Why? because the idea is completely unoriginal and completely uncalled for. I don't see a legitimate reason of why they had to change Hitpoints. it was fine, nobody had problems with it, and everything was fine and dandy. I don't see how this sudden dramatic change is going to benefit anything. I think Jagex is only getting pressured into changing Runescape so that it could fit the criteria of other modern MMPORPGs and their first step happened to add a 0 into every [cabbage] we hit on. WOW JAGEX THAT WAS SO FREAKIN' BRILLIANT! WE SO NEEDED THIS UPDATE!!! :roll: I played Runescape because it was Runescape. Now it just feels like any other RPGs where everything is in 3-4 digits. I can't ever believe that they would implement such a disappointing update. I'm just about ready to stop spending even one cent in this cruddy peice of [cabbage] company called Jagex. Good bye and I hope you have fun with your new generation of pre adolescent players. This isn't youscape this is runescape... they are not making the game for you... they are making it to become more popular to get more money. They are a company, it is there job to maximize profit and if it shows that higher hits attracts more plays then they will do it. I find it hard to believe you have not noticed this trend with all gaming outlets. Gaming company's care less about the actual true gamers and more about the general gamer. There is little to no money making your game to a specific type of gamer. Everything is becoming generic and money related since the generic gamer these days are spoiled kids who don't like a challenge and want rewards handed out to them for doing nothing. this can be seen threw achievements gotten by completing a level in a game or by just buying something. There is nothing you can do if you don't like it and by quitting something you invested time and money into because of something so little just makes you sound like a child who didn't get his way so he left. I agree with whip. This update was unneeded. I hope they remove it soon, hp and hits back to normal. Which they probably will because 90 percent of rs players want it removed.

Why? Its just way too confusing. It puts the fun out of high hits. Hitting a 400 doesn't feel much different from hitting a 50. And I just saw poison hit a 68. :thumbdown:

RS died in july 2007 with the graphical update. The funeral was on december 10, 2007 with the trade limit.

A few weeks ago I got my first ever rs account that I created in 2005 back. He was banned in 2007 because some account buyer reported me. Here is the story. Him: Can i buy your account Me: How much? (I wasn't gonna actually sell it, just wanted to see how much he would offer) Him: Let me go on him and see how much money he has Me: No, how can i trust you to not drop his stuff? If you really wanted to buy it you would give me an offer. Him: Reported for account selling noob I ended up getting banned for a year and 5 months for this.

Treasure trails are [developmentally delayed]ed. A few days ago I got my first level 3 clue scroll from a green dragon. It took me over 7 hours to solve it. The reward was a black d'hide set. Then today I got my second level 3 clue scroll. Took almost 6 hours. The reward was a magic shortbow and 78 law runes.

Since the staff's spec takes away 50% damage, then if you also pray melee (also 50%) shouldn't it be 100% damage protection?

Right click the summoning button beside the minimap then click Follower Details. There is a Help and Advice forum for things like this. Next time use that. For me, there is no summoning button, don't you need to have started the wolf whistle quest to get it?
