8+ effigies a day? I got only 9 for 100 shards, I also don't usually play 30 hours per day... Nor do I, but I kill 'em hella efficiently and if I'm on RuneScape at all, it's at Glacors or Tormented Demons. I usually get like 4 kills per overload dose. 45 shards, 5 effigies and no boots so far. You should make a guide on them. There's also a glitch that allows you to take anyone's kill any time up to the minions. Thing stops attacking them and just turns and goes after you. Not that you'd need it after or during the minions... By then the kill is theirs. Lol.

I think getting 8+ effigies a day with the odd boots and a guaranteed ABS, regardless of price, after 100 shards is pretty damn good. Beats Runecrafting...

'Cause Glacors drop them 1-2 every trip and since they've been added, TDs have also. Jeremy, you just jelly. :P. Up for Glacors/TDs later? As much as I love Glacors, I still gotta get my TD fix/claws for the day. Got 2 yesterday. ;).

Doing those 2 as well myself. Effigies from Glacors just got me 93-95 Runecrafting. =).

I was surprised when we got it, but while killing TDs we actually got a Dragon Mace drop. If needed I'll get the screenshot from x EiDoS x (My brother), but until then was hoping that my history at TDs and bossing would be enough for now. :P.

Almost there: Still see videos popping up of people getting 300M-ish for theirs.. So. Put it in GE for 20M, sold instant for 27M. :). And yep, got 'em the very first kill while screen sharing to show the GF how to do them. Win. :D.

1 shard = 8 dust. 1 dust + 1 essence = 10 armadyl runes if you're a 99 rcer. So 80 runes in total max from one shard. To make them you craft air runes as normal at the air altar but with dust of armadyl in your inv. Do you know if you can be assisted by 99 RC and make 10 per dust? Lol going by the ge price of the completed staff, each shard would be 180k, so each cast would be 2250gp... EDIT LOL just realized, if you sided with Hazeel, wasn't he like level 296 in Hazeel Cult? And he's 150 and then 250 (if you sided with him and he therefore appears)... The whole J-Mod explanation about combat levels falls apart when you remember that the Barrows Brothers hadn't changed at all... -.- IK people with offers for the staff in at 200M+. Or at least, that was the first 2 days... Not checked with them since.

Why the Ahrim's/Zammy cape/Infinity boots? Cuz its fun looking like a mage... What do you suggest? I tried wearing arma earlier and that worked just as good. Full melee defense, unless you lure the minions out of view of the 'boss'. Mage attack bonus doesn't affect your hits. I wear full Bandos, DFH, Arcane Stream Necklace and Staff of Light, Dragon Boots, etc. There's no need to take brews and lately have been taking 6+ overloads. Why not verac skirt over tassets? And maybe torag/dh top? also are you using a sw cape? I would wear that, but in the gear I posted, there's already no need for brews and rarely uses uni. No point in a defense that degrades when it's not needed. :). Yes, I wear a SW cape.

It's for places like GWD and such. If you're doing a GWD trip, before hand you tele there and get a 3-6% boost at GWD. It also works for other locations.

Low amount of boots, yeah. Very high amount of shards. ;).

totalpwnage, Why kill the unstable last? Sappling is the weakest and if unstable is killed last, the boss heals himself. Plus, the unstable only takes 1 hit to kill while he explodes while killing the Enduring.

Wow thanks for the tip, now i can just keep bandos on the whole time =p. I've been hybriding melee with mage, ahrims + sol and farseers for phase 1 and 3, then switching to bandos + cr + defender for the minis (ive found melee is much faster for killing minis). Btw how long have you killed for that many shards? ive killed about 80 and have 7 shards and 1 pair of steadfast boots so far. My adventurer's log is filled with "I killed 67 Glacos...", "I killed 33 Glacos...", "I killed 76 Glacos..." TBH, I have no idea, but I've been killing them extremely efficiently compared to everyone else that I've seen there. All I've done on RS today is kill them. Bought a [cabbage] load of supplies before hand to camp there for weeks. Been wearing ROW as well.

Anybody have more? Just so I know how hard I gotta work to get one of the first staves. :P. (DROP TAB) And this is my setup: A few notes about this boss... Magic attack bonus does nothing. You will get hit the most by minions, so wear full melee defense! You will still hit 960s. I wear: Full Bandos Arcane Stream Necklace DFH Dragon Boots Barrows Gloves Staff Of Light Etc Lure the Endurer immediately faaar from the boss. While hitting him, the unstable will explode... Hit him right after; He'll only have 100Hp. Finish the Endurer, then kill the Sappler. AFK the rest of the boss. Lol. And ye, I've tried full DH there... Sucked on the boss, but 1 hitting the minions was fun. ;).

Could you give me some pointers on how to get that number? I would also love to know how this Is done. il Alwayz li. Add me and come to my world.

Average trip... And these things are supposed to be hard? They die as fast as TDs and can last longer each trip. Note... First trip. Lol. Only 9 Armadyl Shards so far though.

I'm killing 50+ a trip. :P. Come watch how I do it. ^^.
