The /b/ civil wars are also known as the "Boxxy period". Basicly half of /b/ loved boxxy and the other half absolutely hated. This created two movements inside of /b/: One that focused solely on attacking Boxxy's image, spreading fake accounts throughout the webs. The other faction instead defended boxxy by erasing the efforts of the other chans. /b/ was a huge mess at the time, and that took a long time to end, but during that period either faction was very well organized, almost resembling an army. All it was needed to start a war wasa single post at times. Now it's the same, but instead of being against each other they are targeting other websites. Some deserve it tbh.

That wasn't funny, that was stupid, childish, arrogant and the embodiment on how blunt-headed /b/ is. OT: /b/tards never were so organized since the civil wars, like I_am_Geed said. It's almost scary.

Their argument is that by resetting the tiers they should be able to determinate what's uber or not much more accuratly, which makes sense, but then again who needs testing to know that kyogre and Dialga are ubers?

Aparently, when B&W are released overseas, all tiers are going to reset, essencially meaning a week of Ubers. Also, rumours are you will now be able to see your oponents team before the match starts. Is this the end of scouts?

Well, i hope the 3DS comes out near the holidays, since i will not be buying a DS now it will be on the way. Maybe the third game will be 3DS exclusive? :thumbup:

If the rumors are to be believed, they're working on it [Source] Thinking about it, a Metroid 5 would be interesting. Apparently Other M takes place between 3 and 4, so something after 4... There was a fourth game? Yeah, Metroid Fusion for the GBA was Metroid 4, and the last 2D metroid. That is probably the game i most want made (Metroid 5, in 2D), but i really don't think it will happen.

Well yeah, but aparently this game has a lot of good narration and maybe, just maybe, a genuinely interesting plot. I'd love to know every detail about the story and aftermath, event Smogon, PxP and Serebii only say the locations and such, and not the dialogue. Also, GF might have just pulled the single greatest [bleep]move in history: They remixed Red/Blue champion song, only to give it to the E4 champion.

I think so, but i think the theme, or at the very least a remixed form of it was always present in every game.

Videogames always had good music, and everyone has their favourites. This list I'm making however, will be different from other lists i made. It also seems to convey the feeling that Pokemon has seen some real evolution for the last 10 or so years (let's face it, apart from copetitive changes, pokemon has remained the same). It was not an easy choice picking up Terra's theme, but it ultimately triumphed over the ones of Victory theme and One Winged Angel. It sets the mood right in the beggining of the game, and never lets it drop. Number 7 Ridley- Metroid Other M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBMSZpWPvDI As i noted on my Metroid Other M review, Other M has a lackluster soundtrack. Everything takes a "ambience" approach. But then there's Ridley. For the first time ever orchestrated, Ridley's theme never sounded better. It is action pumped and makes you wana rip him apart. After you have finished having a psychological colapse... Number 6 Final confrontation- Super Mario Galaxy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIuvjG3Egjo THIS is how you make a good boss theme. First, the ominous and grandious drums and male choir. Then the killer strings. Top it off with an escalating combination of both and there you go. I was not expecting such a theme on a Mario game, but hey, I'm not complaining. Fun Fact: This was the spot wher i had the most trouble deciding which theme to place here. SMW theme, Gusty Gardens, Buoy Base, Bobomb battlefield, Slide, Delfino Plaza and Final Confrontation 2 are all themes an inch below this theme. Number 5 Meridian Dance- Secret of Mana http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCfedAxfet0 Another absolutely great boss fight, the Mana beast also had one of the best themes in existence. I don't know why, but everything just... fits in with the fight. I really can't add more, because this music is just... Natural. I knew they were good, but i just couldn't get into them. Now portal was one of those game changers. And this theme pretty much sums the game. Not only that, but it also has this inocent voice singing acts that would be considered terrorist by anyone in modern society. It just adds up for so much. And F-Zero... is not a begginers racing game. It always had some rockin tunes though, being Big Blue my favourite. It seems as if it represents the entire racing Genre. One of the best games ever, and my personal choice of best RPG ever, also had one of the best soundtracks. The Frog's theme always stood out thanks to the situations it was applied, where it always transmited this Huge sense of courage and strengh, motivating you to push further. The best thing is, it seems as if this theme is the embodyment of RPG's in Music. Courage, Adventure, power, emotion, it's all in here. Truly a Masterpiece. But there is no denial TLoZ theme is one of, if not THE most recognizable themes. It is the perfect embodiment of everything a Game can have. Joy. Fear Grandness. Adventure. It is, at least to me, the theme that represents this whole industry. It has been remade countless times throughout history, but my favourites are still the one from Link to the Past and SSBB. I'm soo getting a DS if 3DS doesn't come out by the next spring. Pokemon Black is waiting for me, how can you favour a mecha to an ancient dragon and Wargle and a Power Ranger <.< Aparently Serebii found the 6th sage, aswell as the ice dragon legendary. I'm with ALG in this, Kibago's evo will definatly be Uber before the hydra, don't know about about Mothra though, even the chandelier could be well used in Ubers. Edit: At least from level ups, The Dark Dragon does not get boosting moves. Whichi means it will be stuck in OU, probably being a specs user. Now kibago, Kibago has not only Dragon Dance at early 30's, but it also learns swords dance as Ononokuruso in early 50's. A single swords dance from this thing with completely overkill anything that isn't a steel type. Mothra also gets Heat Wave and Bug Buzz, specs will obliterate in this thing.

Ninetales also gets Draught. Welcome back to OU Exeggutor. Seriously, this Gen will mess up the metagame so much more than gen IV

New abilities link If this is real, OU just got a lot mroe interesting (even more). Speed booster Blaziken outclasses Infernape and Tecnician Mach Punch from breloom will hurt. Also OMGWTFBBQ DRIZZLE IN OU SHELTER YOURSELVES, KINGDRA JUST GOT MAD AT YOU ALL FOR IGNORING IT.

140's are given out like candies, and with good typing and maybe good movepool and abilities, the Metagame will take a loooooong while to shape itself.

Yeah, 120+ stats are being given away like candies. Kibago evo also learns dragon dance and dragon tail, and most likely dragon claw. so yeah, loads of psuedos are going to ubers if the rest doesnt keep up. (which honestly, they seem they will)
