. :roll: As I said, I don't want to be the best, just above the average, which so far I think I'm doing, least I hope.

Yeah yeah, I see where you're coming from, range does dominate over mage untill the higher levels, but to me I have never liked range even since in rsc days, and also mage seems to be rather impressive at higher lvl's, so yeah I do have a goal of alc'in to 94 mage, but mellee stats are my main concern at the moment. Also, what other armor would be reccomended, if my current set up is not so good?

I'm considering getting 80-82 attack an maybe 80 defence, more so not for pvp, but for the high lv' monsters ect, good idea?

Wouldn't mellee and mage be enough in most if not all situations? Mellee up close an mage from a-far?

Got 87 strength last night brining up the 800 total skills and 30k from 80hp so yeah lol. \ I thought maybe some more advice would have been given? (I've had a skirt most of the time as they where cheaper but drag legs with my current uhh forgot the name lol -body plate- legs look much cooler) =P~ Anybody got anything else to say/ #-o

Mmk people, well I'm making a purpose built character, to fight, whether it be pvp or monster hunting, it's the part of the game that I love the most, but since I last played and everybody had rune/r2h, alot has changed. So my question is, am I wearing the right git-up for general training and also pvp (Note: Use whip for pvp an high monsters). I know all about the F-Torso, but dislike the minigame so I havn't got that yet. Also, I plan on lvl'ing mage to something decent (94 maybe) but would like to focus on my strength first. I got 73 (from 72) attack after new clan wars release so I'm not doing attack as I find I get enough xp from the whip in fighting as aposed to purposly training my attack at the moment. Cheers! And no I'm not the richest as I can't get on my old dueler an drop trading is un-do'able now. Am I wearing the right gear? How are my stats looking for pvp? Any good lol? (Please note, I don't want the 'best' char around, to many crazy characters nowadays, just something a bit better than the rest around my lvl, cheers!) Here is where I got to an then decided to totally revamp my stats, I did have most skills lv 1 but as for a couple of quests needed doing so I had to raise a few ( :( ) .. Lol 23 quest points ftw, (YES I havn't done dragon slayer, no I don't want advise to do it...)

Giant spiders, no drops - good xp.

tad over 3k, an something like 250k xp towards str, meh it was frustrating, that was from bronze to rune. Usally Im very lucky with drops - This, wasn't. Use a Ring of wealth I used one from mith to run an got in about 500tokens, 2.5k roughly from bronze to mith drop though. :lol: :evil:

Returned to make a dueler - Found out dueling is pointless.. Making a med lvl f2p/(maybe p2p) bher (really waiting for pvp worlds) How is this account looking? I just did all neccisary quests and finished smoking kills quest tonight lol, you don't need to grow the cat, just feed it ect when it's hungary, you can do the quest when it is a kitten. Btw^^ Ankous would be better if you could find a world with no more than you an 1 other person, 4-5ppl per world makes that place blow, an I trained there a fair bit for a short stint of roughly 500k xp.
