  1. I figured I'd ask here so that I wouldn't have to create another thread that could be called spam, but...where do you go to get the purple cat? I here alot about a purple cat puzzle, but I have absolutely no idea where to go...and nobody has been at all helpful. Any tips will be appreciated, thanks.
  2. Money isn't the route of all happiness, but if you have lot's of money you can buy new items that are fun to play around with. So, money can = some more fun, but it certainly isn't a requirement to enjoy runescape.
  3. I feel like you mentioned several minor things, and updates that are now ancient history, but left out the recent and larger changes to ranged combat. Basically, I'm saying that you forgot about dark bows, and the new pvp ranged weapons. Both of them require very expensive ammunition, but they are extremely powerful pvp weapons that are worth mentioning. Oh well, the article wasn't bad.
  4. I've never camped dusties, but I'd recommend rune defender in the shield slot. The accuracy boosts are just generally useful. If you want defence bonuses, then just the best shield you can afford without going broke i guess.
  5. I find fighting to be the most fun aspect of the game, but to each his own. When I get really bored I do some clan wars (ffa, or just joining a random group there), castlewars, pvp worlds, or I just go kill a monster that I like(I find it to be less boring to kill monsters that look cool and are not annoying). I also like doing slayer tasks. The randomness of assignments keeps me from getting bored. I also get very excited upon reaching a slayer lvl that allows me to fight a new monster. When I really don't want to kill monsters or players, or I run low on food, I go fishing. It relaxes me.
  6. I usually find that attacking first gives me a huge advantage, so I just attack first. What annoys me more is the people who wait until I kill someone, then finish me off in ym weakened state as I head for the bank. So agrravating, escpecially when they kill me in like 3 seconds(before I get saved by the safe spot)
  7. I've heard good things about sumona, but she never (ever) gives me good tasks. An example of 3 tasks in a row I did with her is: banshees, very annoying cave crawlers  more banshees and that's practically all sumona ever gives me. I say stick to chaeldar until you can skip over to what's his face (the lvl 100 combat one), but maybe you have better luck than me.
  8. Ok, but I already knew this. I was kinda looking for advice on what items to alch, or alternative range training methods. Thanks for the help anyway.
  9. I am mainly a melee player and all of my melee stats are 70, but my mage and range levels are very poor for my combat level. My range level is:57 My mage level is:57 Can anyone tell me a fast and fairly cost effective way to train either(or preferably both) of these stats? Thanks in advance! : I'm thinking of aiming for at least 60-65 for each of these. What do you think? Ok, since nobody feels like helping me, I figured I'd set some definitive goals. I want 62 magic and 61 range, does that help you help me? I don't mind losing up to 250k, but I'd really rather not lose more. What items are good to alch? Any particular monsters that are good to range for fast exp?
  10. I'd probably be in the same place, but different...That makes sense right? I'd still be here (here as in my current real world location not here as in on a runescape fansite's forums...), but I'd not be a runescape player. I'd probably be wasting time on another videogame, so it's not much difference.
  11. I am definitely going to be there! I was at the last one(although I wasn't a tif user back then) and I was accused of cape switching and killed... Hopefully that doesn't happen again... Beware my rune battle ax!
