Should skillcapes give extra bonusses?
While a good concept, it had to be limited, due to making certain farming activities or other dayly actions way too easy.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
The thing is the only way to prove what you are arguing is if after you reach level 119 or 120 or whatnot, after you defeat Bilrach/Zamorak/Whatnot, there would be some change. And considering Bilrach is a Mahjarrat, he would have a gigantic amount of power. What would make it a quest however, was if after you defeat/confront him, something would affect and/or progress the rest of Runescape Lore or Mythology, heck even Daemonheim's Plot. The way Dungeoneering is panning out so far, bosses keep re-apearing. In quests, bosses are one time only that once defeated something happens and (dramaticly or not) changes the plot. In Daemonheim, you defeat a boss, nothing changes. And thats the main diference between Dungeoneering and a quest: Progression. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING you do in Daemonheim changes and/or affect the outcome so far. Everything you find is from the past. You don't build new passageways, you go through the same halls Bilrach once was. Sure, while this may resemble some quests (again, EW comes to mind), the majority of Quests revolve around progressing the plot to reach a conclusion. Daemonheim is, currently, STALE. Again, this could be proven or Disproven By batch 1.825, 2, 3 or whatever it will be called. If you ask me to describe Dungeoneering, I'd say it is a Minigame, albeit a very well produced with a nice backstory one, with a taken on EXP method. Experience that is mostly useless outside of RS.

Should skillcapes give extra bonusses?
I don't think so. Skillcapes are they are already make many people grind skills like cooking and fletching to 99 so they can have the "respect" for having a skillcape. Imagine how it would be if they had added bonuses. Giving an added bonus over that would hurt the game imo.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
The thing is, you don't progress the plot in daemonheim, everything is already done and registred (in this matter, Dungeoneering really resembles EW series). On the daemonheim/deungeoneering aspect, Daemonheim is a location. The lore isn't from the skill, but from the location. It is in certain ways comparable to some minigames, like Pest Control and Stealing creation, where the lore is in the location, not in the actions, unlike most of the quests. That means Dungeoneering doesn't have a lore. The act of you "rediscovering" the dephs desn't add to any plot. There isn't progression. Not to say all quests progress, as that would be a blatant lie, but all the good, or even decent quests do. So, in sumation, there isn't enough in Dungeoneering for it to be classified as a quest, even though Daemonheim is a good location for a quest.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
And there, it's Daemonheim the location, not the skill Dungeoneering. Progressing Dungeoneering in now shift daemonheim or influences the world, therefore it's not a quest. Daemonheim =/= Dungeoneering. So right there, while both of these in conjuction may ammount to a few similarities with quests, they are in no way shape or form quests.

Valve Studio Tour
These Studio tours are always fun, i remember when Retro Studios held one (it was just skimming through the rooms, not really detailed or anything), and they had a LoZ sword and shield in a wall. Everyone started freaking out saying they would be making the new Zelda

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
EW plot is not directly told to you, it's in the books. The plot is about repeating the steps of a scientis trying to refine the Elemental ore and turn it into armour. He also sacrifices a lot of his disciples in order to perfect the armour (I think he sacrified most trying to create mind armour and a few others trying to get Body armour, not sure). So right there, EW has more plot that Dungeoneering. And before you throw Bilrach at my face, that is Daemonheim plot, connected to the location and not the skill itself.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
Of course the help factor isn't the only thing that defines a quest, otherwise Familiarization would also be a quest, since you help the Druibs and all right?. Just a small line in hundreds of phrases doesn't automaticly turn it into a halping action either. When you are helping someone in a quest, the Plot evolves ad revolves around said theme and/or person. In dungeoneering, you rarely even see the Fremnicks, or at least interact to them in any meaningfull way. Unless you consider browsing a shop meaningfull.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
You are not getting his point Obtaurian, he is saying Dungeoneering itself is self centered, and that the story belongs not to the skill, but to the area. It's as if you attached Elven Storyline to a Summoning Obelisk. And yes, i agree with Silvertaler

Doing fine in my new Nuzlocke Run, I am planning to this be my team : Blaziken, Gyarados, Cradily, Claydol, Weezing and another one that may appear. Only a Dustox and a lv 20 oddish i was training died ;.; In smogon shoddy server, i ran into guy using a Latios in OU, when i told him that Latios was uber, he called me a nub and stfu. Too bad for him, my Tentacruel knocked of his SOUL DEW after surviving a Draco Meteor. It was hilarious and i ended up winning the match. Karma is awesome

Already got a Gyarados in my new Emerald Nuzlocke, i don't feel like having a Slaking on my team, it could pack a very powerfull Shadow Ball to defeat Phoebe, but other than that i think it isn't worth much. I think i'll get Cradily over Armaldo, i really need a tank...

25-Aug-10 Conquest
Wow, that is a good point. It would be better to use the legs since they are cheaper. Not only that, but they would most likely degrade way too fast for it to be fully effective, and you had to make very short trips, since each spot you change for the SC legs you also loose a prayer potion, shortening your trip even further. I guess it is debatable though, if the usage of SC legs would be better than Armadyl top at chinning.

All time greatest Videogame Villain.
Giygas was also defeated by one of Darth Mallak from Star Wars. No Jedi (or whatever race he is from, never saw a single Star Wars movie) can defeat the impersonation of Evil Himself

All time greatest Videogame Villain.
Now i re-read it, i understand the misconception. I was trying to say Glados was nothing more then a really really dumbed down SHODAN, and that it was a waste SHODAN being defeated so soon. :P Just hope kefka goes past the first point.

All time greatest Videogame Villain.
I was saying i was disapinted that Glados Defeated SHODAN, not glad. Maybe i didn't expressed myself clear enough, but imo, when comparing Glados and Shodan, Shodan wins. Not the contrary.

All time greatest Videogame Villain.
Sorry to break to you guys, but SHODAN was already defeated by Glados, a nerfed version of SHODAN. Such a waste...

You can't block Facebook's CEO on Facebook
The ignorance of some people and the Bias of social Media towards anything internet related really bugs me. They used their site, they agreed with the Terms and Conditions, they are the Developers and have access to your account either you want it or not, after all, you agreed to give them that Right. As it has been said so far, if you don't want it, get out. It's their website.

25-Aug-10 Conquest
The former Void ranger set (Fully optimised) was Void helm, legs, body, gloves, Zamorak book, ranger boots, amulet of fury, Rune Xbow/Chinchompa and Accumulator/Soul Wars cape. This set aparently gave more accuracy and damage than using full armadyl and barrows glove, due to the set effect the set gave. This was confirmed by many players when Chinning and Pking, specially the bigger damage. The advantage of the deflector for range is instead of having the normal bonus of around 120, you sacrifice the +8 the zamorak book gave to get a huge advantage in the form of Armadyl Chestplate. This of course will boost the accuracy and damage even further.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
It basicly counts as another void piece, which means you can replace the top, gloves or bottom for another piece of armour in trade of a shield slot. It may not be very usefull for melee or situational at best with mage, but it rocks for the ranger set since you can replace the top for an Armadyl chestplate.

Should Endgame Quests Require Awesome Levels?
Dungeoneering is pretty much a Minigame with a tacked on Experience method. Questing is about solving plots, investigate new lands, find new enemies, get a lifelong gratitude from X tribe, save Y city and physicly evolve the Land of Gielinor. Dungeoneering is an activity way too closed off, with th only way to affect the outside world being a couple of dungeons that could be introduced in a variety of other ways and buying rewards in a similar manner to Pest Control, a minigame. That said and going On topic, I think the highest level a quest should require is around 92, and maybe it's even pushing it. I do agree with their strategy to slowly push forward the requirements of quests instead of major bumps out of No where.

Pirates, Ninjas and a Review
Hi everybody, this will be a very brief and concise Blog post. First, i pardon the abscence of Top 10 lists recently, i have been 100% completing a few games, aswell as getting my carachter in RS ready for the bonus experience weekend. In case you are wondering, i'll train herblore for most of the time, starting off with a very fast farming run, which should give me around 79 farming. Now, for the meat of the post. First of all, let me insert a shameless Plug around here. I've been planning this event for a while, and I'd like if anyone reading this attended it. All the necessary details should be present in the shameless plug link i posted. If you are a recurrent TET attendee though, I can say something very, VERY, VERY big will be announced at the event. To conclude this post, i want to State i will post a review in the time frame of two weeks of the Upcoming game "Metroid Other M". From the reviews recently posted in such sites as IGN, Gametrailers, Gamespot and 1Up, it seems I will be moderatly to completely and utterly disapointed, since I also ranked Metroid Other M as my Most Anticipated game as of now (plug plug plug plug plug ok I'll stop) So, as i told you, this was a very short entry. Expect something ramdom either next week or a full review of Metroid Other M a few weeks from now. Because Portugal takes about 3 extra weeks to get new games. I waited 6 months for No More Heroes 2 that's for sure. As a last note remember, check out and attend my Pirates vs Ninjas event. (plug.. yeah, i caked)
