  1. Ok, well I have a pure that is still able to be used on classic, but is it worth me to get him p2p and go pking on him? He is rather a wealthy good stat'd character, but does anybody still pk on these worlds? Or nobody pk's on these worlds or what? Whats now the go with RuneScape Classic servers. So is pking and dueling still alive?? Please only post if you're active in these worlds... :wall:
  2. Lol. :ugeek: Stick with your main. \
  3. I am forever getting closer and closer to my fav' skill to 99 --- STRENGTH --- Couldn't care less about the cape, I know I'll have much fun with 99 strength, as I've wanted it since my first main back in classic, cape will be a bonus which I will flawnt with pride though when I get it... Bring it on. \ :ohnoes:
  4. I've got my new account to its current lvl's in 7 monthes of 'moderate' play. Just chose your time and be pro-active in what you do. Yes, anything is possible in rs, and what he has done in 2 years is very acheivable. :wall:
  5. I have no idea, but people shouldn't asume there will even be an economy, exessive time play to get to a desired lvl, this game make acturally take 'skill' as to why Jagex have said it will be for the 'older' class of player. Hope that it takes more skill to play and 'win' anyway.
  6. Does anybody have a link to where I can read more about this? I havn't read or heard much of it, and might be interesting to have a bit of a read.
  7. It seems like people have grasped the idea of what I was thinking. Good to see.
  8. I do relise this method, but what I sugested was just a simple OPTIONAL extra that if you and a friend or two, wanted the same task, at the same time, it was simple to do. The way you talked, yes it is simple enough to just go on CC and see who wants to do what, Woodcut, fish, Pk, what ever, but it could always be more envolved than what it is. Wouldn't you like more quests that require a minimum of, 5 people to complete, or 10, or heck 50 even? It's all just what I would think are small simple updates that could make a few certain areas more fun in the game, thats all.
  9. I do think that everybody wants more stuff to do with each other. Always talk of, how to update a skill, or how to update what ever. I really do think that this would be liked by everybody on a whole, not just updates focused to different sides of the comminity (EG: PVP/QUESTs) Ect. It would be appealing to all is what I meen.
  10. Runescape is very much of a solo game, and yet could become so much more of a interactive. It is implemented into other popular online games very well. The main loved skill by most of the population is slayer, wouldn't it be much more fun to go to a slayer master with 1 or more friends and get a task together. Still a random monster, just that everybody involved in the party would get the same one. I don't like slayer, but if it was updated like this, I would really enjoy it. Jagex tryed doing this with the LootShare option, which works well to an extent, but could and should be expanded upon. It could be implemented into other skills to make them more of a social thing, at the moment, sure you can woodcut together, fish together, but being in a 'party' should alow for shared xp and product ect. Share a quest, where both people must be doing the same thing the whole way through before the party could continue. Meening you must never leave a fallen player behind. Another thing that is sorta silly is, you should have a 'main board' to which you can have 1-3 (or more, say max of 5) characters, in which you can share items with. It would alow the people who train there mains, share GP with there lvl 3 skiller, or there pker. It is not like it's cheating, you made the money legit, and your not duping anything, just sharing among your own characters. This was a practice despite the rules used often back in classic, known as 'drop trading'. But to make it so that it is legit and a more fun way to make new characters. I personally would think that more people would have more accounts if this was allowed, meening Jagex would make more money with more p2p subscripers. Discuss, and expand on the idea maybe? Please don't make this thread about the whole drop trading thing, it was just a last minute idea I am more interested in how jagex could make the game more socialy interactive.
  11. Thanks alot! I'll be trying out the monkeys shortly. =D>
  12. Each skill including mellee stats needs higher lvl things so that once you hit 99 you unlock something new. From 1-99 there needs to always be something new every few lvls. Going from say 80-85 odd through to 99 unlocking nothing is kinda well, not the best.
  13. On the whole slayer thing, I just can't enjoy it, I wish I did but being told to go fight this, an ya get a task like Jellys, It's so unsatisfying. Honestly, I play this game to have fun, an chat to different types of people, I don't enjoy slayer so that's why I don't go much on it. I do relise that majority of the runescape community all love this skill and find it very fun, I don't. An we all play this game to have fun. In the time I was there, people didn't like talking to much lol, an got bored there. I will go back sometime though sooner or later as I found it an interesting and fun change. I noticed Chains are down to 6.5 or something now though. Ah yeah, have to get 75 defence now lol. Bandits do always still seem packed though, so I wouldn't say it's "dead". Can be hard to find a free server sometimes. Yeah, I go there occasionally, try out different types of dragons also for something different. 250k (gp) an hour up in chaos tunnels is really pretty good. But once again, ya don't get a chance to talk to people much because ya for ever running in, an back out lol. Anybody else?  EDIT: Off to bed tonight, so I hope the TIPIT community can give me some new places to try and keep me enthused for my training. Keep posting places fella's Also, what are the; I think they're called 'Zombie Monkeys' like for xp an hour? I remember seeing them when I did Monkey Madness quest, I like the idea of constantly using prayer, I relise alot of concentration, but must be decent xp unless they have mad defence. With them, do you need to just run up to where they monkeys start shooting you an get put in the jail, then sneak around like you do in the quest to get to them? What's the method for these. I'm very interested in giving them a shot tomorrow so any help on these I would give you a HUGE cookie and a thumbs up.
  14. Why 75 defence? What unlocks then thats worth while? (I was staying at 70, but a couple of quests an thinking I was doing attack but doing defence ruined that idea lol) You or anybody able to answer original few questions?
  15. Lol, I quit when rs2 came out came back not long ago an made a new account, so when I came back I guess I was/am stuck in my old ways... Str > Att > Def Strength is most fun for me personally, so I do that. \
  16. Stats are in sig, not keen on skills as I dislike doing things I don't like doing lol. I would like some new monsters to try out and make some money while continuing on my path to 99 strength (95 atm) (No Slayer Pleaaaaaase) And prefer no bosses as i can't be bothered right at the moment but can say which ones to go for, still haven't done ANY bosses, I just usally do pvp an that. When you say a monster, could you also put rough XP rate an money per hour. I did ankous at a lower lvl, that was ok money. Done dusties for charms an found a pretty chain on the floor in less than 1k kills, an only been back once an got 450 charms, so I will have to go back for more to finish of getting 68 summoning. Dusties seem alot better because I get smacked at Waterfiends lol. At the moment, Bandits are boring, where are the other power training spots (Similar to bandits, focusing on xp ect)? #-o
  17. I don't really lag much, though thats beacause fast conn an decent comp, 112 is my home world I always use unless I'm doing something I need a specific world for.
  18. 22minutes and 33 seconds. Dunno, nothing been said that I know of. :wall:
  19. I remeber all the 'good ol days'.
  20. Has nobody done a list on each an every skill, getting it to 99? Expensive way (EG: Super setting at Bandits for 99 str/Chins to 99 range) Time; Cost; Explanation Cheap/Average way (Training str around the world casualy/Knifes to 99 range) Time; Cost; Explanation; I'm not telling anybody to do it (Unless there is a thread on it somewhere = Link please), but it would be an interesting read and stop all these my cape is better than yours threads comments.
  21. Awsome another 99 skill thread...  Isn't everybody sick of posting and commenting in these by now? #-o
  22. Though the new PVP update was not what I hoped for I was estatic for it coming back and happy for what it is. So to see this section of the population now happy, I am glad to see the keen skillers/questers got at least close to what they wanted, an a good reward for having done every single quest up to date. =D> Grats to all/
  23. Grats.... #-o
