I disagree: 91 RC is awesome, definitely worth getting! 85 Mining on the other hand ... not so great money maker. Seeing as you have neither, i don't see how your opinion will matter much. Both are awesome money makers. 91 RC has a higher rate of money, but it also takes long to get to and the ways to obtain it are somewhat on the slow side.

Who said it was for slayer? It might be for more then just regular combat, there is also range and magic as well as getting prayer and summoning levels.

Also doing it this way can make the task last a lot longer then it should. If you're not the one to get the last hit, it won't count towards your task and you end up having to kill more.

Spear, i see it as the spear to be faster then the ZGS. But the ZGS is stronger. So they may be pretty even.

Id go and kill the ones in Zamorak Fortress. Slayer Helm Holy Symboly => Once down there switch to a Fury. Torag Plate Torag Legs Whip+Rune Defender Zamorak Cape/Cloak Dragon Boots Berserker Ring You can most likely tank them, using a healing familiar. Bring some runes to alch the many drops they have. Bring a rope since its your first time. You'll have to walk there from Burthrope so you'll also need climbing boots but you can just drop those once in the GWD.

And while doing this grow some herbs, i think the best would be toadflax > kwuarm > ranarr > snapdragon. It goes in order of least to most profit, or i think it is might wanna go check the runewiki calc.

If you haven't guessed it, he means by runecrafting. 91+ gives you the ability to make double natures. But if you don't have the patience to get 91 RC, then combat will be your best bet. P.S. Nice sig, got to see the band in concert a couple months ago :thumbsup:

If what you say is true there shouldn't be a rock there because he has a quest cape. No it just means he hasn't unlocked that route yet. The only route you unlock during the quest is the one to Varrock.

Well i recommend you slay until you're 65 slayer. That way you'll collect a nice pile of charms and once you hit 65 you can kill dust devils. Who knows, you might be able to kill waterfiends by then.

You know, i just love how people read that the OP has 55 DEFENSE, so no barrows or dragons armor yet. After you get to 70 attack train for 60, then 70 def. Until then wear rune, maybe granite if you want. Its kinda pathetic really, when almost all of the post say barrows/dragon. And unless those aren't your stats then i apologize, but really....

water talisman is ~3.2k and costs 50 points pure ess is 115 each and 1 ess each point so 50 points is: ~3.2k on water talisman ~5.7k on pure ess , 50×115 How do you get that the 1 talisman is worth more then 50 pure essence?

Also, Fairy Ring CKR takes you a little north west of Shilo Village. After which you have to walk/run all the way around Shilo to get inside. Better to use the cart :P Yes, it's a fair way around. But if you were starting within a click or two of a fairy ring, then compare that to getting to Ardougne, running to the boat, getting from the boat to the cart - I doubt the fairy ring way would be longer. It is longer, while using the cart all the options can be used quickly. And if you have a house tab you can go, recharge prayer and take your portal to ardougne. You also don't have to worry about using the staff to be able to teleport, and it only cost like 40 gp using the boat+cart. If using the fairy ring you have to go through that long dialogue to get into the village.

You could do it, but you most likely will need more food and potions then someone with a higher defense and prayer levels. But it is doable at your level. If you are just going to range you might wanna look into side stepping to avoid combat. Like i said, its going to be hard but you can do it.

Been answered. Skip what you don't to do. I've skip certain task, but don't block as i rarely get them. Yes the gloves are fastest. If you don't have them you can just tele to ardougne, take the boat to brimhaven and then the cart to shilo and walk to him.

Couldn't i just make more money doing avis or green dragons? You could, but thats time you could have spent slaying and not gathering money. If you do Duradel you won't need to make money, and you might possible make some from slaying. I know i have once i hit 85, i never got any spirit mages until 90 slayer :cry:
