I agree! Making the game better is so bad! Seriously, why would we report people and make the game better wtf that makes no sense at all@@@ /sarcasm. Like I said before, you shouldn't be worried, maybe he'll learn his lesson and play the game fair. I have one point to make though, many people in this topic compare this situation with like driving drunk or taking drugs. Seriously, that has nothing to do with it. Driving drunk or taking drugs is the same situation but have different impacts. They are dangerous, I don't see anything dangerous about macroing so just stop comparing those two. You did the right thing. And did your friend get banned or do you have any news about it already? What impact does it have, other then this kid macroing he would have maintained; a social life > gaming on rs. Whilst getting mediocre(sp?) stats. To be honest, I have no problem with somebody mac'n 99 melles an dominating me, no problem someone macroing 99 thieving and becoming super rich. It was more noticable in RSclassic the effect it had, I don't see how it matters as much these days. People will play as much as someone macro's now, so what's the difference? I come back to my original argument, people stand by Jagex like what they say is the LAW of society, when it is a game, in games people cheat don't matter what it is. I give up. :wall:

I have a very small list, I wont add someone over a 5 minute talk we just had. (I talk to more people in my clan than anything) I had more people talking to me 30 combat lvls ago more than now. But i have more fun now, than then. :geek:

Well, if you're talking about 99 Strength, Prayer is brought up, then I think it's fair to assume we mean 99 Prayer. The 110 he was fighting would not have had 99 prayer. Am I missing a point somewhere along the road here? *goes to re-read the thread* :wall:

He may have worked hard for the high strength, but prayer is even harder and more expensive to train. It's fair game. I got 43-60 in one night - 60-70 in the next night (prayer) Total, maybe 6 hours. 99 Strength took longer and was harder to achive then 70 prayer. Prayer is not harder to acheive. :wall: (except going for 99 prayer)

Herblore wasnt profitable before the GE trust me, I got 80 quite a while before it. If it ever was profitable, it was a looong time ago. Anyway, the oldest skill I remember training to a decent lvl, was 70 crafting. Was in the top 2k back then (was not long after rsc changed to rs2). And trust me, I did loose money by doing it (silver bars). But for some skills, I think the change has come with the skillcapes. I dont really remember, but I think cooking and fletching were all profitable before the skillcapes. And if it already was unprofitable took cook before skillcapes, then it will only have gotten worse cause of them. But like bauke said, it goes gradually. Herblaw, once and still is my 'fav' skill to do (besides combat based stuff) and I used to make a fair bit out of it, buying what I needed ect an then selling the made pots. Duelers would buy super sets for 20k+ as well as pkers if they needed there an then or shortly an nobody around selling. I am getting an idea of what happened now, enjoying reading peoples thoughts though, so with any luck I will get to here more. :) 1. Gradual period of increased players 2. GE; making everything easyer to buy 3. Skill capes

I dunno, but in my opinion. Reporting is bad, mmkay. It's just a game, autoing doesn't physicaly or mentally hurt you. When you play on the ps2 or something, and can't get past a lvl on say 'GTA' have you ever typred in the health cheat? (Just an example, I'm sure 90% of people have in some form of game cheated) just people take a 'high moral ground' in runescape for some reason. Just go about ya own buisness. :wall:

Before I quit when rs2 was released. Skilling made you money. What ever it be, herblaw, cooking (At least broke even trading raw certs for cooked certs at draynor), Smithing, the lot of it. Would all make you money. (FM yeah, ya did lose money but not near as many people trained it like they do now). I came back and not interested in skilling, did my combat skills on a new account, now I'm starting to do skilling again and I find everything you do (besides, fish/mining/woodcutting, ect) all lose you money. If you don't go collect everything you need that is. So yeah, my simple question is when did this happen? With the release of Skill Capes? Or what was it that changed the market from; Taking time to do skilling = Made you money> To Taking time to do skilling = Lost you money. I don't acturally have a problem with it, I accept change. But I was just wondered WHY and WHEN this happen? Have a good new year. :thumbsup:

WOW... Ok, since I re-started 6 monthes ago I've wanted to try out this skill. My goal is 65, I'm currently lvl 2. I've read guides, other peoples posts and questions. But can't seem to understand what to do ect. I'm not looking for super quick xp, more so money out of it to be honest. As I just don't need to lvl it quick. What should I do to what lvl? Change to what, at what lvl? When it sais to check back twice in one day? Is that litteraly our 24-hour day, check back twice in it? Or "Runescape" time (of which I'm un-aware how that works. I'm pretty clueless so even something to get me started what to do from 1-40 as a start. I can always come back with more questions. Thanks!

Hey all, I have usally been a pker but that is old an I wanna do some boss hunting. With my stats in sig (68 summon coming tomorrow - Got the charms :)) I really wanna do some solo boss's!!! I'm really excited with 99 str and soon a bunyip so I wanna do some of these. I don't have a godsword by the way.. So yeah, just some names an I can look them up on the guides on here, or if ya feeling really helpful post a link to a good guide on the particular boss. So yeah, time for some boss hunting, I will proberly go KBD ect because I havn't seen that big dragon since RSclassic lol. What else is there these days????
