Chapter 1: A hard note Chapter 2: The island of Doom Chapter 3: Dusk and Shore [hide] After we woke up, we decided we were going to explore the dephs of the Dewford cave. Nicholson learned to glow using a disk a hiker gave us, allowing us to proceed through the dark dephs of the wilderness. Right when we arrived at the deepest dephs, a female Aron aproached us. After a little preliminaries, Aran the Aron joined us. After earing news that Arnold and Homer were having a nice time in the storage system, Amanda decided to stay in there too, allowing me to bring Aran for some action. As we delved deeper in the cave, Nathan defeated a pesky Zubat and started sparkling. Oddly enough, Tania didn't laugh at it. Vanity seemed to be picking on her though. Now Nathan is a marstomb, with a mud shot. He seems to be shaping into a power house in my team. After fiddeling around, we found Steven Devon, delivering the letter to him. He thanked us and started talking like a parrot. Thankfully he also rewarded us with a TM, steel wing i believe. I think i'll hold onto this for a while. Now it's time for Slateport, since we need to finish the delivery Mr. Devon entrusted us. Mr Britney took us to Slateport beach, where Aran could really prove it's worth, by pretty much destroying everything in there. we managed to also defeat the trainers in the Soda House, earning several healing drinks. After delivering the package to this wierd man in the docks, i decided to check out the museaum, since Vanity saw a butterfree around the area. Inside the museaum, there was an entire community of these Aqua grunts. One of them was the one from Rustburo, and handed us a TM, which i'll probably never use. As i climbed the stairs to have a chat with Cpt. Stern, the grunts attacked once again. Aran took them down gracefully though. She seems rather shy odly enough, she doesn't go along well with Tania nor Vanity. Nathan is welcoming enough, but doesn't dig her much. Yogi on the other hand is her best friend, teaching her how to battle and defend herself. The grunts introduced his leader to me, Archie. He asked me if i was a Magma. A question i could not answer since i didn't know that Magma was an adjective but oh well, he left and i finished my delivery with Cpt. Stern. After this incident, i decided to travel north, where we found this odd pokemon. After letting Tania get herself some fresh air, an eletrike appeared out of nowhere and started hitting on Tania. After Tania trashed him a bit i decided to catch him, and so Mandrake the eletrike joined our lead party. Nicholson started missing his good friend, Amanda, and was also happy to be with her again. Mandrake seems to be a heart stealer, but Tania always keeps holding him back, to his desdain. We met with proessor Birch once again, who gave us his phone number and asked us for his daughter. We didn't see her so he presumed we were travelling seperate. Good thing i thought. I hater her... We proceeded north, and it was time to train Tania to a reasonable level. As wewere fighting trainers, i came up with this lass that had a Skitty. Tania should handle this. As the fight went on, nothing could prepare me or my party for what was coming. Skitty started off by using sing and stat reducing moves. Tania was immobile, but i though she could handle it for a big while. Suddently... Skitty winded up her tail and started Tania's destiny: Skitty used double slap, hitting 5 times with 4 criticals. Tania had died. Nathan came out automaticly and started wailing on the skitty like no tomorrow. We won the match at an increadible cost. Nathan and Mandrake cried all the way back to the pokecenter. I had no revivesmso i have no way to bring her back. She is gone. Nathan in particular was very effected by this event. After the funeral cerimony, we came back to our normal routine, mourning the loss of a team member. Nicholson came back to the team, so he could practise his cut abilities. As we came back to the cycling road, we found an house, and a wierd "Trick Master" lived in there. He challenged us for some kind of obstacle course. Easy peasy, both Nathan and Mandrake seemed way more fierce this time. Nathan keeps being the silent Marshtomp he became when Tania died. As we proceeded to throught the lower road of the cycling road. Guess who appeared. Sapphire May. As always, she challenged me for a battle. It went pretty smooth. Aran crushed her wingull with rock tomb and her slugma with the very same move. When she sent out Groovyle, Sapphire mocked us on the death on Tania. Nathan came out on free will and crushed Sapphire's groovyle with bide. After the embaracing loss, Sapphire ran away, dropping an Itemfinder on the way. Usefull i guess. Some skills are missing, but it was EPIC. What was the last skill? I know after Slaying, Thieving came, then what? The order i see is: Farmig, water the seed with an herblore potion, agility, woodcutting, firemaking, fletching, ranged, magic, mining, runecrafting, smithing, lay a trap with hunting, summon a turoth with summoning, trap with hunter and kill with slayer, have a thieving animation to retrieve a gold frame and a ruby and craft it into a ruby amulet unstrung. After that, when he shoots something into the sky i have no idea.

Chapter 1: A hard Note Chapter 2: The island of Doom [hide] Our victory only made us stronger, Vanity soon after the battle managed to score some showtime against our next trainer, and started sparkling again. After a few giggles shared by Tania and Nathan, he became Vanity the Dustox. We proceeded to verdanturf town, battling trainers along the way. The first critter to stand before us was Nicholson the Nincada. He proved to scartch quite a bit, so he became the master of cutting. In the tunnel we sought after ended up being blocked, not only by rocks but by a grunt, who wore a shirt similar to the one we decimated in Petalburg woods. His team was as unninpressive as before, a measy poochyena. I let Vanity stretch his wings on this battle, proving his poison stalling skills once again. A wierd sailor run up to us after our win, thanking us for saving his wingull, Peeko the wingull. After it, he ran off. Maybe he'll prove himself usefull later on. On the way out, we managed to befriend Homer, the wishmur As we came back to Rustboro, the getleman who asked us to return the package that was stolen from him. After returing it to him, he presented me to the director of it's company, Mr. Devon. He seems to actually be the first guy with a functional brain so far, and ask me a deal i can't refure. In trade of handing a letter to his son, who is currently studying in Dewford island, and i get to have a PokeNav, an expensive usefull device. As i go back to Petalburg, so i can ask my Father if he knows a sailor, that Smug Sapphire appears out of the blue and challanges me for a pokemon battle. She now has a wingull aswell as the before mentioned Treecko. I let Tania take out wingull, which almost killed her with a pinpoint water gun. After that, Vanity wanted to show of again (he saw a beautifly in the woods most certainly). His poison harden strategy worked wonders once again. She went all mad again and rushed out of there. As i backtracked to Petalburg, Mr Britney called us and explained he used to be a sailor and offered me a free ride to Dewford island. As i accepted, we flew through the steps and travelled to the island that defeats so many trainers. And as i arrived, i saw a training, with a Mioghtyena's corpse in his hands, rushing to the PokeCenter, crying. As i asked a bystander what happened, he explained to me Brawly had a match with him. His fearsome fighting pokemon decimated this mightyena. I was instantly scared, since my pokemon were nowhere near close to the strengh of a Mithyena. Someone pointed me out to a nearby dungeon, and so i went to train. Many hours passed until i merged from the depths. I came out stronger than before, but at what cost? Hours and hours of battling wild life, one of which, Arnold the Makuhita, almost killed Tania. Nathan was nearly a big Marshtomp, Tania lagged behind due to health restrictions and Yogi is as energetic as ever. Nicholson didn't even want to fight, instead he decided to play with Amanda. Vanity wasn't quite motivated, since the only flying bretheren there were the ocasional zubats. They all become ready for the gym. After batling through the ranks, i finally reached the leader, the dreadfull brawly. Showing of as always, Vanity was the first one. He made Brawly's machop quick work with his poison harden combo, aswell as striking a few confusions. Nathan was next, who soaked up his Meditate, blocking him from Focusing and unleashing some kind of killer tecnique. I heard brawly had a makuhita of his own, which was true. Yogi wanted to do his Gym debut, so i made him that favour and let him brawl through the ranks. Makuhita strangely didn't attack first. At first sight he did seem slow, but not tht much. After a smacking pair of wings by Yogi, Makuhita broke up a Vital Throw. I was scarred seing Yogi an inch from death. Afetr healing him, brawly did the same, but without wasting a turn. He gave Makuhita a berry, the sneak surfer... He ordered Makuhita to take a dep breath instead. I was perplexed, un til i saw it's effects. Makuhita literally raised his muscles to both strenghen his attack, but also his defence. Yogi's wings weren't as effective as once they were. I started pondering why didn't i sent out Vanity? He was more resistant and his attacks were special based, ignoring this strange attack's effects. I said my last words to Yogi, or so i though. After Makuhita breathing exercise, Yogi flew high above and dived again, only to open it's wings when he almost reached the ground floor. Suddently, it hit Makuhita right in thelegs, his weak points. "Critcal Hit" shouted me, Brawly and the Announcer. When striking a critical hit, all defence buffs are ignored and base damage doubled. Makuhita fell, unconscious. I defeated the deadly Brawly. I was speechles, and Yogi exhausted. Everyone started jumping like no tomorrow, happy to not loose one of the original members. Honestly, i was in your situation for a while. I was saving money for a DSlite around mid March, then i heard the rumours of the 3DS and decided to wait. Boy did it pay off :thumbup:

Hawkxs, of course you won't be able to play a 3DS game on a DSi, because it's a brand new hardware! It's like expecting a Gamecube game to play on a N64

Again, the 3D isn't everything to it. It's a whole new hardware with new games and backward compatible with the DS games.

This is a new handheld, not a new itteration of the DS. Its what Game Boy Advance was to the Game Boy colour. And if you think#d is a gimmick, just turn it off :thumbup: And from what i read, the only thing it has better than the wii is the processor.

The titles aren't fully confirmed I think, most of them are their working titles. Pokemon Black & White will be for the 3DS aswell :P No offence, but either list a source or i don't elieve, i've been following that game from almost day 1 and no reference to 3DS title.

Looks pretty awesome. If half of those games are lauch titles, i'll be buying one day 1. It needs more original titles though, from what i ahve seen it has mostly remakes (not a bad thing). Small correction: Pokemon black and white are for the DS, not 3ds

Each zone of the safari zone counts as 1 seperate area and most caves count as one whole area (exceptions include meteor falls and some underwater sections). If a pokemon faints, you can't revive them at a pokecenter. You can only use Revives and Max revives, and you can't buy them. In other words, if a pokemon faints, you need a revive you found on the ground to bring him back to life. You must nickname every pokemon. You can buy 10 healing items from each Mart, after you buy these items you can't buy more healing items. You can't use full heals or Full restores, unless you find them in the road. Shiny clause: You can catch a shiny if you happen to com across one, but unless it is the first pokemon you come across in that area, You have to bank it in the Memorial. She is less of a douche then my uncle Green though. After this i decided to go for a walk, where i found a certain figure running furiosly from a raccoon. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp" he shouted. He offered me a pokemon in case i saved him. I didn't waste the chance and picked this blue blob of cuteness called mudkip. I named him Nathan, Nathan the Mudkip. Sounds nice huh? After annihalating the raccoon, which aparrently was from the Zigzagoon race, Professor Birch took me to his lab where he talked gibberish for a while. In the end, he asked me to search for his smug daughter, May. Her entire name is Sapphire May aparently, looks like someone is way too smug to be using it's first name. Smuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug And so i trekked in search of her, and after leveling Nathan a bit, i found her north of Oldale. Smug as always, she challenged me for a battle. Suddently, she brings out a Treecko. Too bad it's level 5. I amanged to take him out, and then she ran off crying to his Papa. Take that! After giving me a Pokedex, Professor Birch sent me off to an adventure of my own. He said the first Gym is in Rustburo City. Off i go i guess. On my way, a poochyena apeared before me. Before i could say hi, she straight up lunges for Nathan, with a strangely happy grin in her face. Oops, aparently it's a female... A soft tackle managed to wound her enough to catch her. I named her Tania. After going through Oldale, i proceeded to another route, where i catched Vanity, the wurmple. He is always bragging he will one day be a beatifull Beautifly, string to string shot himself and throwing himself out of cliffs. In this new area, i found a few trainers willing to battle, and managed to train Vanity and Tania a bit. Suddently, Vanity started sparkling. Tania, started laughing while showing it's teeth in a vampire fashion. Wurple stoped sparkling and a flash bang blinded us all. He is now Vanity, the cascoon. Nathan and Tania started laughing when they saw Vanity freak out when he realise he wasn't a silcoon. I must say i even broke a laugh or two :thumbup: Anyways, Our father, Nolan Sr. Greeted us in Petalburg, and asked us to teach a kid from Petalburg to catch pokemon. So we went to road 33 and we walk around a bit. Suddently, a ralts appears. Son of a [bleep]. We managed to catch it, and i now dread him for life. Me and my party proceeded to the next road, where we caught Amanda the Marill. After a few pokemon battles with it, i decided to keep it in the box after i had a decent party, and maybe use it for an HM slave. In petalburg woods, the first encounter was of so sweet: Yogi the taillow was caught. He is always energetic and cheerfull, and become freinds with Vanity very soon. But Yogi wasn't the bigger mark here. A gentleman ran up to me and asked me if i have seen a shroomish. No sir, and if i had it would be mine by now, maybe. Suddently, a yopung male approached us and threatned the gentleman. He was dressing as a sailor. Sheesh. Since he didn't have any pokemon, i decided to fight for him. He only had a poochyena, so vanity managed to poison and stall him to death. Somehow, i think Vanity will do allright after moonlight and toxic... I defeated the Sailorman and proceeded to Rustboro city. There was it: The first Gym. I defeated the small trainers and healed in the pokecenter so i can prepare for the battle. Here it goes: The battle started, Roxxane sent out Geodudes, both promptly killed by Nathan. But now she sent out a Nosepass. The fight is on! It started by using block, while i promptly weakened him a lot with water gun. Then what i'm going to hate for eternity in early gyms: Berries. Now water gun is just out of reach and Rock tomb is adding up damage. That and roxxane has potions... Suddently.... BAM Nathan used Water gun It's super effective. Critical hit! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS one hit from dying and i get a critical. Roxxane was defeated and handed me over this wierd badge and a very nice TM for a pokemon i hope i catch later one. That is pretty awesome I'm not gonna lie I totally never noticed the thing with the legendary birds. :-o Same, and I was really into pokemon when that game was out. I feel dumb now. :P i never noticed either,and i watched the show,movies,played the games(o ya pokemon snap was the bomb!) Haha I've never notived that either, I've always thought it was MOltres Zapdos ARTicuno. :P I am one of the biggest poke nerds out there and i NEVER noticed the birds and pallet town, even though i noticed the coluors (pretty evident if you are playing in a GBC) >.< Did you guys know that there is a way to get mew in R/B without using a gameshark? :ohnoes: Yeah, that thing in Cerulean at the Nugget bridge. And Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan are easy easter eggs. Just read that list sniper posted, and i loved the HOPpip, SKIPloom and JUMPluff egg. so awesome :thumbup:

Yeah, i was going to do no my favourite gen (gold/silver), but their internal battery died completely, if i play mroe than 1o min, it won't save. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU And don't be afraid of reset your older gens, it comes to a time they just get boring imo.
