JESUS! Holy mother thats a sheet load of charms!!! I have nothing to unspam with though... -
Well the past few days i've been doing some Runecrafting. I've also been playing around with the quality settings. I've been playing around with Full Screen and Normal Screen. I noticed that while playing in wide screen i was able to view a larger area of the map than i would be able to whilst playing in Standard Detail. The thought came to me that even though the advantage is only a few inches, it might just be those few inches that really matters. I find this a bit unfair to people who are unable to use High Detail while playing. I managed to cut down the time of my Runecrafting runs, i managed to click on a NPC faster than the person standing next to me. This could also be very helpfull if i plan on Rushing people and they just happen to play in Standard Detail. I'll be able to attack someone on the edge of my view, yet to them i won't even be in view. Are weaker computers at a disadvantage? Is this really fair? I just thought this might have some discussion vallue as i found it quite interresting.

SJ is for poeple with money, im not one of them :( I might considder this as an option though seeing as i'm runecrafting atm and its earning me a decent amount of money. Any idea what the gp/exp ratio is? Last time i heard it was something like 3gp/1exp. Is this right?
-
Did you even read the post? -.-
-
Well ill actually just be hoping to do Magic as a kind of break away from Runecrafting, so i will only need about an hour or 2 hours worth of Bolts every few hours. So if i put an offer in for lowest and sell them at mid i should make a profit?
-
I like this idea ALOT. I dont mind breaking a finger or two while getting 99 Magic. I don't even mind breaking my wrist as i hardly ever find use for it :D Anyway, can Diamond bolts be purchased for lower than market price on the G E?
-
Well, i'm not pro when it comes to PJ-ing or Rushing but i feel that some common sense might come into pay here. Its going to be extremly risky as you will have to carry weapons with you that will be able to fight any sort of combat. This will be D Bow to counter on an Ancieter, Blits/Barrage Spells to counter on a Clawer/AGS'er and both of the previous named for a D Bowwer. I would suggest taking weapons that hit high, often. Like mentioned Morrigans Javelins will be a great weapon for any type of rusher, particulary D Bowwers and Ancienters as their armour hardly ever has a decent ranged defense. Something like claws will also be good if they person is stupid enough to come close to you. Im not sure if this works but keeping Barrage or Blits on autocast might freeze your Melee rusher before he is able to use the second spec. IF this workd then he's going to be in a world of trouble as you will have all 3 styles to take him out.

I like exploring my options and doing what would be best and more effecient. If there's something wrong with that then i'm afraid every success full man in the world has "a bad habbit". Someone didn't think things through before answering :shame:

1. If you're doing ZMI, fill bank. 2. If you're making cosmics, which is what it looks like, make astrals at 82. 40 gold profit more each rune, and trips are shorter. 3. If you're going to use an essence holding familliar, maybe look into either energy or superenergy potions, or lightweight clothing. 4. If you're doing abyss, I'd advise the Adze. If you have the level. 5. Why raise a skill that sucks in F2P? Unless you're just trying to raise a hard skill, in which case I recommend do SC to raise smithing, or powermine granite. 1. I wont be doing ZMI, i'm doing this for the sole purpose of profit. 2.Yes this is what i'm going to do. Any idea on how many Astrals i can Craft per hour? 3. I weigh 9kg at the moment and i have not yet once had to walk. I think 75 Agility helps me out there. 4. I just ude the Agility and Thieving shortcuts. 5. Awesome cape, awesome money maker. I do intend to get membership after this one runs out, i'm just going to take a break after this though. Btw, 4 and a half months should get me in the high 90's right? -

Since i haven't got membership for too much longer i decided that i might aswell put the time i have to good use and get my RC to 99. 4 and a half months should do? Anyway here's my RC tab. It consists of skiller outfits and the needed supplies. I might aswell look flashy when doing the most boring skill in RS... -
Ah hah. This is a Maging guide. I'm just adding a ranged section now because i find that there arent alot of decent guides out there.
-
Hey there. I'm working on one of my guides and im trying to complete it. I just need a screenshot of 2 thing. A decent Aviansie tanking setup and a Prayer setup. Thanx!
-
Were you banking the bones?
-
I just chiined from 97 - 99. Slaying Ranged was a bit boring for me. Does anyone know anything about the costs related to Plank Make?
-
Basically people risk a ban for a little bit of mage exp... Does falling asleep behind the keyboard count as being Afk? I would be damn well pissed if i got banned because i suffer from narcolepsy. eCFIM;dghhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Sorry, fell asleep for a second there. Anyway you get the point? What if you get bored to the point of falling alseep while doing this?

I get between 70-100k experience per hour using a full SC mage set (minus the staff). I only firebolt the irons though, as I believe their magic defence is quite a bit lower than steel dragons. Maybe that's what makes the difference. Also, I've made around 2M profit so far on 30k casts, just to make you aware of my gains. I definitely suggest using SC armour though, as it cuts the costs in half, meaning more potential to profit. I might add this to my "short list" aswell as soon as i have a stable and reliable internet connection. If i may ask, what does your profit mainly consist of? Stackable drops? Alch? Dragon Bones?

I like this idea. I've never done DK's before so i would require some educating in the field but i'm sure i would get used to it in no time. I like the idea of making some money. I was thinking of Barraging or Bursting 98 - 99 which should get me enough charms for 90 Summoning along with the charms i have at the moment and th charms i will futher make while getting 85 slayer. Hah i expected you to say something like this. I might actually end up considdering this for a level or two but im looking for something that requires a little less attention. doing this will require me to pay full attention o the screen at all times or risk losing a great deal of money. I will however keep this on my short list.
-
Well i never really thought i would get this far, but after getting 99 Ranged, Attack, Defense, Hitpoints and Strenght im down to my last Combat related 99, Magic (that is if you don't include Prayer or Summoning). I've been grinding away at getting the above mentioned 99's for a while now and i think its time i slow it down. I would like to get 99 Magic with an avarage exp rate of anything above 45k an hour. I would prefer to make a small ammount of money, but if i end up losing 5 mil i would not mind. I had a few things in mind, some i know alot of, some i know nothing of. At the moment i find myself Maging Aviansies. i find this enjoyable but due to a very bad bar drop rate i find myself annoyed. I still have enough runes left to get me to 90 Magic and i intend on using them all on Aviansies. I manage to get round about 50k exp an hour while not grinding myself and being able to chat with friends. on the rare occasion at whitch i have no friends online i manage to grind 60k exp an hour. Here are some other ideas i have had: Plank Make - I have no idea what the costs or exp rate is, i did however read somewhere that it can be profitable depending on the market. Diamond Bolt Enchanting - I have heard of 100k exp an hour while making profit, only if you catch the market at the right time. This is highly clicking intensive though. Fire Bolting Metal Dragons - 50k Exp an hour while not losing too much money and standing a chance of making all and more of it back. MTA - I have no idea about this, any information will be kind. Superglass Make - 30k exp an hour while making some of your profit back. Alot of clicking involved though. Charging Orbs - I have no information on this, anything will be kind. Humidify - Once again i have no information on this. So that sums up my viable options. Alching and Jewelry Stringing is not mentioned due to the high cost related to this. I would like to point out that i am unlikely to stick with just one method of training. I will most likely chose the few i think is best and rotate between them to keep myself from getting too bored. If you have any other methods i do not make mention of please tell me about them. Thanx in advance.

Which is better at Waterfiends- Zammy Spear or Whip and DFS?
gorgoroth replied to tedbundty's topic in Help and Advice
Stick to Spear. -
A good rate for profit. I imagine this is calculated without Stealing Creation robes, meaning around 100k experience per hour, provided they are a viable choice for Avansies. Well as long as you can get a setup with 120+ Ranged def and 60+ Mage attack bonus you should do just fine. Im just about to finish reach 100kc so ill post the Exp and Profit i made. Ths should give you a better idea of how good they actually are. Also ive never really tried SC Robes, but i imagine this could get you some crazy exp. EDIT: Okay so after 100 kills i managed to get just over 45k Exp and i made a 7k Profit (yeah its nothing but i have a really bad bar drop rate atm). These 100 Kills took me less than an hour of actuall play to get. so like i said an exp rate of 50k an hour or more is easily getable.
-
Well Maging Aviansies is not only something out of the ordinary but its fun and profitable (very small profit). Oh and it can get you about 50k exp an hour. Not the best Exp rate, but atleast this wont cost you a thing.

no zammy item? Nah, the spot i use only has Icefiends and Pyrefiends and they rarely get a hit on me. -
1. People that complain about the game and how much Jagex fails yet they still play Runescape. 2. Merchanting clans. 3. People who "hate" Merching Clans yet they still join them. I only have 3 things to be honest. The rest are minor and not even worthy of my mention. Btw, the wholes in the quest lines are obvious hints that they are working on sequal quests, or thats what my logic would tell me atleast.
