I voted robin, it gives the chance for players like me to have more matches :thumbup: Not only that, but robin tournments usually rely more on skill than in luck, since you only need to be unluck once to be out of a bracket tourment.

So yeah, i defeated the 8th gym thanks to Nathan's increadible tanking abilities and started organizing my team for the E4. So far, i have Camilla (Cameupt), Pierre (crobat), Nathan (Swampert), Magnus (Magneton), Samus (aggron) and Indigo (Vibrava, oing to evolve it). I feel camilla and Indigo aren't going to do much at the E4, camilla has a quad weakness to water and has no Super effectives in the entire E4 and Indigo, even as Flygon, is kinda weak offensive and frail defensivy, with a quad weakness to Ice. I was thinking of placing a Lileep in the team, but i don't know what elso to put. :unsure:

Thoughts? In a nutshell? Looks like a new God Wars is in progress, with Zamorak being sumunned, [hide=]Zaros almost being able to come to this realm[/hide], and the balance being upset, which may cause guthix to awaken, not to mention Lucien with the stone and the Mahjarrat ritual, it seems unavoidable.

It's possible to kill the corporeal beast without loosing a single LP. It doesn't mean it's plausible :razz:

I wouldn't count them, it's just a minigame after all, same with the battle frontier i think. Consider them "watched combats", as if any attack goes for lethal damage, something will stop the conflict and consider the pokemon "out".

Dang, i was hoping i could replace Indigo or camila with a metagross, since Camilla will be pushed to a corner in the E4, since Steven is not the champion anymore, and it has 2 memebers with Water based pokemon. Indigo is just too frail, unless i somehow find a Choice Band before the E4, it won't do nothing. Wich leads me tooooooo can we get a choice band before the E4?

Something similar happened to me on the 7th gym, where after i set up a substitute with Samus, she pretty much Iron Tail's the gym team to death. But my entire team is increadible vulnerable to water. Nathan takes Neutral, Indigo takes neutral, Camilla takes quad damage, Magnus neutral, Samus takes double plus she's weak specially and Pierre dies to an ice beam. Looks like i'll have to grind Magnus a lot, and evolve Pierre to a crobat. By the way, do we get a Beldum before or after the E4?

Yeah, it's my first nuzlocke run, and i REALLY don't lik grinding, which is definatly needed for emerald, due to bad gyms and even worse E4. Still, now i only have 2-4 more revives, and i can't buy any, so yeah, i'm on the tight rope now

I guess so. I made my challenge so i can revive mine for a set number of times (due to crit haxes), so yeah, you can use that as a healing point, not as a pokcenter.

Oh? Do you actually LIKE this update? It brought absolutely nothing to the game except 12 more floors which basically just have different graphics. The ranged prayer, the scroll of efficiency and the Herbinator or whatever seems very usefull. I might do some maths if i's worth getting the scroll to smith mith platebodies instead of smelting gold, but i'll definatly get the herbinator, and when i get higher ranged i will get the new prayer.

YEAH; defeated the 7th gym, too bad 4 of my team fainted, making me waste my last revival herbs, so no more forgivingness. My strategy: Send in Samus (Aran, changed her name) and Nathan, lift a substitute, surfhax with 2 criticals that Claydol (who is a [bleep]), then iron tail lunatone and solrock to death. I learned the hard way solrock has Solarbeam though, O-KO'ed Nathan. So, in sum, Samus is a beast now she is an Aggron.

That is one of the reasons majora never seemed a villain to me. He was just misunderstood, he didn't intentionally want to destroy the world and therefore he didn't want such evil. Gannon is a manipulative genious, who takes second place to pre-nerfed Zant. I can't believe they did that in TP <.< On the note of pokemon, Rocket is the only one that seems an evil organization. Magma and Aqua were a bunch of greenpeace lunatics, and Cyrus was a bit overdone.Team rocket, and specially Giovanni, were the only ones that really looked like villains. They reminded me of an underground Mafia. That and they were the only team to successfully kill a pokemon, aswell as mutilate thousands of other pokemons like Slowpokes and magikarps. That and they capture wild pokemon to sell them for pure profit to stranger who will grind them to death. Cyrus isn't very far behind, but Rocket are just the standart. A very high one. PS: That last note reminded me of a critic who said the following about Wind Waker: "In this game you can break your enemies neck and use it as a weapon to fight it's brethren. You know, for kids!" :lol:

Thank god i did a test run at the 7th gym in emerald, those girls completely smashed me o.O Grinding like hell now, Nathan is lv 43 now, other team changes i'll cover after i defeat the gym.

Chapter 7: We only grow with Teamwork A long time has passed since i last wrote a blog. We have gone through way too much. In several occasions, Nathan almost died to his own insolence. He began moving away from the team. He has been like this since we last visited Petalburg. The memories of Tania must have struck him, and he has been quite quiet ever since. But despite our warnings, he has been more, quote on quote, suicidal. H lunges himself to battle at the slightest thing and never stops til either him or the opponent faints. This drove him to 2 deaths, wasting more of our precious revival herbs. We only have 4 left. As we approached Mt. Pyre, Nathan suddently became calmer, as if the spirits in the tower were talking to him. On the top o Mt. Pyre were Aquas. Unfortunatly, we were too late. Their leader had already taken the Orb he came after, only to run away the next instant. The elders there gave us a new emblem, which i think were it belongs to. As we were leaving, something resembling an Howl resounded in the mountain. Nathan has a new glimpse in it's eyes. As we entered the Magma hideout in the volcano, we battled through hordes of Magmas defending their station of vigilantes. Then, we reached the bottom. The Magma's leader was there, and so was a very odd statue. After a profound monologue, The leader raised his arm and revealed another Orb, this one bright blue, contrasting with the Red one the Aquas stole. The statue came to life as the legendary Groudon, which instantly fled. The magma's leader challanged us for a battle. He sent out at the same time all of his 4 pokemon. Two Mightyenas, a Camerupt and Crobat. I knew what to send. Nathan, Aran, Camilla and Magnus Immediatly bursted out of the pokeballs and started battle. They were all being supressed, when suddently they all began to spark. In a nickel of time, the tides turned sides, as Nathan the Swampert, Aran the Lairon, Magnus the Magneton and Camilla the Camerupt started bashing around Maximillion's pokemon Camilla soon took care of the other Camerupt by causing a magnetude, which unleashed some rocks from the ceiling Aran used to rock tomb the crobat to death. Magnus raised up a reflect, blocking both mightyena's Take downs only to be greeted with a lv 10 magnitude. The battle was over, but Groudon is still out there in the wild. Maybe we'll visit Slateport tomorrow, my brave Team members deserev some rest from all the evolution. As some of you may or may not know, Gamespot is helding a Contest on who is the greates Villain of all time. Their list of nominees include pretty much the staple villains from all mainstream videogames. So, what would be your all time favourite videogame Villain? Mine is certainly Kefka, that man was both insane and a genious, being one of the few who actually managed to destroy the world.

Well, apart from a few exceptions (Grim fandango, starcraft (2), assassins creed2 and Blood Money), there is nothing on that list i like :P I guess our tastes are soooooo very different.
