  1. They don't, Void and Salve (e) stack. But not Slayer Helm and Salve (e).
  2. [hide=Quote From Runescape.com]If you die in a special area (what we call an instanced event), you will now be given a gravestone, which will appear in the nearest non-instanced place to the one where you died. For example, if you died while fighting Bork in the Chaos Tunnels, your gravestone would appear outside the portal to Borks cave, giving you a chance to return and collect your items. The gravestone will be marked on the world map, and a timer will tell you how much time you have left before it disappears. Logging out will not make the gravestone disappear, although the timer will continue to count down while you are offline. Also, all gravestones will now remain in place for one minute more than they used to.[/hide] Ok, i get what they saying about the gravestone appearing near the instances. But what other places besides Bork would be considered instances? I just like to know in case i die and not have to worry to much.
  3. Super Attack and Strength pots will help speed up kills, speed up the task and cut down the amount of prayer potion you will need. If you have a high enough mage, maybe 80+. You can get away with D hide/Karils and using a bunyip. No point in using both the Slayer Helm and Salve (e) as only one will work. And the slayer helm is suggest as you can then use a better amulet on the task, such as a fury. Since the OP has to use a nose peg, then the Salve would work just fine. I suggest: Nose Peg Salve (e) > Fury > Glory Trimmed Skill Cape > God Cloak Dhide/Karils or Prosy if you pray Whip + Rune Defender Dragon Boots Beserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Wealth
  4. Fixed =P So it's no longer a hot zone? Thats the part that got fixed, the rest is correct.
  5. Didn't Jagex just release something about how they improved their macro detecting abilities? If they think you were they would be able to tell then you get banned. But they should be able to tell that you were there, using your keyboard. Here's a link if you want to read it. Link
  6. Allow me to correct this, since that wastes you money, which is quite useful- Bring a knife, and pick pineapples near the end of the course, then slice it. It heals you and saves you money :D If I may add to that, if you're really patient and do need to replenish your hp, there's a crate (remember from monkey madness quest?) that has an unlimited supply of bananas. They may heal 2 hp each, but every but helps. You can do this while staying ape. I just though of something. You remember the red banana tree from the RFD quest. Would you be able to go get them using the rope like during the quest? They heal 8 i think, so would be really helpful. But you need the other Greegree and a rope.
  7. Using SC Needles to craft D hides, green seems to be the most cost effective. And don't forget to get your daily staves fro Zaff and make them into Air Satves to either sell or alch.
  8. Ya void range is great for slayer. If you have a shield, like the DFS or BSS you can do most task by ranging. If you need mage def while on task then Black D'hide/Karils will work just fine.
  9. The only void that's good for slaying is the range one. Since you can use the Black Mask/Slayer Helm on tasks, the full void melee is kinda pointless. Since you're cutting out the helm, the spot for the mask. The torso and legs, spot for defense armor, prayer armor, or mage def armor. And the Gloves which can be replaced with the Barrow RFD Gloves.
  10. At the level its best to pick up all the little coin piles from the monsters you kill. It adds up in the end. Also pick up all drops that can be high alched for more then the price of a nature rune. And pick up all rune types, since they stack you should have room in your pack. And don't forget to use the price checker to see how much things are if you aren't sure on the price.
  11. Well i can't look at the guides cuz it seems that they are blocked. Another this would have done better in beginning guides as that is the place for beginning guides
  12. You say them lasting half as long is a bad thing. You still get all the exp from the gloves, you just get it twice as fast. Which if you don't want to be in the wild for twice the time, having a better chance to get pked while in the wild. Now the only down side is if you want to gain more dp/ep while using your brawlers.
  13. Rune Defender beats DFS on all tasks, except the dragon ones. Idk about the BSS though, but I've used the Rune Defender and it is by far the best thing to use for slayer, and if you camp at AZ's it also has it uses there.
  14. Best would be to put money in your kingdom. Leave it on Raw Fish, and which ever other you like. I use the other 5 on flax. Even if you do leave for a month you're sure to make a profit from the money you put it and the resources you gather. Just make sure if possible that on the last day that you'll be on to make your approval rating 100% to give the best chance. Other then that there is no real way of knowing how an item will do in a month and not being able to come check on it.
  15. I'm in "Axe Man Jack" chat, TSG a.k.a. The Slayer's Guild, and imo its the best slayer chat. Lots of people in the chat, including me, along with some others. Usually at least one chat mod to enforce the rules. But other then that its a pretty relaxed chat. Most people there are experienced in slayer and don't mind giving tips and that. We also help out in more then just slayer, but if you need help on skills we have a few members that are getting close to maxing their skills and know their way around how to do them. Also no requirements to join so feel free to stop by some time.
  16. How are you wasting tools? You still get the same amount of exp out of the brawlers. And you're getting them twice as fast. Which means less times in the wildy, which means less chances to get killed. If anything, SC tools and Brawlers are the best way to use the brawlers. Things like the hammers and smithing brawlers are great exp when used at the same time.
  17. Only use Karils on tasks that you need mage defense. Like Aberrant Spectres. Other wise Black D'hide will suffice. Void would be better tho. And with Karil you have to worry about the set degrading.
  18. Forum Ranks
  19. I think it would be: Nats until 54 Laws until 59 Double Cosmics until mid 60s ZMI until 82 Double Astrals until 91 Double Nats until 99 I'm sure you wont be getting that high, but this is a nice mix of exp (Laws and ZMI) and profit (double cosmics, astrals, and nats)
  20. Once you can craft Air Battlestaffs, 66 crafting, you can make some money buy getting staves from Zaff and then attaching the orbs then you can alch them for about 1k profit each. With Varrock Armour 3 you can buy 64 a day, 32 with VA 2, 16 with VA 1, and only 8 if you don't have any.
  21. Stab on corp beast, and crush on waterfiends. That's about it for the monster uses.
  22. or you can add enchanted orbs to make them battlestave and alch them for 9400 , making 2400 proffit each The only way you will make a 2.4k profit is if you go make all your own orbs and natures. It would be best to just buy the orbs from the GE and then alch them. It still only nets you about a 1k profit on each. But you also gain some crafting and magic exp.
  23. Well from your stats you have some choices. 1) Rock Lobsters. They are the best place to gather crimsons, but also the most expensive way to collect them. Bursting/Barraging them. And if you never been before, then its going to be hard to get to. 2) Waterfiends These are the second best to kill for crimsons. At an 85% chance for a crimson drop these are really good if you can't get to rock lobs. At your levels you might be able to kill them, but you might also have small problem as 68 summoning if recommended for healing. 3) Black Demons Since the update a few months ago, all black demons now have great crimson charm rates. You can cannon them in Taverly Dungeon for fast kills. You can also kill them in the Chaos Tunnels for a little bit better drop rate. It is also multi so be warned that you must either use prayer or range/mage them from the safespot. 4) Dust Devils These are the best if you aren't rich or have high stats. Just need 65 slayer and you have that. Just go kill them, don't forget your mask. With B2P tabs you can camp for a long time without having to bank. These are the top 4 crimson charm droppers. Or at least i heard they are. If you don't wanna kill them then the next would be to slay or kill greater demons.
  24. Range tank... doesn't really need to use piety.
  25. Heres a hint, check the graphs on the runescape site. If some items tend to go up at a steep price from a relatively steady price, mostl likely they are being bought out by a price manip clan. Look for items that seem to go up and down on a regular basis. Buy then when they are low, and judge the graphs as to when they will go up higher. Once you're feel comfortable on a price to sell, then do it. All thats left to do is enjoy your newly earned GP. Well that how it works on the Stocks, why not on rs? :geek:
