  1. Progress so far in Dream World tier: (21:29:50) +RankingBot: Your rank in Dream World is 1000/7297! (Yay for being exactly 1000 \:D/ ) I must say, roopushin is a force to be reckoned with. He is the first Physical threat to ever down my nattorei without using a fire move. On that note, I've made some messing around with my team, this is what I've come up with: Machamp@Lum berry Adamant No Guard 255Att, 220HP, 32Spe -Dynamicpunch -Ice punch -Bullet Punch -Payback Your standart Lead Machamp from Gen IV, it is as good if nto better than before. 220 HP means he can take extra hits from everything that isn't SE and those 32 speed investments guarantee he can outspeed other champs. I'm tempted to switch Ice Punch to Fire punch, since Nattoreis and Forretress' are running around setting up layers on me. Overall, i quite like him. Tyranitar@Balloon Lonely Sand Stream 255Att, 44SpA, 48SpD, 160Spe -Earthquake -Flamethrower -Outrage -Pursuit Balloon gets Tyra a free switch in, plus sometimes people forget to read the battle reports and switch in their Trollchomp to Scarf quake me. Earthquake hits neutral and SE many things. Outrage is to get rid of those dragons. Plus, it's a surprise that usually costs my opponent the match. Pursuit is to get rid of Shandeeras/Dittos and Flamethrower is to KO Nattoreis. I'd say it's the one who takes out the less of opponents, but it's main purpose is to get Sandstorm up for both a) Sunny/Rain abusers and b)... Doryuuzu@Balloon/Life Orb Jolly Sand Throw 255Att, 255Spe -Earthquake -Rapid Spin -Swords Dance/Rock Slide -Substitute All the rumours about Dory are true. He is a complete beast. He has been loosing popularity since the beggining of the Metagame, but i think that's because newcomers (like me) often tried to use them early game. The problem being, your opponent is almost guaranteed to have a mach puncher in his team, most likely Roopushin, boasting that massive attack, and Brelloom with it's newly learned Technician (another great threat). Jolly nature is to outspeed other Dorys. This is mostly a early game utility and a late game sweeper. Rapid spin gets rid of the hazards early game without much trouble, and this also allows you to scout their team, since most people will always send in their counter. Earthquake is it's STAB and Substitute lets you survive a candle attack, and revenge it with a Earthquake. Now onto the bolded: I use either Balloon and Rock Slide or Life Orb and Swords Dance. I prefer the first one for a free switch in and all around coverage. Maybe you can use Life Orb and Rock Slide for added damage, but i do not enjoy rapid spinning and taking damage. Nattorei@Leftovers Impish Iron Barbs 92HP, 100Att, 208Def, 108SpD -Power Whip -Thunder Wave -Leech Seed -Stealth Rock This guy is awesome. It made giving fire moves to your Physical sweeper a must. He can block all Physical attacks but certain exceptions, liike the already mentioned fire attacks and Rupooshins Drain Punches. I usually Thunder Wave the switch in, Proceed to Leech Seed him for more Recovery and then Stealth Rock. If he stays in, Power Whips kills it almost guaranteed. I'm not sure about those SpD IV's, they're there mostly to survive Draco Meteors and the such. Any kind of Fire Move will kill you though, so be carefull. This thing is amazing nonetheless, it could only be better if it had Rapid Spin. Plus, the candle kills him unless you get lucky and thunder wave it on the switch and you get a lucky parahax streak. Shandeera@Choice Scarf Modest Shadow Tag 255SpA, 255Spe -Overheat -Shadow Ball -Energy Ball -Psychic THE best revenge Killer in the game. Many argue Ditto is better, but i found Shandeera More effective, specially because you can always switch of a ditto. Oderheats absolutely murders everything that's isn't resistant or under Rain effect. Shadow Ball is for other ghosts, Energy Ball is a gigantic middle finger to Swamperts and Psychic is to get rid of Roobushins and Brellooms. Not anything else really. Starmie@Choice Scarf Modest Natural Cure 252SpA, 252Spe -Surf/Hydro Pump -Thunderbolt -Ice Beam -Trick I always loved Starmie, and while it has sure taken a hit this Gen, specially due to mischevous heart ability, it is still a rock solid Poke. I always had bad luck with Hydro Pump, so i prefer Surf. Thunderbolt is for other water types, Ice Beam is for Dragons. Trick is to screw up Nattorei and the likes. Also to mess with Suicune i guess (which is really underused recently). This is an example of a match where everything fell into it's place: [hide]Battle between Demoli and Sup Bro started! 2. Yay new round please :D Also, may you answer my doubt about rocco«'s leaving? Will we all get points and you'll just remove the ones gained?
  3. I've found roopooshins to be very well walled by Tentacruel, specially with the liquid ooze trait. Nattorei also shuts it down with Thunder Wave and Leech seed, spcially if it doesn't have bulk up. I seriously love Nattorei. More often that not players get agreedy and Switch Shandeera in before Nattorei knocks any pokemon out, resulting in them having a choice user paralyzed. Breloom is a serious threat now, even more than before. Technician and bullet seed give it the edge over gen 4. Nattorei can sort of block and, and Tentacruel walls it. Day 2: Love onokoruso, yache lets him set up 2 dragon dances to outspeed even Trollchomps. Very rewarding I think i'll try Denchura tomorrow.
  4. I read somewhere that they will unable Dream World abilities as they are being released, ie shandeera @ shadow tag won't be allowed until it is released. day 2 report on gen 5 metagame: I hate Garchomp, i really do. Swapped Burunkero for Tentacruel, while the lack of will-owhisp is a bummer, toxic spikes and rapid spin make up for it. I use hydro pump, but if you want to mess some things up boiling water can cause a burn occasionally. Nattorei really tears [cabbage] up though. Come in on a resisted attack, thunder wave the switch in, stealth rock and leech seed the turns after that. When you're done, Power Whip to death. It can even survive a +2 Dory Earthquake. I've found Onokoruzo to be very versatile, With it's massive 140 attack stat, it can outrage without a DD to kill almost any switch in late game, and with Yache Berry it can Get 2 DD's before sweeping, or just 1 if you find the occasional weavile. I think i'll tryo to develop this team before dfundamentally change it.also, people, get a flying type if you are gong into athis metagame, doryuzzo is just everywhere :(
  5. So, i've started playing Pokemon Online, the 5th gen simulator. God is the metagame different. Offensive leads are everywhere, Stall is non-existant, set up moves are very hard to pull of and the candle screws up a lot of things. My team so far is made of: Machamp@Lum Adamant 252 at, 230hp, 24spe -Dynamicpunch -Ice punch -Payback -Bullet Punch Shandeera@Scarf Modest 252SpA, 252Spe, 4 HP -Fire Blast -Shadow Ball -Energy Ball -Hidden Power (Water) Onokoruso@Yache Berry Adamant 252Att, 252Spe, 4HP -Dragon Dance -Outrage -EarthQuake -X-Scizor/Shadow Claw/Stone Edge Starmie@Life Orb Timid 252SpA, 252Spe, 4HP -Surf/Hydro Pump -Hidden Power Fire (Nattorei+Scizor are too much of a nuisance) -Ice Beam -Thunderbolt Nattorei@Leftovers Impish 200Def, 200SpD, 58 Att -Power Whip -Thunder Wave -Stealth Rock -Leech Seed Burungueru@Leftovers Calm 180Def, 200SpD, 78SpA -Will-o-Whisp -Toxic -Hydro Pump -Ice Beam Nattorei+Burungueru are a better version pf Skarm Bliss and can annoy loads of people. Combined, they have Will-O-Whisp, Thunder Wave and Toxic, which WILL shut own lots of things, Stealth Rock, good type Coverage, no weaknesses combined and access to healing via Leech Seed. Onokuruso is very hard to set up, but once it is it can tear some [cabbage] up late game. Nattorei blocks it early game. Starmie is an overall Counter Machamp is as good as always Shandeera is a good Trapper and thats it. If the other team still has a pursuit user, you're doomed. Any suggestions on improving?
  6. Honestly, if you have a PC and you bought black ops for the wii you got robbed. Either way, maybe it supports wii speak, but i wouldn't bet on it. Seriously, take it back and buy Black Ops for the PC if you want a good FPs experience. I love the wii, but for games like this PC or 360 are just better.
  7. Demoli's top 10 Generation V Pokémon Like many of you may or may not have heard, the 5th Generation os Pokemon were released in Japan about 2 months ago. Months of discussion and speculations were finally satisfied by Game Freak who, in my opinion, provided us the best Pokemon Game since Gen 2. And that's the core of this list, because with a good Gen come very good designs. This Gen wasn't Shabby on these. It pleased both competitive players and not-so-serious players. In case anyone wants to see other animated sprites, check this site Since the horrible intro is over, let's get on with this list, and present my top 10 favourite pokemon of Generation V Number 10 Muraando Muraando is the final evolution of what is, basicly, this Gen's Rattata. Difference being, it is actually very decent. Sure, it won't break any records or surpass the likes of Salamence competitivly, but it's the design that stands out. It's a FREAKING YORKIE WITH 'STACHE STAND STRETCHES TO IT'S HIND LEGS. I dunno if it's only that, but there's something that draws me to it. Number 9 Reshiram Yeah, i actually placed a legendary on the list. It's the only one i'll put here though, and rightfully. Ireally like this design. It has this wierd mistique of ancient dragons. plus, when he is really angry, his tail ignites into a strong flame. Plus, his special is pretty increadible. Comtetitivly, it's one of the best. Sure, he isn't Kyogre or Mewtwo, but he can hold it's own with his massive special attack and type coverage. His speed is kinda of a bummer though. Number 8 Agirudaa Clam Ninja is awesome. I know Scyther, Scizor, Grovyle and Ninjask were also suposed to be ninjas, but none were pulled of as successfully as Agirudaa. The eyes, the shell, the fake arms, the scar. It's sooo well done. Competitivly, i heard it's one of the best Leads out there, sometimes being a major annoyance. Number 7 Denchura I freakin hate spiders. Even in pokemon, that ariados fella was awefull. But Denchura? It is increadible. Those blue spikes on the back, all those eyes and the bulky appearence make it look appealing somewhat. When things get real, it's also very decent. It's ability, plus access toThunder and other special moves let it fire powerfull strikes that cover many threats. It isn't very spread, but it's usable. Number 6 Desukan Aaaand things get creepy! Desukan is so wierd it's good. Specially in motion. It has an unique ability that can screw up many things, and it can rarely help other ones. But look at it's looks! Bright and cheery and at the same time so dark and eery. Just increadible. I really like his smile in particular. Number 5 Shandeera Aaaaah, the candle. Don't you love this thing. It is a really well done pokemon, because it literally feels like a Fire-Ghost pokemon. The one to have the brilliant idea to use a chandelier for this deserves several awards. Competitivly, it's a beast. No way around it. It has the ability to trap other pokemon, and KO them without a thingle scratch, and if you don't have a Pursuit user or are lucky enough to survive a hit, you're doomed. Thats it. Number 4 Kirikizan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0KOfTV1dbc Number 3 Urugamosu Mothra is in this game. That alone should be able to convince you, but in case it isn't, just hear, or rather, look. It is so bringh coloured, yet it feels threatening. I think it's the wings and the lower abdomen, so big and imposing. It has a massive speciall attack and access to two powerfull moves: Butterfly Dance and Fire Dance. These can effectivly turn the tables around, and with enough time, it can sweep an entire team. Number 2 Futachimaru I don't like mijumaru, or even Daikenki for that matter, but Futachimaru really breathes the idea the creator was trying to pass: A samurai Otter. Hell, just look at it! It is the enbodiment of badassitude. The menacing eyes, the pose, the shells, the wierd fur on the back of it's head. The teeth. So awesome. When it comes into the field, at least on serious battles, it won't do much, because not only isn't he fully evolved, as he doesn't have that great of a movepool either. Still, his coolness factor is one of the best in the series! Well, it's time for number, which new pokemon can surpass these already listed? Well, who the hell do you think it is? Number 1 Wargle Hell yes! Wargle is the [cabbage]! It is the Chuck Norris of Pokemon, the everlasting design, the symbol of Generation V. The indian head, the bright colours, the menacing look, and the cutest pre-evolution ever, Wargle remains the best pokemon os Gen 5. Not in the competitive play though, as he isn't up to notch to the likes of Metagross and Salamence, but he can handle it's own in UU, and with enough support, it might even fight back some of the major threats, like the Candle <.< . Cutest Pokemon below: [hide][/hide] Unfortunatly, many pokemon were left out, some of wich i really like, such as Onokoruzo, Sazandora, Doryuzzo, Borungero and Waruvial, but the list only has 10 spots, and here they are. Fell free to share your opinion on this list on the comments below, share your personal favourites, or even make your personally list in response of this one. That being said, also feel free to hop on the TET bus someday and enjoy our great variety of events and activites we organize each Weekend. A link to our forums can be found here. Side note: I will not make another top 10 list until i finish some IRL and TET stuff, plus a little sujrprise I'm organizing, feel free to leave ideas though.
  8. Goodbye Dung! (until i have better combat and skilling skills)
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNQy9Y4-IwY ^ the reference
  10. From the look of the convo, he was smithing.
  11. Whenever you're ready Masq Also, should everyone get two points due to rocco leaving?
  12. While i do understand the complaints about Sonic Adventure 2, i always felt in controll while playing Unleashed day levels. That being said, i also prefer 2D sonics. Being Advance 3 my favourite.
  13. Well, at least for me I've only heard it done well in a certain Dr.Who episode, where a kid got infected by some kind of decease which turned his face into some form of gas mask. I stand corrected though.
  14. So, it's thursday... New round? <.< >.>
  15. Demoli replied to Hawks's topic in Off-Topic
I like this list, but, like Two have said before, the lack of variety on such an arguably long lst is kind of a bummer :/
  16. ^ If that's a Dr.Who reference, you just win my internets I've yet to do a inventory heavy action, but this update seems great.
  17. Except that it was Lucien, not Bilrach, who stole the Stone of Jas, and Bilrach is already inside Daemonheim for centuries. Not only that but ni no way could Bilrach steal the Stone from Lucien, Lucien was an already very powerfull Mahjarrat, and now with both the Stone and the Staff of Armadyl he is damn near impossible to stop now. Plus, Bilrach didn't create Daemonheim, he just knew there was a power beneath it and went for it.
  18. I've seen around 15 spiders and i've seen 2 hoods. First i kinda freaked out since i was hyped for it, but then, after binding it and making a whole reset (floors 1-28, 1-21 solo meds ;22-28 5:5 larges), i couldn't see how people hold them in high regards. After this, I think I'll never bind one over my beloved prom plate the second hood i saw i gave it to Mdeoxys. But if you really want one, maybe try doing abandoned floors. All the power to you, i'll stick with my platebody
  19. Good luck everyone, don't worry about being newbies in the team, the AU newbies sure did well enough, just ask Flodder!
  20. This belongs in Help & Advice I believe. I plave 10 workers on Herbs and 5 on Fish.
  21. I say it's Roddeck. Don't ask me why or on what i base my suspicion upon, i just have a hunch it's him.
  22. Which one would win a "Judge Kickass" contest, this one or this one?
  23. I defeated PBP, never have entry hazards been so important
  24. Bought No More Heroes 1 while waiting for analisis on Super Meat Boy on other platformers. Honestly, i prefered No More Heroes 1 over 2. I don't know if it was the open world or just the overall quirkyness, but I just love it  .
